Wuthering Nights is the first song that I hadn't heard prior that got right to my top 3. I try to strip bias from my listens and really give a full listen thru, but things like surrender by Cheap Trick I just can't and is in my top 10 songs of all time and will always have bias towards that. I've skirted around diving into Kate Bush tho for so long and never commit. Dear lord was that an anthem. Also I love Hold the Line, but Georgy Porgy is the MUCH better Toto song from 1978 !!

After last week's nearly perfect list, this was always going to be not as good but there are some secret bangers on this list. And a few that ive just heard far too much, that no longer give me any enjoyment unfortunately

I didn't wanna sound like a negative Nancy but I did notice that 1978 wasn't quite as packed with great music as the prior years in the decade imo. This playlist just helped show me how trends that would define the 80s in music were already pretty well formed by this time.
