I liked both of last night episodes.

The second one was probably the better of the two. gonna spoiler tag incase someone looks without watching yet.

Before I watched the first, I went and watched the Abbott Elementary part of the crossover. I feel this one didn't hit as much for me as I didn't really know the characters from that show, and watching that episode didn't really help. But it was still pretty funny seeing more of their side of what happened during the Abbott Elementary episode. But yeah didn't hit for me as much as I'd have liked.

For the second episode on last night, I'm honestly mad they set up the ending so early in the episode and i didn't catch it. Frank was impressed by the whole turning stuff into cake, and the others being like they could tell a cake from a non cake. I should have fucking realized he was a damn cake during his coma. Like I knew he was tricking them some how. But I thought it was because of Dee saying she wished he just die already, which is what they probably wanted you thinking. They planted the seeds really nicely with that one. Good stuff.

I liked both episodes a lot as well I thought the Abbot crossover was great. I liked the Abbot episode of it as well but it was fun to see what the gang was actually doing while they were there.

Now we know why Dennis wasn’t around as much because he was too busy filling coffee orders Also, hearing goody two shoes Janine say a swear was great.

The second episode was really good too. Dee was the highlight for me when she was freaking out about the guys doing something without her.

So I'm 12 or 13 seasons into a rewatch

My first thought is that Sweet Dee is probably my favorite performances followed by Denis.

That episode was all over the place. Dee doing postmates, Charlie making spicy burgers, and Mac and Dennis being EMTs lol. Then when they bring their bullshit together everything hits the fan. The damn lawyer being back again is great. Frank not evwn remembering his eye being attacked by a bird is funny and checks out. The crash at the end was dramatic as fuck and over the top ridiculous, but i loved that. Them fleeing the scene and pinning everything on the lawyer

also a nice callback to the previous episode at one point when frank put someone in the hospital and he questioned if they were cake lol.
