Looks like it will be another first person game. I don't hate them but I'm a pussy and first person is a lot more scary than third. As soon as I saw the girl I thought it was Ethan's daughter but then they said the name and I was like nevermind but Ashcroft sounds familiar. I started to think RE:CV but that's ashford.

THEN when I saw the giant crater I KNEW it was raccoon city.

Is it confirmed to be first person because I was hearing rumors they were finally gonna return to third person. I don’t like first person games so I never played the last two. I’m really hoping to be able to play a resident evil game again.

I’m gonna hold out my hope. I heard other gaming sites saying from the footage they thought it was gonna be third person. I do like the addition of Ashcroft returning as the main character so I’m really hoping to be able to play this one.

I'm not a big fan of first person games but I would highly recommend 7 and 8. both are great.

Been waiting for news about this game for a while and I can't say I'm sold with this trailer. It has a bit of a Silent Hill vibe somehow.

I guess I was expecting something more like the RE4 remake which was glorious.

I believe they are still remaking re5 along with this. I think they decided to do both to makes fans happy no matter which view you prefer.

That’s fantastic news. Does that mean the entire game you can choose between the two or is it one character has one and the other character has the other cause I did hear some people saying that Leon was gonna be third but Grace was going to be first. I’d love to be able to play her in third person.

8 came out with a third person view so you could try that one
