That’s fantastic news. Does that mean the entire game you can choose between the two or is it one character has one and the other character has the other cause I did hear some people saying that Leon was gonna be third but Grace was going to be first. I’d love to be able to play her in third person.

You can switch whenever you want via the options menu it seems, they talk about it in the video.
Like Butters said, Village already allowed to play from both perspectives albeit it was clearly developed with first person view in mind.

That’s what I heard about 8 was that it was developed later so it’s not quite as cohesive when I’m trying to play in third person but if this new one is actually developed to be played with both perspectives in mind that’s gonna be great

you have to switch in the main menu tho so it's not like an on the fly switch. at least in the current demo, it would be switched for final game.

Oh yeah, I wouldn’t expect an easy switch in the middle of gameplay. I just mean the game was developed with third person in mind because Village was made with first person in mind as far as I’m aware and then they retroactively later adapted in the third person which made it kind of clunky from what I understood but if this one they’ve designed to be played from either perspective that’s a huge win.

yeah you think tho that it should be a quick toggle. almost if not all of the bethesda games can do it so why not resident evil

Village was always meant to be experienced in 1st person because you want to be as close as possible to Lady D's massive tatas
