Does it matter really ? It's still slap in the face to a loyal veteran who wants to stay. A release or non renewal is the same thing , he is being laid off either way

I mean not really, Bear bronson and Abadaon were both not extended. The company paid them like Truth to the end of their deals. That is the timeframe he was hired for unless they extended it. I disagree with the decision but a non-renewal is different to a firing

damn that sucks. I mean least he went out on a high tho. Truth on the indies could be intresting though. I dont think AEW would sign him but, I could see him doing GCW once or twice. I think this one of those looking at his age things 53 years old. I mean he still def could been used on tv for comedy or even used as a personality if WWE wanted him to retire soon. I wish him best obviously a stand up guy and kind.

its a lay off, not a firing. your contract not being renewed at work means you are being laid off. I certainly understand the difference between finishing the deal or not, I just don't see it as some lesser blow (r truth, bear and abadon also probably only care about not having a job).

Vince generally had his guys and rewarded loyalty most of the time - I agree with you I don't think he would let go of Truth - felt like Vince loved that guy
