Are people really this ignorant?

OBAMA IS FUCKING RICH TOO....EVERY POLITICIAN IS RICH....

lol, youre bitching about the "obamas not rich part" rather than "a black person couldnt become president" part.

and travis this thread is dumb.. youre not even saying pro-mccain stuff, just a bunch of anti-obama stuff. it just sounds like you have a vendetta against him. and yeah, democrats are for the "poor" if thats what you want to call it.

I am going to have to say Obama. McCain does not feel fit as a president. Also, considering the fact he is basically gonna follow in Bush's footsteps, if he is elected our country will slowly die within the next 4 years. Obama definitely. But personally, if I actually had the right to vote yet, I would choose and write-in (not sure if you could do that anymore or not) or not vote at all.

This is Blaze, and this is a ffff..very very important messe-g! Lol.. >_>

anyway tbh, fuck both of them. Obama is supporting Israel (sorry DX) and McCain is supporting his OWN family lol.

I think Clinton was better, atleast she has more experience in politics. But as she is a lady, she had to get down the steps as no woman ruled the country before; but it would have been interesting to see what could she do if she was elected as the president.

Clinton uses double speak, so I am happier than hell she wasn't elected. I would rather have someone like Mcain who will tell me straight up honesty what he's going to do "As in, stay in Iraq", rather than have Clinton change her stance 3 times in the same sentence or have Obama outright lie to me about it.

Anyone who thinks Obama will cut taxes for the middle class must be insane.

EVERYONE will have higher taxes if Obama wins. Rich, Poor, middle class. It doesn't matter. They may tax the wealthy more (which is what happans now) but they will not cut taxes for the middle class.

How in the hell do you think they are going to get money for all the social programs the Dems are in love with? How are they going to pay for Universal Healthcare? They are going to raise EVERYONE'S taxes.

And don't even get me started on universal healthcare. It will cause the healthcare system in the US to collapse. The drug companies will have no incentive to develop any new medicines. In addition, you won't just be paying for the healthcare of those who need it, you will be paying for those who will take advantage of the system. Healthcare isn't free and it won't be cheap for hard working middle class citizens.

Also, I hear that Obama wants to raise the middle wage to $9.50. What is going to happen to all the business owners who hire high school and college kids when they have to pay everyone $9.50? They are going to go out of business. So instead of there being a lot of lower paying jobs, there will be fewer higher paying jobs. I bet people would rather have a lower paying job, then no job at all.

Lastly, running on a platform of change, without giving any concrete evidence stating how you will change anything is ridiculous.

I thank God everyday that people are starting to see the fraud that is Barack Obama.

McCain: Lets give the rich tax cuts.
Obama: Lets give the middle class tax cuts...

Wait, Travis, did you say McCain wasn't for the rich?

Sorry, but it bugs me when we still have young people in North America (canada or USA) that, after all that's gone on, still approve republicans. I was hoping young people would now see past idiots like McCain.

No...I didn't, so read before you talk.....I said that the common mistake is that people think Republicans are just for the rich, which isn't true at all. If Republicans weren't for the poor, they'd raise taxes. And how is McCain an idiot?...at least he doesn't repeat "CHANGE" and "YES WE CAN" like Bob the Builder.

See a raise in taxes means that more money is being collected to use for social concerns. In the end it does help the poor.

You have posters of Bill O'Reilley and Sean Hannity on your walls don't you? Maybe some Anne Coulter on your ceiling?

I have a poster of Anne Coulter on my wall. She's a fucking sexy bitch! And with all that anti-liberal fire in her, you know she's smoking in bed too!

Anyways, I don't see the problem with raising taxes. I KNOW, SHOCKING! But hey, I've mentioned the bastards before and I will mention it again.

Denmark, happiest country in the world. They pay 50% of their income yearly on taxes. So nobody is necessarily really rich in Denmark. But they have

Free Education

Free Health Care of all kinds

and loads more government sponsored programs that help improve and better their lives.

You don't need all the extra money that you lose from taxes if your government actually spends your taxes correctly on projects that are DESIGNED to help out and give right back to the very tax payers who support them.

So even though I'm a Mcain guy, if Obama won, he could raise all the freakin taxes he wants. As long as my tax dollar is spent improving my quality of living, I will gladly pay the price to help my America be a better place to live.

^^^That sounds a lot like Socialism.

The last thing I would want is someone else (The Government) controlling important aspects of my life. I'd rather keep my hard earned money to spend on the things I need and want.

I believe the best way to help the poor is by creating more jobs.

Its impossible to create jobs when the taxes on those who create them (the wealthy, corporations, even small business owners) are raised.

If what Denmark is doing above sounds like Socialism then by God call me a Socialist, because that's still too tempting an offer for me to pass up.

Its hard to get poor people more jobs when the poor people fail mandatory drug tests or have some form of mental history or asthma or may be obese or any number of issues. New jobs arn't going to matter if the new employers only are looking to hire college grads or people with experience.
