I mean I didn't think the story was ending like this, hence the prediction.

to some. I like it. But if you wanted someone to be the fall guy, Cody wasn't it.

they wasted Sami for this too and now their tag win is not as meaningful unfortunately.

anyways, ya, they just had an opportunity to solidify a new Cena but instead they decided to go the Jeff Jarrett route.

Cody had to become a WWE loser - before he becomes a WWE winner. basic brand protection. It just not guaranteed he will get the belt at all.
Damn I actually agree with you. Maybe the apocalypse is today. Nice knowing y’all

I just can’t believe you guys fail to see the storyline potential in Roman winning. Cody winning was the easy route. I honestly feel like shit gets a lot more interesting from here.

I look at it this way, as someone who only watches the PLEs and no longer has an emotional investment to who wins or loses or gets pushed

They've had 3 potentially great opportunities just in the year to have their "moment", so I feel like going forward they still will have those opportunities. Whether it be with Cody, Sami, Jey, Solo, Rock, whoever... So that's all well and good. The story can continue. No doubt Cody will relish in the melodrama of falling short in this moment. If that's all cool with you, I respect it.

On the other hand, a lot of shit has been sacrificed for this reign and to me they are treading into the territory where people might start to realize that this is still the same Roman that WWE are going to probably continue to prioritize over everyone else, even though they don't need to anymore because he is now THAT GUY

So you think Cody should come back to the company and just have the perfect fairy tail route to the title with no bumps in the road? Come on man.
