Who's the Wrestlemania host?

This week on Raw, the host for Wrestlemania 27 is announced. WWE are promising big things for this announcement, will they deliver?

Let's see, could be Bret Heart? It could be The Rock, Or maybe Stone Cold, Or hell maybe even HBK Shawn Michaels. How ever even though some way some how all of those would be a possible high hopes guess based on recent story lines in the past year in WWE. I highly doubt it would be any of these people. WWE tends to disappoint when it comes to huge announcements. My honest guess is that the same person who host's the PPV is also the one who is revealed as raw GMN or maybe if big reaction & a good job at hosting such a show like WM27, maybe this person becomes SD GM? But for that I think that guess would lead more towards someone like Batista or even Big Diesel(Kevin Nash).

why does Orton always have to go against Sheamus? We all know Orton is going to win. Sheamus never beat him.

Mania just became a must watch show. It was going to be a much different Wrestlemania than normal due to the transitional period happening in WWE right now. The Rock means that WWE will get a huge buyrate for the show, The Rock alone will probably add 50k to 100k buys. Huge news for the PPV and good that they have announced it so early so that they can build up to it. On a side note The Rock still looks huge and could put some of the current roster to shame.

Cena should be crying himself to sleep adter that promo. Thats how you do it, thats the difference between greatness and mediocre. FINALLY... we have a face on WWE tv that we can believe in. Loved the promo and I can't wait to see if Rocky will be there next week or weeks to follow. What a great surprise, Vince wanted big and he got big, thats for damn sure.

Holy shit. Just watched this and I felt like a 9 year old watching wrestling for the first time again.

Rock always was and always will be my favourite of all time, and he BROUGHT it for this return. Best segment of WWE TV I've seen since 2002.

It was definitely a special night. Seeing Rock rip Cole for the first time in years was something special too. Then there was the Cena talk... holy shit. Words can't describe how happy I am as a wrestling fan right now.

Thank you Vince!

The best part for me was when he paused for his catchphrase at the end, you could see the goosebumps on his arms, and what coud've been sweat, but I'll like to say it was a tear. And you could just imagine him thinking "yeah, I'm back". Just an awesome segment, you give him a mic, two hours and targets and you'll still get the biggest rating in the past 10 years.

The Rock still has it. That promo had me right in front of the TV. The Rock's delivery is still the best in the business. Screw Cena, how about Orton? I am a Orton fan but that guy can't do a good face promo to save his life.

I don't think that's all the fault of Orton. The character he plays is a little too reserved to make great face promos.

Depends on how much of an impact Orton himself has on the character.

I was very surprised on how good The Rock was on the mic. after all those years. He never missed a beat. I'm really wondering what he meant when he said "I'm not going anywhere". He has said numerous times he will never wrestle again. I wonder if he misses it, because of his recent failed movies. I mean come on, he is an alright actor. But he isn't a STAR. He is more of a second fiddle, like he will be in Fast Five.

Does anyone think his speech about Cena was scripted?
