I mean from what i've read - its to prevent 3rd parties from filming rather than people actively engaging the police:
-The law also says that a person who is the subject of police activity can record as long as they're not being handcuffed, searched or subjected to a field sobriety test.

I believe we should already have laws in place about interrupting ongoing police proceedings whether you are filming or not. Also wouldn't be an issue if everytime there's an incident the cop(s) fights like crazy to prevent the body cam footage from being released so we can't rely on that. No other way to hold police accountable, just look at the shit we're still finding put about Uvalde and they would have easily kept that hidden if it wasn't a major national story, they were shocked it didn't work this time clearly
