I just finished watching the Montreal Screwjob episode and had a hard time believing that Vince Russo was the guy who pitched the idea of a double cross finish to Vince McMahon. He doesn't come across as that sophisticated mind.
On another note, Jim Cornette's gave a wrestling history lesson (which is THE most important history lesson of 'em all) of the original screwjob between Ed "Strangler" Lewis and Henri Deglane. Lewis refused to drop the title because it was money. Deglane and his manager Dan Koloff devised a scheme where Koloff bit Deglane in the arm in the dressing room. When the match began, Deglane was locking up with Ed Lewis and Deglane complained to the referee that Lewis bit him in the arm. That was a disqualification and, at the time, the title could change hands on a disqualification so Deglane was awarded the title.
