Like with Bateman aka EC3 this can be what Hero needs. He was very unmotivated it seemed in NXT and getting dropped can be the fire that needs to be lit under him. Say he shows up in TNA ala Bateman and goes all in to make it work since it could be his last shot. Could end up being the best for both parts.

I see a lot of speculation and little fact here.

Fact: Hero (as I usually think of him) was released from his NXT contract.

Speculation: There was something that didn't go right between him and the main office.

Further speculation: Rumors abound that he was asked to improve his look and refused to invest in himself by working out, dieting, and doing the other things that would help his look. (Notice how further speculation is rumors)

Out-there speculation: HHH hates him.

All we know for sure is that the guy got released and we can draw one simple statement from that. For all we know, he asked to be released because he didn't feel like he fit in well with what was happening in NXT or even with WWE in general. Blanket-blaming HHH, Vince, Stephanie, or Stone Cold Steve Austin is just silly. I offer this idea: Dixie Carter bribed JBL to get HHH to release him because she wants to bring Hero to TNA to be EC3's beer-drinking brother, Billy Carter...(some of you will get that joke; others not so much).

Yeah, EC3 and Billy for TNA Tag Team Champs!

I'm sure he'll go to NJPW. I really don't see him in TNA to be honest.

This sucks. This man is money on the mic, fuck what his body looks like. An Ohno/Cena feud would be money in the bank (no pun intended)

It was Stone Cold's fault! He asked Kassius to drink some beer and he said no. Reports said that they had feuds in and out of the building, while it's still a possibility they didn't.

Yeah, that's why he's well over 10 years in wrestling business and gets booked on the indys so often - and wrestles awesome matches on regular basis.
Not enough effort into working out.

Because everyone in WWE should look like a fitness model, right? And because no one has genetic problems, right? Getta fuck outta here.
Apparently he was basically asked to drop a little weight. They didn't want him to get ripped, just drop back to the weight he was on when he was signed. They had a main roster spot and plan ready for him apparently and all but he refused/butted heads with them. And as a developmental guy you don't have pull like say Punk, who can get away with having an ego because he's and established guy. I think attitude was more reason for being released than him not dropping weight fast enough. A simple explanation of "I have hard time losing weight genetically, can I get some help/some more time to do it" would have worked much better than flat out refusing or claiming you don't need it. In what kind of job do you go against your boss and remain hired?

Allegedly

also you miss the point. point is. WWe shouldn't be sweating Ohno's love handles. its petty bullshit and exemplifies a lot of what is wrong with the company at this juncture

Can't say I care to be honest. I saw it coming, in fact (on another forum), I called him getting released. He will probably go to NJPW.
