WWE Wrestlemania 25 - The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels

What can i say about this that hasn't been said already, JUST WOW will never get boring Two men in their 40's just putting on a show. Counters, spots, tension, drama, the storytelling this had it all AND if it wasn't for 1 or 2 sloppy moments this would be a Full 5. But i have to give it. ****3/4

PWG Battle of Los Angeles 2012 (Night One) - First Round Match: TJ Perkins vs. Joey Ryan

This had no real excitement for me maybe because Ryan was playing to crowd way too much and TJ hardly sold anything. Don't get me wrong it was a solid way to start the show but it just didn't do it for me. **1/2

PWG Battle of Los Angeles 2012 (Night One) - First Round Match: Roderick Strong vs. Drake Younger

AWESOME, AWESOME STUFF here. These two pretty much tore down the house with some stiff psychical moves which had me even cringing. Drake took a lot of nasty stuff in this match as well, but they actually used that to tell a story, instead of just doing it for the sake of doing it (AKA DAVEY RICHARDS). Drake has me interested in him and i would love to see him more in PWG as for Roddy he has definitely been producing good stuff this year, and it’s not getting as much attention as he deserves but as Roddy has always been that solid wrestlers how 80% of the time gives you your moneys worth. ***1/2

PWG Battle of Los Angeles 2012 (Night One) - First Round Match: Kyle O'Reilly vs. Eddie Edwards

The feeling out process at the beginning wasn't that enjoyable but once they for that out of the way HOLY SHIT! this got AWESOME. I loved the story of both men trying to up the other so with every shot it would get more stiffer and every move would be delivered with that extra something. It was nice to get some selling in this match as well it really helped make this match watchable. ***1/2 Also this is why i enjoy PWG more than ROH right now cause if this was ROH they would of gave them 30+ and it prob would of fallen apart in the middle but with PWG they gave them 15-17 minutes which was perfect for the story they were telling.

PWG Battle of Los Angeles 2012 (Night One) - First Round Match: Kevin Steen vs. Ricochet

This match was fantastic. The dynamic action between these two was done to perfection, you just cannot have a better match both of these guys busted their asses and made the crowd get so emotional invested that it was AWESOME. Some of the stuff they did her was pure ridiculous and i thought Ricochet died one or two time and that finishing stretch had me MARKING HARDCORE. Oh and having Cage interfere worked to the matches advantage which was a huge plus. So year this was just krazy good from bell-to-bell. **** I honestly think they could have an even better match down the line.

PWG Battle of Los Angeles 2012 (Night One) - First Round Match: Sami Callihan vs. Willie Mack

Surprised this is in the first round, Both men are very over with the Reseda crowd. This match was an all out war, they went hard with great good power move battle, which you don't see too often on the indies. So that was a nice change, plus It's always fun to see guys just trade big moves back and forth, and they really made the moves mean something with the desperation pinfalls after. If only PWG did feuds cause seeing these two fuck each other up for 3 plus month would be awesome, or maybe as a tag team cause they both have the same style and build (wet dream) ***1/2 THESE TWO GUYS HIT HARD

PWG Battle of Los Angeles 2012 (Night One) - First Round Match: Adam Cole vs. El Generico

They packed some awesome shit into this 12 minutes of time they got. Cole showed an extremely different side of himself, and they built the match around his awesome heel work. (ROH needs to take a look at this, cause that lame good guy think he's doing is not working) It was also perfect timing to debut his heelness cause you knew he wasn't gonna get more cheers than Generico. Oh and the finish with "Cole going for the Canadian Destroyer but countered into Yakuza kick. Half nelson suplex. And as Generico goes for the brainbuster Cole reverses it into a small package for the 3!" was FUCKING BRILLIANT! Great work from both guys as you would expect. ***1/2 - ***3/4 Steen on commentary for the FUCKING WIN!

PWG Battle of Los Angeles 2012 (Night One) - First Round Match: Davey Richards vs. Michael Elgin

This was such a fantastic match and i enjoyed it more than the Showdown in the Sun one. They had the crowd which had died down to get back to their feet for the last ten minutes, the pacing, High impact moves and nearfalls were ridiculous. Michael Elgin looked unstoppable and didn't look lost which was a good thing cause he does look lost some times. Some of the power counters he does is AMAZING and in a few years he's gonna be a real stud and could do big things in the WWE or on NXT :side:. As many know i'm not the biggest Davey Richards fan cause of the way he puts matches together with the silly NO SELLING and big spots that don't add anything but this has to be the first time since he was teaming with Eddie during his "American Wolf" days that I've enjoyed him going all out to take this monster off his feet and putting him down for good. ****- ****1/4 Only thing holding it back was Davey kicking out of the Air raid crash off the top rope! that would of been a much better way of winning then the Bucklebomb then Spinning powerbomb.

WWE Royal Rumble 2004 - Rumble Match

Now normally i find it incredibly hard to rate battle royal matches but this had everything Storytelling with can Benoit go the distance or is Goldberg who has the number 30 spot gonna come in and KILL everyone. This also helped create and develop new feuds e.g. Goldberg/Brock, Orton/Foley and it also created some tension between Jericho and Christian. Oh and it was used to tease the return of Deadman Taker. The Acton was pretty jam packed all the way through and even the rest spot with Earnest the Cat miller was done at the right time and didn't look corny at all. The exchange with Benoit and Show to finish the was was perfection if you think about it now, Benoit who has already been in the match for 60 minutes and has outlasted 28 other men, and the only thing standing in his way of headlining WM is the worlds biggest athlete who also had a stellar performance himself and to have him overcome it by himself was BEAUTIFUL. *****

One interesting aspect of the match that I noticed was Benoit and Orton drew #1 and #2. Throughout the match, Benoit and Orton would end up being the only two in the ring for about half way through when everybody else had been cleared out that is until Mick Foley came out and clotheslined Orton out so they could violently beat the CRAP out of each other at ringside. Also at the end of Benoit’s title reign, Randy Orton was the one who ended the whole thing. Just a little something I noticed that I thought was interesting. (Still my favorite Rumble match all time, 2nd being 2001 and 3rd 1992)

Prince Devitt vs. Low Ki - NJPW Power Struggle 2012
Probably the best match I've seen between these two. A fantastic back and forth match which had stiff action, nice sequences and a really good finish. I liked how the match didn't drag out, because although they both could have gone an extra 10 minutes easily, they fitted in everything that was needed. For me, the small package victory was the perfect way to end the match, as it stopped the bout from going into overkill mode and left it open for them to have a rematch down the line. ****

WWF Raw Is War 10/02/2000 - WWF World Tag Team Titles: The Hardy Boyz (w/Lita) vs. Too Cool (w/Mandy & Victoria)

Scotty 2 Hotty locks up with Matt to start and forces him into a corner then works him over before whipping him into the opposite corner. Scotty charges but eats an elbow and Matt hops to the middle rope but Scotty cuts him off. Scotty goes up for a superplex but Matt shoves him down to the mat and hits the guillotine legdrop for a two count. Matt hits a sidewalk slam before tagging in Jeff who springs off the top rope into a moonsault. Grandmaster Sexay breaks up the pin then challenges Jeff to a danceoff and shoves off his moves and Jeff responds with his own steps. Let me tell you, Sexay looks goofy but Jeff looks even goofier. Sexay’s not happy at being showed up so he kicks Jeff in the midsection and Scotty follows up with a suplex. Sexay tags in legally and and hammers away on Jeff while talking trash then whips him into a corner. Sexay charges at Jeff but Jeff sidesteps and Sexay straddles the middle turnbuckle. Both men make tags and Matt lands several right hands on Scotty then catches Sexay coming in with a backdrop. Matt clotheslines Scotty and covers him but Sexay makes the save. Jeff comes in and the Hardys whip Sexay then go for a double suplex but Sexay counters with a DDT on both Hardys. Scotty covers Matt but Jeff breaks it up with a drop kick and Sexay goes for a whip but Jeff reverses him into a corner. Matt drops to the mat and Jeff hits the Poetry in Motion. Matt whips Scotty into the opposite corner and drops down while Jeff goes for another Poetry on Motion but Scotty sidesteps and Jeff crashes on the turnbuckles. Scotty hits the bulldog on Matt followed by the Worm then covers him Matt gets his foot on the bottom rope. Scotty scoops Matt up when Matt floats over him and goes for the Twist of Fate but Scotty shoves him away. Suddenly Edge and Christian come out and Christian distracts the referee while Edge tries to spear Matt but misses and hits Scotty instead. Matt throws Edge through the ropes while Jeff climbs to the top rope and connects with the Swanton Bomb on Scotty for the pin to retain. ** This was so much fun for 3 minutes, great fast paced action from bell-to-bell.

WWF Raw Is War 10/02/2000 - Chris Jericho & The Dudley Boyz vs. Tazz, Raven & X-Pac

X-Pac cost Jericho a tag match against Tazz and Raven on Smackdown with the Dudleys making the save so here we are. After the heels are out Jericho rush the ring by himself and goes after X-Pac but Tazz and Raven are quickly on him and Jericho gets triple-teamed. The Dudleys finally come out to and make the save then clear out Raven and X-Pac. Bubba Ray slams Tazz and sets him up while D’Von climbs to the top rope and hits the “Wassup” headbutt. Raven and X-Pac climb back in the ring and Bubba slams X-Pac to the mat. Tazz and Raven whip D’Von in and out of their corner several times then Raven tags in X-Pac and both men whip D’Von into a corner. Raven whips X-Pac toward D’Von but D’Von sidesteps and X-Pac straddles the turnbuckles. D’Von clotheslines Raven before Jericho tags in and takes it to both men then knocks Tazz off the apron. Jericho goes to whip X-Pac who reverses it but Jericho comes back with a flying clothesline. Jericho ducks a spinkick from X-Pac and decks him when Raven whips Jericho but Jericho slides under him. Jericho puts Raven in the Walls of Jericho but X-Pac kicks Jericho in the face to save him and Raven covers for a two count. Meanwhile D’Von takes out X-Pac on the floor while Bubba goes at it with Tazz. Raven goes for a whip but Jericho reverses him into a corner and comes off the ropes with the bulldog. Tazz comes in and slaps the Tazzmission on Jericho but Bubba nails Tazz from behind to break it up and plants him with the full nelson bomb. X-Pac hits Bubba with the spinkick while D’Von slams X-Pac with the Curtain Call. Raven goes for a whip on D’Von but D’Von reverses and the Dudleys hit the 3D. Jericho follows up with the Lionsault on Raven and scores the pin. ** Another short match jam packed with great stuff. This had allot of energy and got the crowd hype.

WWF Raw Is War 10/02/2000 - WWF Hardcore Title: Steve Blackman vs. Edge vs. Christian

Edge and Christian jump Blackman in the aisle and whip him into the apron. Edge attempts a whip but Blackman reverses and throws Edge over the barricade into the crowd. Christian nails Blackman with a trash can lid and throws him in the ring along with more trash lids. Christian takes a swing at Blackman but Blackman blocks it then takes the lid and works Christian over with it. Edge comes in but runs into a backdrop and Blackman hits several knees to Christian’s face followed by a bulldog. Blackman brings a trash can in and wedges it in a corner between the ropes then tries to whip Edge into it when Edge reverses it but Blackman slides to stop himself. Edge tries to trip Blackman into the can with a drop toehold and Blackman stops himself again but Christian dropkicks him into the can. Christian stomps away at Blackman then catches another trash can from Edge and takes a swing but misses. Blackman drives Christian into the can then tosses it at Christian who passes it off to Edge but gets nailed with a thrust kick while Edge clobbers Blackman with the can for a two count. Edge ties Blackman in the tree of woe and holds a can in front of him as Christian baseball slides it in his face. E&C pull Blackman to the center of the ring but then start arguing on who’s going to cover him. E&C then decide to bring a pair of chairs in the ring looking for a Con-chair-toe but before they can hit it Blackman kicks a chair into Edge’s face. Blackman tries to whip Christian but Christian reverses him into Edge’s chair and whacks him with a trash lid. Christian takes the chair from his fallen partner and turns around when Blackman kicks it into his head and scores the pin. **

WWE Main Event 11/21/2012 - The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler

Before the match they both guys had an AWESOME in-ring promo with each other then they had this great match, I’m officially on the Miz wagon now, he looked fucking great here. I love these main event matches, they let guys go out with out handcuffs and go 20+ minutes to test them for the future. It allows the superstars to get a good story in the ring and can showcase what they can do. Good wrestlers can work a thirty minute match and grasp pace, in-ring storytelling, and psychology. That will help them for the future if they do get that spotlight in the Main event. *** - ***1/4 Credit who ever came up with this.

WWF Raw Is War 10/09/2000 - Triple H & Chris Jericho vs. Chris Benoit & X-Pac

Feels weird that Triple H and Jericho on the same side, doesn't it? But that’s what sometimes happens when you combine two on-going feuds for a tag match. Once all four men are in the ring X-Pac taps Triple H on the shoulder despite being on opposite sides and Triple H exchanges words with Jericho even though they’re partners tonight. The bell sounds and all four men pair off with their respective opponents. Triple H throws Benoit through the ropes and the two fight on the floor with Triple H ramming Benoit into the ringsteps. Triple H throws Benoit back in but Benoit stomps him down as he rolls in. Benoit goes a whip but Triple H reverses and hits an elbow followed by a suplex. Triple H backs up for a kneedrop when Jericho slaps his back to tag himself in. Jericho goes for a whip, Benoit reverses it but Jericho comes back with a flying forearm. Triple H slaps Jericho to tag back in and hammers Benoit in a corner then whips him into the opposite corner and charges but eats a boot. Benoit unloads on Triple H and whips him into a corner but Triple H comes out with a neckbreaker. Jericho tags himself in and the two start shoving each other when Benoit knocks Jericho into Triple H. Benoit works Jericho over with chops and whips him into a corner then goes for a back suplex but Jericho flips out of it and dropkicks Benoit into the corner. Jericho gets in his chops then comes off the ropes with the bulldog for a two count. Jericho goes for a whip, Benoit reverses him into a corner and charges but eats an elbow. Jericho hops to the middle rope and goes for a missile dropkick but Benoit swats him down. X-Pac finally tags in and chops away on Jericho who goes for a whip, X-Pac reverses but Jericho hits a shoulderblock. Jericho comes off the ropes and X-Pac leapfrogs over him but Jericho chops him down. X-Pac goes for a whip when Jericho reverses him into his corner and charges but X-Pac lifts himself up and over and Jericho ends up knocking Benoit off the arpon. Jericho pops X-Pac but Benoit trips Jericho and pulls him into the ringpost by the legs. Benoit tags in and plants Jericho with a back suplex for a two count then follows up with a backbreaker for another two count. X-Pac tags back in and kicks Jericho down in a corner then goes for the Bronco Buster but Jericho comes out with a clothesline. Both men crawl to their corners and X-Pac tags in Benoit while Jericho tags in Triple H. Triple H clotheslines Benoit several times then whips him and hits the high knee. Triple H goes for a whip, Benoit reverses but lowers the head and Triple H hits the facebuster for a two count. Triple H and Jericho take turns hitting Benoit when X-Pac runs in and knocks Jericho off the apron. Triple H pummels Benoit in a corner while Jericho comes back in and knocks down X-Pac. Jericho whips X-Pac into a corner but X-Pac comes out and connects with a spin kick. X-Pac then bumps into Triple H, who doesn't see who it is and drops him with a right hand! Triple H is shocked at what he did when Benoit grabs him into a bridge suplex for a near fall. Benoit sets Triple H on the top rope and goes up for a superplex but Triple H headbutts him to the mat. Jericho knocks X-Pac over the top rope but that causes Triple H to straddle the top turnbuckle. Triple H slumps to the mat and Benoit quickly covers him for the 1..2..3! Benoit pins Triple H who suffers another big loss. **1/2 Despite the odd pairings a pretty good match for the most part. X-Pac and Jericho duke it out on the floor and X-Pac manages to lay out Jericho. Benoit then walks up the ramp grinning at the furious Triple H in the ring.
