WWE Survivor Series 2012 - Elimination Match: Team Foley (The Miz, Randy Orton, Team Hell No, and Kofi Kingston) vs. Team Ziggler (Dolph Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio, Damien Sandow, David Otunga, and Wade Barrett)

This was disappointing to me the Eliminations came very quickly with each fall like 5 minutes. If the match had more of a backstory or even if they tried to tell a story during the match, it might have been better but the lack of those took away from the match for me. Don't get me wrong this had some nice counter wrestling, which you’d expect from teams with as much talent in them as these two. But it just didn't click, and another thing I don’t get what's the point of turning Miz face and then having him not put on a better performance or being one of the main guys. The last 1 minutes with Orton and Dolph was fun and I'm was happy Dolph went over on a big stage like this. But using the PUNT into the Superkick, didn't work for me mainly cause I've seen HBK do that to Orton like 900 times and since when did Dolph start using a Superkick as a finisher. ***

WWE Survivor Series 2012 - WWE Championship: CM Punk vs. John Cena vs Ryback

Just an okay match. Not the greatest of triple threats. It was mostly 2 Guys fight in the ring one knocks the other out of the ring then the other will come flying in, You knew at some point Cena and Punk would take out Ryback. Both table spots were good. The match had its typical big spots with each man hitting their respective finisher. The good thing about this was the wrestler played their respected roles great here with Ryback as the raw power and brute strength, Cena was more the opportunist with the experience and Punk was there to keep the match together. OKAY NOW FOR THE ENDING, which was genuinely well done and all throughout the match, you didn't know that was gonna happen. CM Punk, Paul Heyman, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose all together, (oh and that Roman jobber, but it should of been OHNO) could be great for the WWE if booked right. Let's just hope WWE doesn't fuck this up and have them all job to RYBACK and Cena for a month and then demoted to NXT again. ***1/4

WWF Raw Is War 09/18/2000 - Chris Benoit vs. Kane

Okay so before this match Foley, Benoit, Rock and Taker all had a in-ring promo and Foley set up Rock/Taker and this one but while he was doing that Benoit and Kane start to go at it on the floor. A group of referees try to separate the two but Benoit nails Kane from behind with a chair while Rock and Taker stand face to face. Back from break we find Chris Benoit and Kane brawling down the ramp thus starting this and Kane gets the advantage and press slams Benoit through the ropes into the ring but Benoit is able to get in his shots when Kane climbs in. Kane throws Benoit into a corner and works him over, capping off with an uppercut. Kane whips Benoit into the opposite corner and scoops him up onto his shoulder when Benoit slips out into a waistlock but Kane elbows him away and hits a backbreaker. Kane clubs Benoit in the back then whips him, Benoit slides under Kane and goes for a dropkick but Kane just swats him away. Kane comes off the ropes but misses an elbowdrop and Benoit dropkicks his shin. Kane whips Benoit and grabs him by the throat but Benoit kicks at the knee to escape the chokeslam. Benoit comes off the ropes and rolls under a boot before dropkicking Kane in the back of the knee. Benoit slams Kane’s knee into the mat then drapes Kane’s leg on the rope and sits down on it. Benoit works over Kane’s knee some more but Kane manages to hit an enzuigiri and starts fighting back. Benoit attempts a backslide but Kane counters into a clothesline then whips Benoit and hits a boot. Kane whips Benoit again into a corner and charges but Benoit sidesteps and Kane runs his shoulder into the ringpost. Benoit looks for the Crossface but Kane blocks it and knees Benoit in the chest then throws him through the ropes. Benoit pulls Kane out to the floor and gets in some shots but Kane hits a knee then drops Benoit on the barricade. Kane climbs back in the ring when Benoit grabs the ring bell and climbs onto the apron. Kane grabs Benoit but Benoit clocks him with the bell and that’s the match. Benoit nails Kane with the bell again then shoves the referee down and hits a legdrop on Kane before climbing to the top rope and connects with the diving headbutt. However Kane sits up so Benoit decides he wants no part of this. And KANE's music hits. *1/2 this was pretty damn good for a no contest.

WWF Raw Is War 9.18.2000 - The Rock vs. The Undertaker

Both men lockup to start and Taker throws Rock down to the mat before they lockup again. Taker throws Rock into a corner and hammers away at him then whips him into another corner and hits a sidewalk slam for a near fall. Taker whips Rock into a corner and charges at him but eats a boot. Rock starts to fight back and whips Taker into a clothesline but Taker pulls Rock through the ropes then goes out after him. Taker pops Rock with a right hand and rams him into the ringsteps then elbows him in the head. Taker props Rock next to the ringpost and takes a swing but Rock moves and Taker punches the post. Rock starts to fight back and knocks Taker across the announce table with the Smackdown then punches him below the belt. Rock tosses Taker in the ring and goes for a whip but Taker reverses and Rock accidentally knocks down referee Earl Hebner. Rock whips Taker but lowers the head and Taker hits a DDT and covers but Hebner is still out and can’t count. Taker goes for a whip but Rock reverses and hits the spinebuster then connects with the People’s Elbow. Rock covers Taker but Hebner is still down so Rock to revive him when Taker grabs him and hits the chokeslam. Taker covers as the Hebner revives … but only gets two! Rock goes for a Rock Bottom but Taker fights out of it and hits the Last Ride then gets the 1..2..3!! Taker celebrates his win when Kane starts making his way down the ramp. Taker waits for Kane when Benoit charges in the ring and nails Taker from behind then helps Kane double-team him. Taker tries to fight back as Rock revives and goes at it with Kane while Benoit continues to work over Taker. Rock knocks Kane over the ropes with the Smackdown and Taker throws Benoit through the ropes. Taker turns around but Rock is waiting and plants him with the Rock Bottom. Rock stands over Taker as the final Raw on USA *1/2 So the Undertaker pinned the WWF under 5 minutes clean, REALLY and it wasn't even back-and-forth TAKER squashes him.

WWF Unforgiven 2000 - 8-Man Tag: The Dudley Boyz & The APA vs. The Right to Censor

Respectable as an opener for a PPV. The match is pretty quick for 6 minutes which was good enough that it didn't drag and to the point with frequent tags. Once again I don't like heel winning in the openers cause most of the time that match should be used to get the crowd hot but at least when this was over the Dudley's put Stevie through a table to get the crowd back into it. **

WWF Unforgiven 2000 - Hardcore Invitational: Steve Blackman vs. Al Snow vs. Crash Holly vs. Test (w/Trish Stratus) vs. Perry Saturn (w/Terri Runnels) vs. Funaki

Whoever is the champ at the end of the 10:00 time limit gets to keep it. Blackman was over at this time, man he was so AWESOME in this division. This started okay but went downhill quickly, at least the WM 2000 one had fun chaos and the Mean Street Posses bleeding all over the place. This had nothing. 1/2*

WWF Unforgiven 2000 - Chris Jericho vs. X-Pac

Good match here mainly because both guys worked well together. And it was nice that Jericho finally getting a pinfall on Pac, i think before this he was like 0-5 in the year of 2000. Post match Jericho keeping the Walls of Jericho locked in longer, but with the refs forcing him off so X-Pac jumped Jericho with the dreaded nun-chucks. Setting up the final match at next month's PPV, which is good as long as Jericho doesn't job. ***

WWF Unforgiven 2000 - Steel Cage Match for the WWF World Tag Team Titles: Edge & Christian vs. The Hardy Boyz

This match can be won by pinfall or both members escaping the cage and once you’re out you can’t go back in. E&C are out first followed by the Hardyz. Pretty okay match with some great spots, but it felt like they were holding back but with that being said they told an AMAZING story, much different story from most other cage matches. How often is the story of the match about someone trying to get back into the cage? Plus the Hardyz winning the titles was a good face moment just a shame the 1 month they held the title was spent feuding with the Conquistadors. ***1/2

WWF Unforgiven 2000 - Intercontinental Title: Eddie Guerrero (w/Chyna) vs. Rikishi

The build to this has been hilarious with Eddie trying his best to get Chyna's pics that she shoot for playboy ripped up thus turning him into the greatest scumbag ever. Eddie gets in the first shots but they have no effect when Rikishi whips him and hits him with a clothesline. Rikishi tosses Eddie over the ropes then goes out and throws him into the steps before tossing him back in. Rikishi whips Eddie and lowers the head when Eddie goes for a Sunset Flip but as usual can’t get him over. Rikishi goes for the sitdown splash but Eddie escapes it then bails out to the floor. Eddie decides he’s had enough and grabs Chyna to walk out when Chyna tries to convince him to have the guts to go back in. Eddie isn’t having it so Chyna throws him back in the ring herself and Rikishi greets him with some right hands. Rikishi whips Eddie and hits a backdrop then whips him into a corner and clotheslines him down to the mat. Rikishi moves in for the stinkface but Chyna pulls Eddie out to safety. Rikishi goes out to confront Chyna when Eddie shoves her at him and Chyna stops before she runs into him. Rikishi continues asking Chyna what’s up while Eddie climbs to the top rope and hits a flying crossbody. Eddie rams Rikishi into the steps befroe rolling him back in the ring. Eddie climbs to the top rope again and goes for the Frogsplash but misses and Rikishi squashes him with the running butt splash in a corner. Eddie floats over Rikishi and goes for a whip but can’t budge Rikishi who hits a version of a Diamond Cutter. Rikishi follows up with a Samaon Drop then climbs up the ropes and connects with the Banzai Drop on Eddie. The referee counts when Chyna comes in begging him not to reach three … and that saves Eddie? Huh? Rikishi is not happy with Chyna as she leaves the ring so he goes out after her and confronts her on the floor. Rikishi throws Chyna back in the ring and the two of them continue arguing when Rikishi shoves Chyna down and superkicks her and the referee calls for the bell. Rikishi drags Chyna to a corner and hits the Banzai Drop on her then leaves her and Eddie laying in the ring. DUD! It's just a shame this match was Six minutes of pure awfulness. The fucked up confusing booking didn't help either. How does Rikishi superkicking Chyna result in a DQ? Or for that matter how can Chyna just ask the referee not to count Eddie out?

WWF Unforgiven 2000 - Triple H (w/Stephanie McMahon) vs. Kurt Angle

All the months of build between these two have finally led to this moment. Mick Foley is out first to act as special referee and this is a NODQ match. Jesus CHRIST i forgot how Disappointing this was considering all the build to it. he action was boring and sluggish when it should have been an intense battle and stiff and both guy wanting to kill each other but instead we got a standard brawl match. So this basically resolved nothing after six months of buildup, and even the low blow Steph gave to Angle was stupid case she would just become his business manager the night after. Anyway post match sees Steph is still hovering over Kurt, so HHH grabs her and gives her an aggressive kiss with a mouth full of blood, EWWW!!! At least HHH sold the ribs from bell to bell. **1/2

WWF Unforgiven 2000 - WWF Heavyweight Title, Fatal-Fourway: The Rock vs. The Undertaker vs. Chris Benoit vs. Kane

The crowd was on fire as you’d expect for this main event but this had the usual problems, hit a move, pull a guy off, hit a move, pull a guy off but it was a decent end to the show. The final minutes were fun even it KANE looked like a blueberry cause Rocky hits the Rock Bottom. Rock covers Benoit, Taker tries to stop the pin, but Kane stops Taker. So essentially, Kane allowed Rock to win. :lmao oh and it also pissed me off that they did the SWERVE ending with Benoit again. Benoit only had two title matches that year, yet both involved him winning, but then having Foley restart the match C'MON you really gonna restart a Fatal 4 Way match because Benoit won the title by hitting Taker with a Chair and pinning him while Taker had his foot on the rope. Shouldn't every match be restarted then **1/2

WWF Raw Is War 09/25/2000 - Ladder match for the WWF World Tag Team Titles: The Hardy Boyz vs. Edge & Christian

Before the match Foley says "if they don’t win this match they get no more title shots against the Hardy's." I find it funny that around this time a year before they had an EPIC ladder match and the night after they had a Cage match just to do the opposite a year later IDK. Anyway this was No Mercy '99 level but still a damn good one they really gave it their all and they were all still pretty banged up from the wars dating back to SSlam the month before. ***1/2 So E&C can no long challenge for the titles :hm:

WWF Raw Is War 09/25/2000 - First Blood Match: Chris Jericho vs. X-Pac

Jericho is out first but hides on the stage besides the entrance way and jumps X-Pac as he makes his way out. Jericho beats X-Pac down the ramp and rolls him in the ring then hits some chops. Jericho goes for a whip, X-Pac reverses it but Jericho comes back with a spinning heel kick then clotheslines him over the ropes. Jericho goes after X-Pac who grabs a chair and takes a swing but Jericho ducks it and gets in his shots. Both men climbs back in the ring and X-Pac nails Jericho with a spinkick to take control. X-Pac whips Jericho but misses a clothesline and Jericho connects with a flying forearm. X-Pac rolls out the the apron and Jericho knocks him off with a slightly-botched springboard dropkick. Jericho comes off the apron with an anxehandle on X-Pac then chops him and whips him into the barricade. Jericho charges at X-Pac but X-Pac sidesteps him and spinkicks Jericho over the barricade into the crowd. Both men brawl among the fans until Jericho throws X-Pac back across the barricade the climbs onto it and hits a flying clothesline. Jericho hits a chop when X-Pac comes back with an elbow but Jericho bulldogs X-Pac onto the ringsteps. Jericho grabs the chair and takes a swing at X-Pac but misses and hits the ringpost. X-Pac grabs a glass bottle at ringside and smashes it in Jericho’s face. X-Pac throws Jericho back in the ring and rubs a piece of the bottle on Jericho’s forehead and eventually cuts him open for the win. X-Pac decides he’s not done yet as he pulls a pair of nunchuks from under the ring. X-Pac scares off the referee but Jericho low blows him from behind then takes the nun-chucks and cracks X-Pac in the head, busting him open as well. X-Pac tumbles through the ropes and Jericho goes out to continue his punishment then throws X-Pac across the announce table and and puts him in the Walls of Jericho on the table. ** Guess the bookers felt this way X-Pac could get his win back without Jericho suffering another pinfall job.

WWF Raw Is War 09/25/2000 - WWF World Heavyweight Title: The Rock vs. Chris Benoit (w/Shane McMahon)

Shane is backing in Benoit's corner AWESOME. Shane get’s Rock’s attention allowing Benoit to get in the first shots and kick away at him in a corner. Benoit goes for a whip but Rock reverses into an elbow then goes for his own whip but Benoit reverses that and hits a knee to the chest. Benoit hits a snap suplex for a two count then hits a backbreaker for another two. Benoit distracts the referee while Shane chokes Rock on the middle rope but Rock counters a kick with a Dragon leg-whip and goes into the Sharpshooter. Benoit tries to hold on when Shane comes in and decks Rock before going back out while Benoit covers Rock but only gets a two count. Benoit whips Rock into a corner and beats him down before choking him with his boot. Benoit goes for a whip when Rock reverses him into the opposite corner but misses a right hand. Benoit hits a German suplex then holds on for a second German suplex but Rock fights his way out of a third and hits a DDT for a near fall. Rock comes off the ropes but runs into a neckbreaker and Benoit climbs to the top rope and connects with the diving headbutt but is too hurt to make the cover. Rock fights back and goes for a whip but Benoit reverses and Shane grabs his leg from the floor. Rock takes a swing at Shane, allowing Benoit to nail him from behind. Benoit goes for a whip but Rock reverses and hits a belly-to-belly suplex. Rock covers Benoit but Shane pulls Earl Hebner out of the ring and Hebner yells at Shane on the floor. Hebner climbs on the apron when Rock goes for a whip but Benoit reverses him right into Hebner, knocking him into the barricade. Benoit chops Rock repeatedly in a corner but Rock reverses positions and works him over, capping off with the Smackdown. Shane comes in and clotheslines Rock from behind then dances around when Rock pops right up. Shane takes a swing but Rock blocks it then whips him and plants him with a spienbuster when Benoit comes back with a clothesline. Benoit brings a chair in the ring and takes a swing at Rock but misses him and nails Shane by accident. Benoit charges at Rock but gets backdropped over the ropes and Rock goes out to continue his assault. Stephanie runs in to check on Shane when Triple H comes out warns Stephanie to go back to the locker room. Triple H helps Stephanie roll Shane out to the floor while Rock and Benoit both make their way back in. Benoit goes for a whip but Rock reverses him right into Triple H, knocking him through the ropes. Triple H hops back onto the apron and yells at Benoit for running into him when Benoit takes a swing at him but misses. Triple H snaps Benoit’s neck on the top rope and Benoit staggers into a Rock Bottom that gives Rock the three to retain. Rock celebrates his win while Triple H talks down at Benoit then the two have a staredown. Suddenly Kurt Angle runs in the ring and clotheslines Rock then tries to get a piece of Triple H. Rock comes up but Benoit nails him from behind and helps Angle double-team Rock in a corner. Triple H pulls Angle off and those two duke it out but Angle stomps Triple H down and rips off his shirt. Angle kicks away at Triple H’s taped-up ribs when Stephanie comes in and slaps Angle in the face. Angle asks Stephanie why she did that when Benoit walks over and headbutts Stephanie! Benoit walks off and Angle doesn't look too happy with him while Rock, Triple H and Stephanie are all laid out. ***1/2 Man these two have awesome chemistry it's like they weren't even trying here and it was naturally good.
