Got a big pot of Chili cooking and a fridge full of beer..... Gonna be a long great day of football hopefully topped off with an Irish win!

My picks: Bama over Miss St. 27-10
Florida over Georgia 42-24
Texas Tech over Kansas St. 38-35 (overtime)
Notre Dame over Oklahoma 24-21 (last minute field goal)

Dunno about Tech over K-State. QB is too iffy for me, not to mention the fact that Oklahoma beat up on Texas Tech, but hey anything can happen. Tech's D could hold Optimus Klein.

I think K-State can escape with a win. Won't be a big blow out but they'll get maybe a TD win over Tech.

But I do think Oklahoma has what it takes to really take it to Notre Dame. Just make it nasty.

Florida is on a serious roll and UGA is struggling... Florida humiliates them.

And Bama... well... just give them the win.

I can't wait for the IneligaBowl today.

I'm disappointed that I couldn't grab some tickets but $109 was too rich for my blood this year.

That's actually not too bad, a guy i know said the best he could find was $250, anywho I really like PSU this week (although I despise the team and school in general) Ohio St. has not played anybody and Coach O'Brien has really impressed me

Wow so Slim was way off on most of his predictions so far today. K-State blew out Tech, and Florida and Georgia is close. Damn worrying not about Bama especially with how crazy this day has been for college football.

You got the nasty part right.... just a shame you weren't referring to our defense... Te'o is a BEAST!!! Top five should look like this 1. Bama 2. K State 3. Notre Dame 4. Oregon 5. Florida or LSU
Oregon still has to play USC, Stanford, Oregon St, and probably USC again in the pac12 champ. game so there is definitely a chance they will move up big time

Yeah Oklahoma... you overrated pieces of monkey crap grrrrrrrrrr :p

But yeah the rankings are gonna be Bama, K-State, Notre Dame, Oregon, and I'd say LSU at 5 cause Florida... well it wasn't that pretty of a loss. Florida at 6. But K-State now has a v-line to the national title. They got a couple little games then their last "test" is Texas. But underestimate any of the little games and they could fall like Florida State did to NC State. But I think K-State can do it. Bama is steamrolling everyone so it looks like it'll be Bama vs. K-State right now for the national title.

I say that cause the last big game for Notre Dame is USC and USC isn't doing too well and the lower in the ranks they get the less impressive the win will look if Notre Dame were to win against them. Oregon has a chance to move up to 3 though. They still got a surprising surging Oregon State team and the way Oregon is putting up points... they destroy Oregon state and they are moving up. But K-State is controlling their destiny.

The Top 5, Officially:

1. Alabama
2. Oregon
3. Kansas State
4. Notre Dame
5. LSU

I'm fine with all of them except LSU, but next week that'll change once Alabama puts a spanking on them with the overrated McCarron.

That's the AP poll, the BCS poll announced tomorrow will look different
IF all 4 of Bama, K. State, Oregon, and Notre Dame go undefeated it will be a Bama/Oregon National Title game... the rest of Oregon's schedule is really tough and should provide them with enough to catapult over both K State and Notre Dame....
of course the Irish fan in me hopes Bama and Oregon both lose and we play K State for the championship (pipe dream)

I don't know many people who take the BCS seriously anymore, that's why I posted the AP. They need to get rid of the computers all together and put together a big group of former players/coaches etc. to do the rankings.

The BCS has been a joke for years and every year the complaints roll in but the BCS is raking in so much money and that's why they won't ever get rid of it.

I am glad to see my BCS projection was at least spot on.

But as far as the rest of the year goes... Bama is going undefeated. LSU lacks offense. Oregon has tough games against ranked teams so they can get a jump if they win and win big. Notre Dame is gonna remain at number 3 or even drop to number 4 by the end of the season if they remain undefeated IF K-State wins out since they are already ahead of Notre Dame. But number 5... eh who cares. Would be surprising if Louisville moves up to number 5 at the end of the season finishing off the season undefeated.

Yeah the chances of the Irish in the National Title game aren't looking too good right now... I agree Bama should and probably will go undefeated, K State still has OK ST. and Texas but should probably win both of those, Oregon has the toughest road left but I still don't see a loss.... 4 undefeated teams would be interesting purely for the sake of arguing over who deserves to get beat by Alabama...

At least we're getting a 4 team playoff soon. It's a step in the right direction. Once those playoff games rake in all time high profits, they'll expand it to 8. Hopefully this brings about the demise of the BCS, but it probably won't. As shitty as the BCS is, it creates controversy and buzz.

yeah I'm waiting for 2014 to come... that's when the playoff system is supposed to finally be tried out. Should be a huge boost in ratings too which should bring in huge revenue and make everyone happy.
