TOTAL NONSTOP ACTION
Update: lost interest midway through because the commentary was horseshit. It just was. Striker was really out of it, he seemingly didn't care, and his partner (Carlos Ochoa, I had to look up) had me legitimately considering changing my Worst Commentator award vote. Didn't help that most of the matches I saw from the triple trios match onward either underperformed or were just never meant to be good. Didn't see the Mega Championship 5-way, someone let me know if it was good.

Commentary was dogshit. They were half asleep. Striker isn't usually this unconscious, but it was really poor. They don't mention like 2/3 of the wrestlers and spent a year pretending to be confused over Cibnertico as if that could possibly be him! I was confused by them not mentioning who it was and I started thinking it was El Mesias or something.

Bobby Fish being over was a very welcomed surprise. I hope he starts doing Mexico more often. Rayo de Jalisco tie-in was well-done considering he's unmasked like half of NGD's family. The tag title match being an impromptu ladder match was weird, the obviously rigged table was a silly spot but FTR got over, and that's good. I would accuse the commentary team of giving away the mask spot, but I wonder if they even knew where they were let alone remembered a spot. FTR's first entrance was dead silence, but after bullying Hugo and saying the generic extranjero stuff, they got some heat for their entrance for the match.

Fish, Vikingo got big pops. SDS and Lethal came out to nothing. Vikingo got the win, and a much deserved win too. I was skeptical if they were gonna go with him, but they thankfully did.

7/10 for me.

Just finished this, was solid throughout I thought and really enjoyed the main event. A few matches felt more like house show matches but bot necessarily in a bad way, had good fan involvement. Outside of the main event, the Cibernetico return and Cain/Park stuff was great as well.

Commentary was pretty fucking bad but thankfully I had low expectations since I'd seen the comments and I was honestly expecting worse :lol Striker seemed like he barely knew the talent and just wanted to talk about how cool lucha libre was as a concept all night. I'm also not entirely convinced his partner knows Spanish bc he always dodged answering every time Striker asked him to translate :lol in his defense, some of those times Striker asked him to translate shit that I couldn't even hear so I'm assuming they couldn't either tho

Also I'd advise anyone still planning on watching this to just do Spanish commentary on that note, they literally added nothing in English
