Edge - C.M Punk - Which return did you enjoy more?

So I’ve just watched Punk’s return for about the 5th time.
Goosebumps every time.

I’ve now just watched Edge’s return at the Royal Rumble last year for about the 100th time, still goosebumps.

Edge return was awesome but it's comparing a firecracker to an atom bomb. Cm punk all day , that was a once In a decade pop

While they're both returns, I think given the nature of each return it's hard to compare them directly. One chose to return from the wilderness, one came back from a forced retirement due to injury.

Yeah actually is kinda hard to compare bc Edge also returned in a match and we saw how good of ring shape he was instantly which was more of a concern in his case too, so he shut all the doubters down instantly. Punk's for a bigger reaction for sure tho

For me, I would slightly lean towards Edge.
Mostly because I didn’t think I’d ever see him compete in a wrestling ring again. It was also a genuine surprise and I nearly shit my pants when his music hit.

I marked more on the Edge one, but the dude is my second favorite of all time, and where I heard reports he was coming back, I believed them way way less than Punk so I went batshit when his music hit.

But in the grand scheme of things, I am giving it to Punk off the fact where he could have came back, he didn’t, people chanted his name for years, yeah mainly Chicago, but he would get them other places for a bit. They sold out a basketball stadium on a RUMOR, that’s wild. So slightly Punk edges out Edge.

Anything can be fucked up, but chances are they won’t. I’ll say as of now it’s still Punk for me. But I’ll get back to you in a month or two.
