A number of people within WWE believe that Brian Kendrick will be returning to the company later this year to be involved in the new Cruiserweights project on the WWE Network.

Kendrick was recently released from TNA after being signed to a series of short-term contracts. Kendrick said on his Facebook page this week that he was released after asking to be let go. Kendrick said he wanted more work but TNA wouldn’t give it to him.

Kendrick told the Lowdown Unlimited show this past week that he has kicked the marijuana habit and is open to working for WWE again.

Partial source: PWInsider

Would be happy to see him back in the company if he returns with his THE Brian Kendrick gimmick. Completely reinvented himself and went from a guy that was nothing more than a midcarder to a guy that was near the mainevent. Strange that TNA would bring the guy in and not use him frequently. Would be a very good choice for the Crusierweight show.

If there is going to be a Cruiserweight show, then Brian Kendrick would be a good addition. It's also nice to read he's kicked his marijuana habit.

Come back Kendrick!

I always thought he looked good in the ring hated that he was in the tag division couldn't understand why he never got the cruiserweight belt.

It is good that he finally realised that it isn't worth getting a $2000 fine each time he is caught plus he may have figured it out that he wasn't being pushed because he kept being fined.

THE Brian Kendrick is gonna come back and save Big Zeke's career.

Would be another decent tag team if they went in that direction.

Awesome, I like the sound of that. Was a fan of his when he was THE Brian Kendrick, so it's good to hear he has sorted the marijuana issue out. Didn't even know he had been released by TNA.

Wouldn't mind if he and Zeke were to tag like they did in the past. It'd be nice exposure for the Cruiserweight show if, say, they had a title, Kendrick was the champ, and he'd bring it with him to Raw or Smackdown when tagging with Zeke.

I think everyone marked the shit out when he won the title in the scramble match a few yrs back, he hasn't done shit since though. Wouldn't mind him back, theres a lot a smaller guys in the main event he could have good matches with.

I've never been a big fan of him, I only really saw him in TNA and found him boring and annoying

I was one of those that marked out when he got the pin. After that he started getting fined a lot for smoking pot so WWE decided to stop pushing him.

This is pretty cool news. I've never been a huge mark for Kendrick but I respect and like the guy a lot. it's also good that he kicked the habit so overall it sounds exciting. There goes the Kendrick- Bourne tag team jokes though.
