My thought process going into the very first induction was to have a headliner, a secondary and a legacy induction, but the votes were so close I can't leave it at that, why not throw up the four fingers and have two headliners and two legacy inductions. This class has earned it.
And don't fret if you didn't make it, you're show-ins.
This year's Hall of Fame Class consists of Professor Booty and Karl Smarx!

Without Professor Booty there would be no Wrestling Smarks, at least not the version you see today. For you see I met Jake a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. We immediately hit it off as I registered on another forum he was on under the username Scott Hall and anyone that knows Jake knows he's a huge Scott Hall fan just like I am. We eventually formed social groups on this forum, his named LXG and mine Immortal after the TNA faction. Yes, we geeks on a wrestling forum that participating in forum stables. LXG bonded us as well as a few other friends such as a dear Swamps, Postman Dave, Troy.
It was Booty and Troy that wanted to make an LXG forum so I started up a forum to be run by us and for general entertainment. As such Pulse and soon to be Wrestling Punks was born. Booty was a stern, but loyal member of ours for years and without his blood, sweat and sometimes tears, I wouldn't be here.
Before long we renamed Pulse into Wrestling Punks when it became clear the number one thing we all had in common was still wrestling. Jake was always super knowledgeable about old school wrestling and tag team wrestling and kicked ass when it came to fantasy booking his shit.
You don't make many true friends in the forum world, but Jake has been a true gentlemen and a scholar and to see him return to help us evolve into this next decade is an honor. Please do me the privilege of welcoming one of the coolest peeps I've ever met online to the 2020 Hall of Fame.

It's kind of hard to honor yourself and sound humble. Maybe I should've asked for this to be written by someone else and feel free to if you'd like. In the meantime, there's not much to say. I've been a member of Pulse since I founded it in 2010 and I've been member of Impact Wrestling Forums since 2010 as well. IWF was merged with Smarks in 2013 so I've been a member of the WS Community for at least 7 years now as well. I was too busy with Punks to stop by, but I always admired this site.
Which is why I immediately jumped into action and felt around for Twitchy's contact info when I found out WS went dark. It took me a month of negotiations, but I was eventually able to buy WS and bring it back online. This place had a history worth preserving and once I had two forums it was a natural conclusion to merge them together and I feel that decision is what's led to use still being here and thriving and hopefully everyone loves it here and we continue to build its legacy into 2021.
With Fab and Fuji Vice completing the 2020 inductions!

What can I say about my pal Fuji Vice. Fuji popped onto the scene shortly before everyone migrated to Pulse and become a huge hit with LXG. He was a huge part of the initial jump over here and helped get the site setup and establish a team and worked tirelessly to make this place a great place to discuss.
When Pulse started up and needed an administrator he took to the task like a man who was destined to lead and helped shaped this forum for years. Without his hard work and sacrifice there wouldn't be much to look at today. His wit was engaging and his reviews were a huge hit. A true life of the party.
The years we used to just chat about life, television, sports, horror movies, James Bond, the happenings of the world, our live movie watches and whatnot were always a blast. It's been an honor knowing you. I do hope we see more of you in the coming years, but in the meantime you've more than earned his.
Any site would be lucky to have such a good man and entrepreneur on their team and the countless hours we read your Fujifilm reviews were always a hoot and a half and you were a man who knew your wrestling history. It is a great privilege to ask this forum to welcome him into the first Hall of Fame.

Long before Ben and Troy got together to make TWC and WS one mega forum, Fab was die hard admin for TWC. No one's been on staff for as long or worked as much to establish this place as much Fab did. Fab was a man of the people. Always giving us women of the world threads to ogle.
Churning out full year reviews of WWF and other various wrestling promotions. Fab gave us endless gifs to enjoy and most of the smiles you enjoy to this day were the product of a Fab upload. You have to much thank this man for and he never asked for much in return.
Fab embodied a captain who went down with the ship and stuck around for the dark times when they had what they called triple thread live discussions and numerous ownership changes that caused immense headaches backstage as they constantly wanted to change the staff around.
Even when certain Admins decided to strip him and his compatriots of their admin status, Fab stayed true to the brand and eventually came back when I needed him to help me steer the ship right and make sure it didn't die on my watch. He may be a part-timer these days, but he's earned it.
Fab is the real definition of a legacy and he has earned hsi retired from active staffing and can sip his piña colada on the beach knowing his spot here is always kept warm from him with his legacy badge and Hall of Fame medals waiting to be shined for him. Please welcome him to the Hall of Fame.

You've all more than earned this.
Everyone congratulate your 2020 and first-ever class.
