I mean yeah, it is kind of dumb, I do wish they have one person from each team in there at a time, do it like a real triple thread already.

Would prefer that normally, but with this being Extreme Rules I really just want some kind of tornado rules

I just don't like the gimmick where one or two teams gotta be on the apron during multi-team matches...I don't even care about logic or the rules, they're just boring to me until they say fuck it and all the teams get in the ring anyway lmao

The primary reason it's done is to avoid making wrestlers look even stupider where they spent the majority of their time in tornado rules matches powdering on the outside. Even when they're allowed in the ring, wrestling matches still want to spend most of the time between only two people. I think there's a 4-way match for the US Title when Cena was champion is the most egregious example of this happening. At several points Rene Dupree is just standing outside waiting for a guy to powder so he can roll in.

It's a good match IIRC, but it's plainly obvious guys powder outside and then just stand around. They don't even sell being hurt. They're just waiting for their cue to replace the next guy who powders.

It was pretty meh but not bad or anything but it made sense bc Booker and Rene were heels and just kept leaving the ring to make RVD and Cena fight each other until they could try and sneak the victory. Booking made sense, just didn't make for a very entertaining match
