AEW Double or Nothing Discussion Thread

AEW was super tight tonight and the discussion was great. I had a blast. I call that a success.

We should definitely make AEW discussions a regular thing. Maybe we can throw in some other shows too.

I could probably try out Honor Club if other people want to give their next PPV a try. I saw a thread was made.

I would recommend NJPW World if anything. I think the general consensus is that ROH isn't really at it's best right now and Honor Club is not as good of a service as NJPW World.

Plus I already have NJPW World.

I just rewatched the ending since my stream cut out right when Moxley was coming through the crowd too and I can't believe I'm actually excited for a Moxley/Omega match of all people

Nah, I said ages ago I didn't expect it to be CM Punk, but if you're gonna get a get, it can't be a guy no one cares about.

We've been ragging on Ambrose for so long, it'll take a lot for me to care about him again.

I mean I feel that but who else could a big "get" be if not punk or Moxley? Shit ain't much to choose from lmao

It's mostly about getting live discussions together. I'm not sure how many people here would be around for a New Japan discussion when their shows would typically start at 2 in the morning or so ET. I mean I'd possibly consider it if there's interest. We do have an ROH PPV thread up though so if people will watch it, I'll be there for it. So more AEW, ROH, NJPW whatever will draw. I'll try to be there.

He needs to abandon everything that was Ambrose though. Especially those jeans and wife-beaters. Go back to jackets and trunks.

It's hard to say.

I probably would have just announced Mox before the PPV so it was just a roster announcement and not a PPV surprise.

There are a few gets I could think of if I thought about it for a bit. The biggest thing about Mox is just that he just came off WWE TV.

That you did. I forgot. I still think the time difference would make it hard to get a crew on for a discussion. I'd probably pay for ROH because I always said I'd pay if they made a reasonable way to see it, but you should be able to make it if I found you a stream.

Disagree 100%. Headlock Driver is just a bulldog DDT.

That said, he didn't use that before WWE either. He can go back to his Chicken Wing Facebuster or whatever.

That Double Arm DDT is God awful, though.

One thing I also liked about that main event it's that they still protectedt he one winged angel by not having Omega hit it so Jericho never had to kick out
