WWE NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS LIVE ON PPV
SUNDAY 16TH SEPTEMBER
BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS

night-of-champions-2012.jpg

In what is rapidy becoming a September tradition, Night of Champions returns to WWE PPV. The only show of the year in which EVERY championship must be defended, that means all champions from CM Punk & Sheamus to Antonio Cesaro & Layla must put their gold on the line. Previous years highlights have included Jeff Hardy defeating CM Punk for the WWE Championship, Randy Orton defeating Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Championship and last year saw John Cena knock off Alberto Del Rio and Mark Henry defeat Randy Orton to win their brands respective World titles. Which straps will change hands this year?

Sheamus vs.ADR pt 1,455,678 added. Has there ever been a feud that so few care about that has gone on sooo long.

Think about it. ADR first won a no.1 contenders match before Extreme Rules, but Daniel Bryan got the title shot instead(presumably to capitalise on DB's sudden overness), they were gonna have one on one matches at OTL & NWO but both were changed for varying reasons.

This feud has gone on long enough without Del Rio getting a win.

Del Rio just beat Orton clean by submission on Smackdown. He better win the title now.

My guess is Del Rio wins, then loses the title to Orton and then Orton will be only the second person to lose in a MITB cash-in twice.

Maybe I'm missing something but what do you mean Orton will only be the second person to lose in a MITB twice?

Yeah I thought that would be figured out. We would see the two long-rumoured feuds between Orton and Del Rio and Orton and Ziggler.

Ah, you didn't say lose twice in a MITB cash-in. Although that would inaccurate as Cena has been cashed in on more than once.

I've read it and it still doesn't make much sense to me.
I said Orton would only be the second person to lose twice in a MITB cash-in.

You didn't say cash-in, but that aside, you should have been more clear... that sentence made no sense!

Yeah I forgot to put in cash-in but I did note that there was another person to lose twice as well. It still might not happen but we all know WWE is planning Orton to feud against ADR and Ziggler so I think it's pretty logical. ADR losing to Ziggler would make ADR look bad seeing how sloppy he has been this year and neither of them should turn face. Orton losing would just start what would be a potential feud of the year.

I would love to see Orton and Ziggler feud but I think they should feud before Ziggler cashes in, right now Ziggler is booked like a joke. He needs to IMO to come off a strong program before the fans can take him seriously as the champion. I'd like to see him hold off until Survivor Series.

I think a Team Orton vs. Team Ziggler SS Match would be money in the bank!

Yeah in my mind that would be right time for that feud. I think Rey Mysterio would be the perfect stepping stone. Look at what happened to CM Punk last year.
