Oh yeah, I’m 100% in agreement he shouldn’t have slapped him. I’m not gonna down him for it since I can’t say I probably wouldn’t have done it also, cause like I said when someone upsets your S/O, sometimes you act out and do stuff you probably know you shouldn’t, which seems to be the case here since he laughed at first til he saw it upset her. Which is why I think he apologized as he realized he was wrong to do so.
I don't think anyone has even said they think Will was in the right either on here 
it's kinda like the Cain situation for a poor comparison, we all agree he technically is in the wrong but like...we get it too lol
I'm just amazed at how the two sides formed so swiftly lol I've seen everything from Will Smith is only being vilified bc he's black to comedy will never be the same again because everyone is about to be slapping comedians some people are campaigning for Will to lose his Oscar, others are screaming about Harvey Weistein should have his taken away too like bruh lol Chris Rock ain't pressing charges and Will apologized, its not that serious
