Where are people at on the Roman story?

I love Roman and this storyline. I firmly believe this is the best he’s ever been and this is probably the best storyline in WWE over the last year. Too bad they can’t do with the every other fucking superstar they have but whatever. At Survivor Series, he’s gonna face the Raw champ, have a filler match in December, face Drew at the Rumble, have a filler match at Elimination Chamber, and god willing face Rock at Mania

Obviously it’s gonna be Roman and E at Survivor Series.

December to February really doesn’t matter to WWE in terms of who challenges for the belts. So Jeff Hardy will probably get the match at Rumble. EC could be a rehash of last year where Roman defends against the winner that night. If not, Drew probably wins and becomes Number One contender leading into Mania.

The match with Rock is what WWE wants but I’m not 100% sure it’s happening. Ive been saying for months that Drew is a fine second option.

As for the OP; how much am I enjoying this? I love it. Roman is on another level right now. Not just in WWE but in wrestling as a whole. Who would’ve thought just letting someone be themselves would work?

But @Deezy is right; Roman is going to end up being a badass babyface within the next year or so. Which isn’t a bad thing. But the heel turn has made for great television

Lashley & THB would be pretty sick but i'm still convinced it's Rock or Brock. I'm not even convinced Rock would go over though given his scheduling

From my understanding, The Rock isn't filming around Wrestlemania this upcoming year. I think he is taking a break from filming for a bit. I'm trying to remember where I heard that, but I know it was one of the podcasts I listen to.

Just with how weak the Smackdown roster is, Mania is the best chance and place for Roman to lose, and it NEEDS to be to an active full time guy who can use the rub. Losing to Rock or Brock is dumb, IMO. Does zero for them, but someone else who is active and needing that moment, they are a made man by beating Roman. So I don’t wanna see Roman vs Rock tbh.

I watched Smackdown this Friday and I gotta say they've done a great job of making Roman feel like a big deal. I just think it's a lame story because for years it was Brock that was the monster and Roman was trying to take him down and now they are acting like Brock is the underdog or something.

I love this heel Roman run so far, but I have a feeling it is starting to slowly getting stale. Having him against people like Brock Lesnar or The Rock would probably help keeping the momentum going.
