Finished watching Raw Deal (1948), a crime thriller. Joe (Dennis O'Keefe) has taken the rap for a crime he didn't commit and decides to get even on his former mob colleague Rick, played by a young Raymond Burr. Marsha Hunt is magnetic as a social worker who's trying to lead Joe on the straight and narrow path.

Good movie but there's no mention of what crime Joe was innocent of which made him want to seek revenge on the mob.

Okay...so...I've watched a few films since I last
posted in this thread.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001)

The acting is a bit painful...

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002)

The Basilisk was pretty cool...

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
My personal favorite...

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)

"The one with Shovel face"

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007)
The Voldemort/Dumbledore duel was pretty awesome...

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)

Dumbledore...NO!!!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt.1 (2010)
This one feels like filler...

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt.2 (2011)

It all ends here...and a lot of people die...

Annabelle: Creation (2017)
It was okay I guess...

Ugh...and I'm done...

It's a little slow at the beggining but it gets interesting. Lots of occult symbolism and hints of what goes on behind closed doors of the elite.
I forgot about this movie. I will have to rewatch it eventually. I swear Tom went nuts after being in it. He did a gradual change over the 4ish years following it. Likely was introduced to Scientology shortly after the movie was filmed.
