Fuji Vice

Hall of Famer
I see them now and I have to say, wherever Adam Sandler ends up on the list, it will be a travesty that he's ranked higher than almost all of the HM's. Unless of course he didn't make the list at all, which would make me very, very happy.

The List

So with all the votes tallied up here we go:

20

Peter Sellers

Peter-Sellers.jpg

What can we say about Peter Sellers? This guy has inspired so many others and has been impersonated by many as Inspector Cleaseau. Cleaseau was probably his most well known character but has portrayed many in his career. He even donned the James Bond character in the original Casino Royale, Dr. Stangelove (along with 2 other characters in that film, did that before Eddie Murphey did it). Sellers we thank you for your years of dedicated service and put you in at number 20.

19

Broken Lizard

Broken Lizard has brought us some very funny films. Super Troopers, Club Dread, Beerfest, along with starring in many other films like the horrible Dukes of Hazzard, in tv shows, Blue Mountain State, Royal Pains, Chuck, and Undeclared. So in honor of this we salute you Lizard Man at number 19.

18

Vince Vaughn

Vince Vaughn dazzles us in Wedding Crashers, broke up with Jennifer Anniston, had a huge Dilema with his friends wife, was the horrible brother of everyone's favorite christmas guy as Fred Claus, was a dodgeball hero, was Psycho Norman Bates, and was chased by large dinosaurs in the Lost World.
Thank You Vince, You made number 18.

Tie for 16

Adam Sandler

Adam-Sandler.jpg

Adam Sandler has put forth some comedy gems but has been coming up flat for a few years. At one time if you saw Sandlers name on it, it would have been instant success now a little different. It started with him going overboard, to going back to school as a drunken idiot and wanting to touch Miss. Veronica Vauns hiney, a hockey player turned golf attraction with a douche shooter, he stuttered his way through two movies about a waterboy and the devils son (also Reece Witherspoons), he made a few tackles to get the longest yard, he had 50 first dates with Drew Barrymore. This lost goes on and on. I think you get the point. (Now Fuji is pissed). He gets a tie with another person who has suffered the same as Sandler has.

Eddie Murphy

eddie.jpg

Eddie, Eddie, Eddie please go back to doing what you started doing and that was good movies that were fun to watch. I think you still have it in you but you keep giving us stuff like Pluto Nash and Dave, we want to look at your better stuff. Not only has Eddie done comedy he did Action and Animated movies and has succeeded at all of them at one point or another, Eddie has also done very well doing multiple people in films also. Eddie dazzled us as Axl Foley, he did some stand up, he was on SNL and portrayed Buckwheat, he was Coming to America, he was in the search for the Golden Child, He was a nutty professor, he was Haunted in his Mansion, he said a certain ogre had bad breath and needed a tic tac in Shrek. Eddie has done a lot to be proud of and has done some things that I think we all want to forget, but at least he made the list. So Eddie you tied for number 16 as so it seems the two of you have similar career paths.

Come back tomorrow for numbers 15-11.

Erm, not as bullshit as Sellers being number 20...and Sandler even being on this list is an embarrassment.

I was actually awaiting the Fuji hate of Sandler making the list but at least he is not in the top 15 which was what we originally had it set up for.

Sadly, a lot of those are mine. :(

another problem I had with choosing people is that while I find guys like Chris Rock very funny, he's more renowned for his stand up than his acting, hell I struggle to think of many memorable film roles he's had.
