Commentary announces a HUGE main event in AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe vs Robert Roode vs Kurt Angle, PLUS Rob Van Dam will be in action TONIGHT!

A short compilation of some recent Xplosion matches in which Doug Williams can beat both members of Los Infernales cleanly, yet the Redcoats can’t beat the tag team plays.

Match 1: The Redcoats vs Los Infernales w/ Volador
Doug Williams insists on starting the match, and he delivers THE PAIN~ with his stiff knees. Mephisto and Averno eventually gain the advantage with their teamwork, so Williams has no choice but to tag out to Taylor. He holds his own with submission moves, and he wears down Averno to the point that he and Williams get some nice tags going to isolate him. When Taylor goes for his double underhook suplex, Averno rolls up and counters with a hurricanrana, then makes the hot tag! Mephisto cleans house and hits a standing moonsault on Taylor! ONE! TWO! THRE – Williams breaks it up! Averno springboards into the ring and takes Williams out with a seated senton! Mephisto picks Taylor up and nails him with the Demon Driller (Michinoku drive)! ONE! TWO! THREE!

Doug Williams gets in the ring and looks pissed off at Dave Taylor.

--Commercial Break--

Doug Williams goes into Mick Foley’s office and says he’s pissed off that he can’t beat Los Infernales in a tag team match, even though he obviously can beat them both in singles matches. Foley says if he can find another tag team partner, he can have Los Infernales in a tag team match at No Surrender. Williams says he was hoping he’d say that, because he has somebody in mind . . .

Match 2: Jay Lethal w/ Creed vs Tomko w/ Rhino
Like last week, another big man versus little man, except that Lethal is better than Creed and Tomko is better than Rhino, so this is much better. Lethal manages to finally knock Tomko down after TWO top-rope missile dropkicks, but he only gets a two-count out of it. He tries to stay on him to keep him down, but Tomko fights back with big punches, and then throws Lethal into the corner. He charges with a shoulder block, but Lethal jumps above him, then grabs a sunset flip! ONE! TWO! THR – Tomko kicks out and IMMEDITALY kills Lethal with a huge lariat. He picks him up for the Argentine neckbreaker, but Lethal floats over. He runs off the ropes, but Rhino trips him up and he stumbles right into the BIG BOOT~! ONE! TWO! THREE!

Creed runs around the outside of the ring and starts laying into Rhino, but Tomko slides out and tosses him into the barricade. Rhino and Tomko stomp away at Creed, but Lethal is up and climbs to the top rope. He jumps off with a crossbody, but Tomko catches him and plants him on the outside with a body slam! Rhino and Tomko celebrate up the ramp as the Negroes recover on the outside

Mike Tenay announces that at No Surrender we will see Los Infernales vs Doug Williams and . . . NIGEL MCGUINESS~! ZOMG!

The Main Event Mafia are in their locker room, and Waltman says he has to go get ready for his match up next, and Angle and Nash say they need to leave to go discuss some business, leaving Steiner, Booker T, and Sharmell behind.

Match 3: Low Ki/Homicide/Tyson Dux vs Sean Waltman/Christopher Daniels/Elix Skipper
Fun cruiser-weight action with lots of high-flying and MOVES~. Tyson Dux clearly steps up big time here and he does a great job at first, but eventually Daniels and Skipper start to cheat together in order to isolate him. There’s clearly trust issues between Daniels and Waltman, so the champion only gets in when he forces his way in. He works over Dux for a bit, but a miscommunication between he and Daniels eventually allows for Dux to tag in Low Ki. He comes in and cleans house, and when Daniels and Skipper refuse to exit to the apron, Homicide comes in as well and starts laying people out. In all the hubbub, the ref doesn’t see Waltman kick Low Ki in the balls! He sets him up for the Comedown, but Homicide rushes over and connects with the 187! YES! Low Ki staggers to the top rope! GHETTO STOMP! He covers the champion, ONE! TWO! THREE!

The faces celebrate in the ring.

Backstage, Petey Williams and Eric Young walk up to the MEM locker room and knock on the door. Sharmell opens it slightly to peer out, and Team Canada bust in! They leap on Steiner and Booker T on the sofa and lay into them! Sharmell runs out to get help as Team Canada continues the beatdown. Security finally arrives and breaks up the fight.

Roxxi Laveaux finds Daisy Haze backstage and congratulates her on earning a non-title singles match against Angelina Love next week on iMPACT.

Match 4: America’s Most Wanted vs Shark Boy/Chad Collyer [Non-Title]
This is a nice showcase for the tag team champions, but at least Shark Boy gets to hit his signature moves and Collyer gets to show off some unique submission maneuvers. Shark Boy ends up getting hit with the Death Sentence and that ends it.
Winners via pinfall: America’s Most Wanted (3:19)

The Motor City Machineguns come out and say that they’re not going to attack AMW from behind, like they did last week. They say that they’ll save the punishment for No Surrender, when they put out these Brokeback cowboys and take the titles that they’ve wanted for so long.

Footage of Rob Van Dam’s TNA debut plays, along with highlights of last week’s segment that put together the RVD/Sabu vs Rock/Rave vs Abyss/Morgan vs Raven/Kaz match for No Surrender.

Match 5: Rob Van Dam w/ Sabu vs Alex Koslov w/ The Axis Powers
The crowd is really super hot for RVD, and he plays it up at the start with a big rush of offense. He hits the double corner thrusts then does a back flip before hitting the final one, then he heads up top for a moonsault. Kiyoshi jumps up onto the apron, distracting Van Dam long enough for Koslov to knock him into the tree-of-woe position. He works him down for a bit, but RVD fights back after a windmill kick! He backs up and hits the Rolling Thunder! Koslov stumbles to his feet holding his gut, and he eats a big spin kick! RVD jumps to the top rope and signals for his finisher! FIVE! STAR! FROG SPLASH!! ONE! TWO! THREE!
Winner via pinfall: Rob Van Dam (4:59)

The Axis powers pull Koslov out of the ring and escape up the ramp. RVD celebrates in the ring, until Raven and Frankie Kazarian run down to attack! This draws out Rock N Rave, which then draws out Abyss and Matt Morgan! All four teams brawl around the ring until security can split them all up.

Kurt Angle and Kevin Nash are backstage. Angle confides that he will have no problem beating AJ Styles in the first round of the tournament, but that he honestly does not want to have to face Samoa Joe in the second round. Nash tells him to take care of Joe, and he will personally go talk to Robert Roode about an Angle/Roode final, and what could be in store for Roode if he were to lay down.

Christian Cage comes down in his referee shirt to a mixed reaction.

Match 6: AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe vs Kurt Angle vs Robert Roode [Special guest referee: Christian Cage]
Robert Roode gives Kurt Angle a wink at the beginning of the match, and Angle smiles and then the two start attacking Samoa Joe. AJ Styles tries to get involved, but Roode low-bridges him and sends him to the outside. They go back to Joe and almost immediately start targeting his leg with stomps and elbows. Joe tries to fight back, but the numbers game is too much. Roode locks the figure four in on Joe as Angle continues stomping away, but Styles springboards into the ring and takes Angle out with an elbow smash! Roode lets go off the hold, but immediately gets sent out of the ring by a dropkick from Styles. Angle and Styles go back-and-forth, but when Styles goes for the Styles Clash, Roode pulls him to the outside. Angle turns around right into a flurry of chops from Joe! He picks him up for the Muscle Buster, but Angle slides over and rolls to the outside. Joe winds up and sprints to the ropes, and takes Angle out with a suicide dive!

We get back and Roode is using the ropes to choke out Styles to the point that Christian has to physically pull him off, and they get in a verbal spat. With Roode distracted, Styles rolls him up from behind! ONE! TWO! THRE – Roode kicks out! Styles goes for his moonsault from the corner into a reverse DDT, but Roode pushes him away and then connects with the Northern Lariat for a long two-count. He gets up and Joe immediately starts laying into him with big elbows. They go back-and-forth until Roode goes for the Payoff, but Joe powers out. He picks Roode up for the Muscle Buster, but Angle is in and chop blocks Joe. The heels go to work on Joe’s leg, but then Roode goes off and works over Styles. Joe and Angle spill to the outside, while Roode and Styles continue their face-off in the ring. Styles finally gets off his moonsault reverse DDT then goes up to the top turnbuckle, BUT ANGLE IS UP ON THE APRON AND SHOVES AJ STYLES TO THE HARD GROUND OUTSIDE!! Angle slides in the ring to check on Roode, but Joe is behind him! He grabs his neck and goes for the Coquina Clutch, but Angle slides around and fights him into the ankle lock! Joe writhes around, but he powers up AND PUTS ANGLE INTO THE ANKLE LOCK! Angle tries to get to the ropes, but Joe pulls him to the center. Angle looks to be about to tap, BUT ROBERT ROODE NAILS HIM WITH A STEEL CHAIR!! Christian Cage throws Robert Roode out of the match, but he refuses to leave, so Cage tosses him out! Back in the ring, Angle crawls over and covers Joe! ONE! TWO! THRE – JOE KICKS OUT! Angle is irate, but he quickly picks up Joe and hits the Olympic Slam! ONE! TWO! THREE!
Winner via pinfall: Kurt Angle (15:22)

Robert Roode slides back in with the steel chair and celebrates with Kurt Angle, as he signals for the world title. Roode puts the steel chairs around Joe’s kneecap and goes to the top rope, but AJ Styles climbs to the apron and tackles him off to the ground below where they continue brawling! Angle looks at the outside, but then turns around to get back to Joe, but he walks right into an Unprettier!! Cage holds up his title, but the lights go out! When they come back on, STING IS IN THE RING! Christian tries to attack him with his title belt, but Sting ducks, and connects with the Scorpion Death Drop! Sting picks up the TNA Championship and holds it in the air as the show fades to a close.

Commentary welcomes us to No Surrender and hypes up the Bound For Glory tournament, Sting/Christian, and the four-team tag match.

Match 1: Tomko/Rhino vs 2 Crazy Negroes
This is a formulaic tag match, with the bigger guys taking turns throwing around the smaller guys. The Negroes get a nice stretch of momentum in, but then Tomko destroys Creed with a big boot. He and Rhino isolate him for a bit, but he eventually dodges a Gore, sending Rhino into the steel post. He makes the hot tag, and Lethal cleans house with a series of dropkicks. He goes for the Lethal Combination on Tomko, but Tomko pushes him away right into a Gore! Creed tries to break it up, but Tomko cuts him off, letting Rhino get the three-count.
Winners via pinfall: Tomko/Rhino (8:39)

The 2 Crazy Negroes look frustrated as they slowly head to the back.

Rob Van Dam and Sabu arrive backstage, and the Philadelphia crowd goes batshit.

Match 2: Doug Williams/Nigel McGuiness vs Los Infernales [ROH Invitational]
Williams goes crazy with his knees, driving Averno to the outside of the ring. He and McGuiness toss him around outside until Mephisto takes them out with a no-handed suicide dive! They brawl a bit on the outside until Averno hits a hurricanrana on Williams then rolls him inside for a two-count. Averno gets in and goes LUCHA~ crazy, but when he goes up top, Williams crotches him and tags in McGuiness. They isolate Averno for a while, and Williams is especially fiery. The lucha almost gets the hot tag, but Williams runs over and knees Mephisto right in the face to knock him down. McGuiness hits the Tower of London on Averno, and then Williams goes up top and hits the Bombs Away for the win.

Mick Foley finds Daisy Haze backstage and tells her that if she beats Angelina Love in the non-title match at iMPACT, she will have earned herself a title shot on the near future.

Match 3: Samoa Joe vs Robert Roode [Bound For Glory Tournament Semi-Finals]
They start off on the mat and Roode actually holds his own for a little while by exploiting the leg that he and Angle attacked on iMPACT, but then Joe starts to take control. Roode tries to create space, but Joe doesn’t let up, so eventually he rolls to the outside. Joe follows him out and the two brawl around the outside a bit, but when Roode drop toe holds Joe into the ring steps, he takes over. He continues some neck work inside the ring, but Joe fights out with his power. Things go back-and-forth for a while, with Roode really only getting a break after cheap tricks, but he does show a fine amount of expertise when he has the advantage. Roode catches his big break when Joe goes for an enzuigiri on the outside, but Roode ducks, and Joe kicks the steel post. Roode follows up with some vicious legwork, and from that point on it gets visibly harder and harder for Joe to fight back. Roode eventually goes for the Roode Awakening, but Joe proves to be too heavy, and pushes Roode away, and catches him off the rebound with a snap powerslam. Joe signals for the end and goes for the Muscle Buster, but his leg gives out under him! He stumbles around the ring as Roode bounces off the ropes, and connects with the NORTHERN LARIAT! ONE! TWO! THRE – JOE KICKS OUT! Roode quickly goes for the Payoff, but Joe pushes him away and then explodes with a German suplex! ONE! TWO! THR – Roode kicks out! Joe measures Roode up and when he gets in his feet, he grabs him by the neck for the Coquina Clutch! Before he can take him down though, Roode kicks in his weak leg, forcing him to let go. Joe doubles over and Roode hits the Payoff! But Joe’s leg is under the bottom rope! Roode drags him to the middle of the ring and covers! ONE! TWO! THRE – JOE KICKS OUT! Roode gets pissed off and starts choking Joe out until the ref pulls him off. He then tosses Joe into the corner and picks him up for what seems to be the Muscle Buster, but Joe fights down! He then starts chopping the hell out of Roode, and then stomping him like crazy on the mat! He traps Roode’s arms behind the bottom rope and begins punching his unprotected face! HE’S SNAPPED~! The ref pulls him off, so Joe waits a second, but then goes right back to it, busting Roode open! The ref pulls Joe off and tells him to lay off, then goes to check on Roode. As he’s checking out the cut under Roode’s eye, SOME DOOD IN THE FRONT ROW WITH A STING MASK ON JUMPS THE BARRICADE! HE GRABS SOMETHING FROM RINGSIDE! IT’S A STEEL PIPE! WTF! He rushes into the ring and NAILS a completely unaware Samoa Joe in the back of the head, then escapes up the ramp! He pulls of the mask AND IT’S KURT ANGLE! Roode looks stunned by what just happened behind the ref’s back, but he scurries over and covers Joe! The ref looks confused, but has no choice but to count! ONE! TWO! NOT THIS WAY!!! THRE – JOE KICKS OUT!!! Roode quickly picks up Joe and hits the Payoff! ONE! TWO! THREE!!!!!!!!

Robert Roode gets up and looks absolutely stunned at his victory. He sees Kurt Angle escaping up the ramp and gets a huge grin on his face.

Christian Cage runs into Rhino and Tomko backstage and congratulates them, then tells them get ready to be in his corner tonight.

Kevin Nash finds Robert Roode backstage and tells him that he knows what to do when he faces Kurt Angle later tonight. Nash walks off, leaving Roode alone to think about things.

Match 4: Kurt Angle vs AJ Styles [Bound For Glory Tournament Semi-Finals]
The crowd has record-level heat for Kurt Angle right now, and it actually gets to him at first, and Styles is able to out-perform him on the mat. He rolls to the outside to regroup and finally gets back in the zone and reenters the ring. He starts to find his edge against Styles on the mat, but all of a sudden Low Ki runs down! Security rushes down and pulls him to the back, but it’s enough to get Angle distracted and walk right into a big dropkick from Styles. AJ keeps up his offense, but when he goes for a springboard elbow, Angle ducks and the chops at his ankle from behind. He keeps on the ankle work and goes for an early ankle lock, but Styles grabs an inside cradle for a nearfall. Angle tosses Styles to the outside and follows him out, but Homicide rushes out! Angle slides into the ring to avoid him until some officials run out and force him to the back. Angle cautiously returns to the outside, but Styles surprises him with a kip-up frankensteiner. He runs back into the ring and then dives through and takes Angle out with a suicide dive! He rolls him back in for a two-count, and then goes to work over Angle’s neck. He picks him up for a Brainbuster, but Angle holds his weight and then goes to the eyes. Styles counter with a discus clothesline, but Angle ducks and goes for a German suplex. Styles tries to flip through, but he lands on his ankle and it gives out, allowing for Angle to pounce on it. He really targets it aggressively, using the ring post at his disposal as well. He pulls down and locks in the ankle lock, but Styles grabs the ropes pretty quickly. Angle drags him to the middle, but Styles pulls him down with an arm drag, and then attacks him with grounded elbows. He fights to his feet and limps over to pick Angle up, but Angle gets in a surprise Olympic Slam! ONE! TWO! THRE – Styles gets a foot on the rope! He drags Styles to the middle of the ring and fights in the ankle lock! Several times Styles nearly makes to the ropes, but Angle keeps pulling him to the center, and finally grapevines it! Styles tries to claw his way to the ropes, but at several points he looks to be about to tap. With one final push, he makes it to the bottom rope! He crawls up in the corner, but Angle charges at him. Styles rolls out of the way, and Angle hits the ring post! Styles limps over and climbs up to he second rope, then pushes off with his good leg and plants Angle with a high-angle DDT! ONE! TWO! THRE – ANGLE KICKS OUT! Styles climbs as quick as he can to the top rope, but Angle has time to get up and rush up to the top as well! He tries for a super belly-to-belly, but Styles elbows him off! He rears up! FROG SPLASH! NO! ANGLE ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY!!! Angle teeters up to his feet and puts to the top turnbuckle. He slowly climbs up and turns around to face away from the ring. He gets ready to jump off, but all of a sudden, Homicide and Low start to come out again, this time with security trying to hold them back the entire way! They toss some off, but eventually the vast number of officials manage to contain them and force them to the back. In all the hubbub, Angle got so distracted, that he failed to see Styles fight to his feet! He gets in behind Angle and nails him with a powerbomb! ONE! TWO THRE – ANGLE KICKS OUT!!!! Styles tries to pick Angle up for the Styles Clash, but his ankle gives out, and he flops to the mat. Both Angle and Styles fight to their feet, trading elbows up the entire way. Styles eventually gains an edge and gets off a big discus elbow! ONE! TWO! THRE – Angle kicks out! Styles quickly gets up and climbs to the top rope as fast as he can. He signals for the end and leaps off for the Styles Clash, BUT HIS HURT ANKLE PREVENTS HIM FROM GETTING ENOUGH DISTANCE AND HE CRASHES ONTO THE MAT WITHOUT EVEN MAKING IT TO ANGLE! HE FOLDS UP LIKE AN ACCORDION! HE’S DEAD! BAH GAWD! HE’S KILLED HIMSELF! Angle very slowly comes to his sense and sees Styles laid out, so he crawls over and drapes an arm across! ONE! TWO! THRE – NO! WHAT! AJ STYLES KICKS OUT! Angle can’t believe it. He uses the ropes to help himself up, and he takes down his straps once more. He starts to walk over to Styles, but all of a sudden . . . Homicide and Low Ki come out again, and this time they have motionless security guards around them! They each have one draped across their shoulders and then they’re both dragging a few by their feet behind them! Its badass, folks! They have menacing looks on their faces, and Angle looks scared out of his mind. But they both stop at the entrance ramp. That is, until Samoa Fucking Joe comes out with fucking three motionless security guards over his shoulders! YES! They all toss the officials to the side and slowly make their way down to the ring. They surround the ring, but don’t get in. Angle is scared shitless and tells the ref to do something, but he says to focus on the match. Speaking of the match, STYLES GETS ANGLE WITH A ROLL UP! ONE! TWO! THREEE!!!!!
Winner via pinfall: AJ Styles (23:39)

Samoa Joe, Low Ki, and Homicide climb into the ring and attack Kurt Angle! Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman run down to help Angle, and they end up brawling with Homicide and Low Ki, while Angle and Joe brawl between themselves. Meanwhile, AJ Styles celebrates in the ring, until Robert Roode climbs back in and kicks out his ankle from behind! He stomps away at the ankle until arena security and some police officers come down to break up the fighting. They pull Roode off and force him to the back. Security also finally pulls Samoa Joe/Kurt Angle and Low Ki and Homicide/Sean Waltman and Kevin Nash apart, and then help AJ Styles to the back.

Match 5: Team Canada vs Booker T/Scott Steiner
After that beast of a match, here is a bit of a reading break. Back-and-forth, with Steiner not wanting to get in with Petey until he’s down. After a long beatdown, Petey makes a very hot tag and Young cleans house. Booker sneaks it and tries the Axe Kick, but Young ducks it and hits a belly-to-belly. Petey tags back in and hits a moonsault off the top! ONE! TWO THRE – Steiner breaks it up, and then tags himself in. He destroys Petey with a lariat and goes for the Steiner Screwdriver, but Petey floats over and hits a reverse DDT. He fights Steiner into the Sharpshooter, and drags him to the center of the ring. Booker T tries to break it up, but Young takes him out with a big spear. With no other options, Scott Steiner taps out!
Winners via submission: Team Canada (9:40)

Team Canada celebrates in the ring as the Mafia regroups up the ramp.

Mick Foley is backstage on the phone, clearly being yelled out. He says that he promises to try to get things under control, and then says, “I’m very sorry Ms. Carter. It won’t happen again.”

AJ Styles is backstage with a doctor, who is icing up his ankle. The doctor strongly recommends that he forfeit his match against Robert Roode tonight, but he refuses. Mick Foley comes in, and Styles requests that the match be moved to at least on iMPACT. Foley says that it could be a possibility, but he has to check with the boss first.

Match 6: Sean Waltman[c] vs Low Ki vs Homicide vs Christopher Daniels [X-Division Championship]
NON! STOP! ACTION! Typical X-Division spotfest, with the underlying hate between Daniels/Ki, Homicide and Ki/Waltman, and Daniels/Homicide being highlighted. There’s some fun teamwork between Homicide and Low Ki, but then Daniels and Waltman work together to fight back, only for Daniels to take Waltman out with a backbreaker from behind. Daniels spends a good amount of time going from opponent to opponent trying to keep them all down, but eventually the numbers get to him, and all three guys bat him around. Low Ki throws him into a big lariat from Homicide, causing him to flip back into the Syxx Factor. They set him up against the ropes, and Low Ki hits a high-impact front dropkick that sends him up and over. As Low Ki scowls at Daniels on the outside, Waltman grabs a rollup! ONE! TWO! THR – Homicide breaks it up! He and Waltman trade blow back-and-forth, but Low Ki gets up, spins Waltman around, and nails him with a roundhouse kick, which knocks Waltman right into the 187! Homicide covers, but Low Ki immediately pulls him off. The two get in each other’s faces, and then start trading punches! They get into a really stiff chop/kick competition, and then it escalates into both guys hitting bigger moves, but then each other countering the other’s signature stuff. Finally Homicide gets a big lariat on Low Ki and then goes for the 187, but Low Ki latches around his neck and HE LOCKS IN THE DRAGON CLUTCH!!! Homicide tries to make it to the ropes, but he can’t! He starts to fade! He looks to be about to tap out, RIGHT before Daniels rushes in and kicks Low Ki in the back of the head. He picks him up and sets him up for the Angel’s Wings, but Low Ki spins out AND HE HITS THE KI KRUSHER! He goes to cover, but Waltman is in and tosses Ki to the outside! Waltman covers for himself! ONE! TWO! THRE – HOMICIDE BREAKS IT UP! Waltman goes for a spin kick, but Homicide catches him and hits a fisherman suplex! ONE! TWO! THRE – Waltman kicks out! Homicide quickly picks him up, and hits the Three Amigos, then heads up top! Low Ki heads up to an adjacent turnbuckle too, and points down at Waltman. Homicide nods his head and gets ready for the Frog Splash, BUT LOW KI WALKS ACROSS THE TOP ROPE AND TAKES HOMICIDE OUT WITH A SUPER HURRICANRANA FUCK YOU ELIX SKIPPAH~! Low Ki climbs back up and hits Waltman with the GHETTO STOMP~! ONE! TWO! THRE – NO! DANIELS IS IN AND BREAKS IT UP! Daniels picks Low Ki up the Angel’s Wings again, but Low Ki spins out once more and tries for the Ki Krusher, but Daniels gouges him in the eye and hits the Last Rites! He turns back and hones in on Homicide. BEST! MOONSAULT! EVER! ONE! TWO! THREE!

Daniels celebrates with the title as Homicide and Sean Waltman regroup on the outside, pissed off. Meanwhile, Low Ki climbs back in the ring and shoves Daniels! He gets in his face and rears back to punch, but Ki strikes first with a series of chops! He tosses him into the ropes, but Daniels grabs on, drops to the mat, and rolls out to escape with his newly won title in hand.

Mick Foley returns to AJ Styles and says that he talked to the boss, and it’s not possible to move the tournament final to another date. He says that Jarrett pointed out that the fans were promised a tournament final tonight, and that’s what they’re entitled to. He says that Styles has to decide tonight if he’s going to try and wrestle or if he’s going to forfeit.

A video package of the build-up to the tag team title match is played, going over MCMG nearly beating AMW for the titles before Roode returned to help AMW retain, and then Beer Money Inc. putting Jimmy Jacobs out of action last month at Hard Justice.

Match 7: America’s Most Wanted[c] vs Motor City Machineguns [Tag Team Championships]
The Guns get right in AMW’s faces and tell them to step up, to which the champions respond by clubberin’ away. They try to toss the Guns to the outside, but both of them skin the cat, and then take out AMW with stereo dropkicks! They continue their offense on James Storm for a bit, but Storm uses his size to create space, and then he uses the ropes to choke out Sabin and give himself the opportunity to tag in his partner. They isolate Sabin for a bit, but when Harris goes for a superplex, Sabin fights him off with shoot kicks and then connects with a Tornado DDT! ONE! TWO! THRE – Harris kicks out! Shelley and Storm both get tagged in at the same time, and Shelley ducks under a big lariat, and then connects with a single-knee facebreaker. He goes up top, but Harris cuts him off. He tries to knock Shelley down, but Sabin runs over and takes Harris off the apron with a spinning wheel kick! Shelley turns back to the ring, but Storm is up and delivers some elbows to Shelley. He fights back with elbows on his own, as Sabin gets on all fours right behind Storm. Then Shelley kicks Storm away with all his might, and Storm falls backward, tripping over Sabin! Sabin hits a plancha to Harris on the outside to knock him back down as Storm gets to his feet in the ring. Shelley leaps off with a big crossbody, and keeps the legs hooked! ONE! TWO! THRE – Storm kicks out! Shelley immediately catches him in an Oklahoma Roll! ONE! Storm kicks out! Storm is up, and Shelley grabs an inside cradle! ONE! TWO! Storm kicks out again! Gedo Clutch! Yeah! ONE! TWO! TH – Storm kicks out! Shelley tries to fight for a backslide, but before he can get it, Harris decks him in the jaw! He picks Shelley up for the Catatonic, but Sabin pulls him out and then hits a hurricanrana that sends Harris to the outside! Storm is up, and Sabin hits him with a sole kick, and when he doubles over, Shelley connects with a sunset flip! ONE! TWO! THRE – Storm kicks out, BARELY! Storm hobbles up and Shelley tries for another backslide, but Storm fights it with all he’s got. Harris tries to climb back into the ring, but Sabin dives out and tackles him to the ground. Shelley keeps fighting for the backslide, but Storm finally gets his arms free to avoid it! Storm immediately runs over to the referee and slaps him in the face! The ref calls for the bell!
Winners via disqualification: The Motor City Machineguns (11:45)

James Storm rolls out of the ring and grabs Chris Harris from ringside, and the two escape up the ramp with their tag team titles.

Robert Roode finds Mick Foley backstage and tells him that AJ Styles can’t compete, so he is formally accepting the main event spot at Bound For Glory. Foley says that it is really up to AJ Styles, but yes, if Styles forfeits, Roode will move on to face either Christian Cage or Sting.

Match 8: RVD/Sabu vs Rock N Rave vs Abyss/Matt Morgan vs Raven/Frankie Kazarian [No DQ]
WEAPONS~! BLOOD~! VIOLENCE~! Jimmy Rave goes apeshit on Raven early on and gets things going with a sick Brainbuster on the outside. Pretty much for the rest of the match, Raven sits it out and watches, constantly avoiding conflict. Other things worth noting are that there is a lot of Abyss and Morgan double-teaming Jimmy Rave, a brutal back-and-forth between Rave and Kaz, old-school signature RVD/Sabu stuff, and a whole lot of spots in between. Towards the middle of the match, a table is introduced when RVD/Sabu try to put Kaz through it, but Abyss ended up clotheslining both guys so it was forgotten about for the most part. RVD also took out a lot of people with a ladder, but Jimmy Rave stopped that with a nice springboard dropkick. Towards the end, basically everybody has ravaged Frankie Kazarian, but Raven remains sitting stoically outside the ring. Abyss tossed Jimmy Rave out of the ring and onto Lance Rock, and then RVD and Sabu took out both Abyss and Matt Morgan with stereo Van Daminators. RVD grabs Kaz and holds him up to be smashed in the face with a chair from Sabu. RVD then hits the Rolling Thunder while Sabu sets up the table in the corner. RVD calls for Air Sabu, and Sabu climbs up to the adjacent turnbuckle! He gets ready to leap across to Kaz, BUT RAVEN IS ON THE APRON! He jumps up to where Sabu is, AND HE TAKES HIM TO THE OUTSIDE WITH A DDT FROM THE TOP TO THE FLOOR BELOW!! HOLY SHIT~! Rob Van Dam quickly runs across for a suicide dive, BUT RAVEN GRABBED A SHEET OF METAL FROM THE GROUND AND BASHES RVD OVER THE HEAD WITH IT MID-AIR!! Raven grabs Jimmy Rave from the ground outside and drags him by the neck, then rolls him into the ring. He tosses the metal sheet onto the floor and drives Rave’s skull into it with an Even Flow DDT! Raven then rushes over, grabs Kaz’s basically motionless body, and drapes it across Rave. ONE! TWO! THREE!

Raven lifts Frankie Kazarian up to his feet, and then demands that he walk to the back without his help. As they get to the back, the other participants get up and are pissed at what happened. That is, except Sabu. They call for medical attention and EMTs help Old Man Sabu to the back.

Hype to the tournament finals plays, along with a short vignette about what it feels like to compete at Bound For Glory, and especially how it feels to be in the main event.

Robert Roode comes out and waits for a long time, and finally declares himself the winner. As he’s about to head to the back, AJ STYLES~ limps out, shoving off a doctor behind him. He climbs in and orders that the referee start the match.

Match 9: AJ Styles vs Robert Roode [Bound For Glory Tournament Finals]
Roode immediately jumps Styles and starts kicking away at his ankle, but Styles manages to get to the ropes most of the time. At one point Roode ignores the rope break and keeps attacking, so they ref pulls him off, and Styles uses the opportunity to grab a small package for a very long two-count. Roode charges Styles, but Styles ducks under and sends him over the top rope and to the outside! He rears up for a plancha, but looks at his ankle and thinks better of it. Instead he rolls to the outside to deliver some elbows, and then hits a big enzuigiri while sitting on the apron! He rolls Roode back in and covers, but only gets a two-count. He continues his offense for a bit, using his hands and his uninjured leg, with the ropes for keeping his balance. Styles eventually goes for a Brainbuster, using the ropes to keep his posture, but Roode slides out to the apron and hotshots Styles by the neck. He gets back in the ring and starts wearing Styles down some, and then he goes right back to his vicious ankle work. Styles start to fight back again, and finally gets a big discus clothesline. He tries to climb to the top, but his ankle prevents him, and Roode has time to get up and hit a big superplex off the top! ONE! TWO! THRE – Styles kicks out! Roode signals for the end and when Styles gets up, he goes for the Payoff, but Styles drops down with an inside cradle! ONE! TWO! THRE – Roode JUST kicks out! Both men get up, but Roode immediately takes Styles out by the ankle! He gets a sinister look in his eye, AND THEN LOCKS IN THE ANKLE LOCK ON AJ STYLES! He writhes around in pain, but Roode just torques harder! Styles claws over and nearly gets to the bottom rope, but Roode pulls him to the center! With the BFG title shot on the line, there’s no way he can tap! But he can’t make it! He has to! He begins flailing around as Roode twists his ankle more and more. As Styles holds on longer, Roode gets more and more frustrated, pulling making on the ankle as well. After a while, Roode pulls back far enough that Styles can roll backwards, and he does! Roode flips forward, and AJ Styles pulls him into a roll-up! ONE! TWO! THREE!!!!!

Match 10: Christian Cage[c] w/ Tomko and Rhino vs Sting [TNA World Championship]
Christian has a lot of words for Sting up front, so Sting just stands stoically as Christian shouts in his face. When he’s done, Christian rears back for a punch, but Sting catches his arm and then explodes with fury. The fans are going crazy for Sting as he reverts back to all his signature taunts and moves and whatnot. Christian goes to the eyes, but Sting snaps back with a spear, followed up by some grounded punches. He tosses Christian into the corner and goes for the Stinger Splash, but Christian moves out of the way, and Sting’s shoulder nails the steel post from above. Christian goes right to work over the arm, using the ropes to his advantage at will. Sting starts to fight back with his good ol’ fiery babyface passion, and he hits a good series of back elbows with his good arm. He runs off the ropes for a bulldog, but Christian grabs his arm and snaps back with it, looking to hyperextend it. Sting falls to the mat, and Christian fights him into a high-angle fujiwara armbar. He struggles for a while, but finally makes it to the ropes, but Christian runs off the ropes and baseball slides him to the outside of the ring! Christian follows him out and tosses him around the outside a bit, but Sting reverses an irish whip and sends Christian into the ring post! He tosses him into the ring and starts to climb back in, but Rhino runs across and pulls his leg out from under him! The ref’s attention was on Christian, but when he turns to see Sting laid out on the outside and Tomko/Rhino standing nearby, he catches on. And he sends them to the back! They argue with the ref, but he demands that they leave ringside. Christian slowly gets up on the inside, while Sting slowly gets up on the outside. When Christian realizes that Tomko and Rhino are retreating up the ramp, he argues with the referee, and fails to see Sting climbing up the turnbuckle behind him. When he turns around, he walks right into a crossbody off the top rope! ONE! TWO! THRE – Christian kicks out! Sting keeps up his steam by batting Christian around a bit, still selling the arm in all of his offense. He eventually tries to fight Christian into the Scorpion Death Lock, but Christian kicks at his hurt arm to get free. He tries for the Unprettier, but Sting slips out and hits a back suplex. He goes up top again for a flying clothesline, but Christian hits a dropkick out of mid-air! Christian goes up and tries for his second-rope European uppercut, but Sting moves out of the way and catches Christian during his rotation, and plants him with the Scorpion Death Drop! But it was with his hurt arm, so he struggles to crawl over and make the cover, but he finally does! ONE! TWO! THRE – Christian gets a foot on the rope! Sting tries for the Scorpion Death Lock again, but Christian clings to the ropes, and crawls out to the apron, when he slingshots Sting’s neck across the top rope. He climbs up the nearest turnbuckle and goes for the Frog Splash BUT STING MOVES! Sting goes up and shows he can fly too with a splash off the top, BUT CHRISTIAN GETS THE KNEES UP! He crawls over and covers! ONE! TWO! THRE – Sting kicks out! Christian pulls Sting up and goes for the Unprettier, but Sting pushes him into the corner. Sting rushes at him, but Christian gets a boot up into his face, and then nails the Tornado DDT! ONE! TWO! THRE – STING KICKS OUT! Christian goes up top and goes for the Frog Splash again, but Sting moves! They both climb up to their feet and start trading blows in the middle of the ring. Christian gains an edge and goes for the Unprettier, but Sting pushes him away and then hits a running crossbody! Christian staggers up, and Sting hits him with a dropkick! He throws Christian into the corner! STINGER SPLASH~! He tries for the Scorpion Death Drop, but Christian punches at the arm to break free. He runs off the ropes, but Sting kicks him in the gut and then hits a big powerbomb in the middle of the ring! ONE! TWO! THRE – Christian kicks out! Sting picks him up and HE PUTS HIM IN THE TORTURE RACK!!!! Christian flails around, but he can’t reach the ropes! He goes to the eyes to get down, and tries for the Unprettier one more time, but Sting picks him up into the Electric Chair position! Christian slides down behind him, AND HE HITS THE UNPRETTIER! ONE! TWO! THREE!

Christian Cage holds up his TNA Championship in celebration, and AJ Styles comes out, still limping. He makes his way down to the ring and stares across at Christian Cage, and motions for the world title. TNA iMPACT: The Road to a Phenomenal BFG Begins

A video plays, outlining all that took place at No Surrender, and highlight that the road to Bound For Glory V has officially begun. It leads right into a montage of BFG’s greatest moments, along with commentary from different wrestlers on what it’s like wrestling at the biggest show of the year.

Commentary welcomes us to the show and announces that we will be seeing some great matches tonight, including Rob Van Dam vs Frankie Kazarian, Daniels vs Waltman in a title match, and Low Ki vs Homicide in a number one contender’s match to the X-Division Championship!

AJ Styles comes out to kick off the actual program, and he cuts a promo about redeeming himself against Kurt Angle, and fighting through a hurt ankle to beat Robert Roode and earn his spot in the main event at Bound For Glory. He says that he’s been in TNA longer than just about anybody on the roster, but he’s never main evented the biggest show, and this is his chance. And he says that he’s overjoyed that it will be to beat his former friend, Christian Cage. That draws out the TNA Champion, and says that once friends, always friends. Cage runs down Joe, Roode, and Angle, but says that AJ Styles is different, and that he still sees him as his protégé. Mick Foley comes out and says that if these two think they can co-exist so well, they should prove it. Tonight’s main event will be Christian Cage and AJ Styles vs Robert Roode and Kurt Angle!

Frankie Kazarian finds Jimmy Rave backstage and tells him that it looks like he made the wrong decision in leaving Raven’s guidance. After all, it was he and Raven that walked out of No Surrender the victors.

Match 1: Rob Van Dam vs Frankie Kazarian w/ Raven
Fun back-and-forth stuff with RVD getting out his signature stuff, but Kaz showing off his offense too at some points. When RVD goes up top, Rave distracts him long enough for Kaz to crotch him and then hit a big superplex. He continues with some back work, but RVD finally gets off a spinning wheel kick when Kaz comes off the ropes. He motions for the Rolling Thunder, but Raven trips him up from the outside, and Kaz uses the opportunity to connect with a single leg dropkick. He picks him up and tries the Wave of the Future, but RVD spins out with a sleeper slam! He goes up top and nails the 5 Star Frog Splash for the vik-tour-ee.

Raven rushes the ring and begins stomping away at Rob Van Dam, and then Kaz joins in as well. Raven plants him with an Even Flow DDT, and the two celebrate over his body.

Chris Daniels cuts a promo backstage about how it’s about time somebody in the Frontline did something right by bringing a title back into an original’s hands again. He says he’ll have no problem beating that washed up Sean Waltman tonight.

Match 2: Christopher Daniels[c] vs Sean Waltman [X-Division Championship]
The fans hate them both, so there isn’t much of control from either guy, and Cornette points out that at least this rematch isn’t taking place at Bound For Glory, because that would suck. Waltman goes for a spin kick off the top, but Daniels dodges it. He goes for the Last Rites, but Waltman spins out and kicks him in the gut. He tries for the Comedown, but Daniels spins out and hits the Angel’s Wings for the win.

Lauren finds a fuming Samoa Joe backstage and asks what the problem is. He basically explodes on her and can’t believe she asked such a stupid question. He says that Kurt Angle completely fucked him over on Sunday, and it’s entirely because he fears him. He leaves her by saying that we’ll see who turns out fucked up.

We come back to find a table set up in the ring, with four kegs set up, and a bunch of Solo cups stacked on it. America’s Most Wanted comes out and reveals that it’s for their celebration of officially being the best team in TNA. They run down the Guns from their “shitty city” and then make a toast to every tag team that they’ve ever beaten in TNA history, from Team 3D to Sonny Siaki/Apollo. By the time they get to the 17th tag team, the table flips over from underneath and the Motor City Machineguns were under there! They attack both tag team champions, taking them both out with double superkicks! They set the table back up and stack the two guys on top of each other, AND SABIN PUTS THEM THROUGH IT WITH A SPLASH FROM THE TOP ROPE! The Machineguns hold up the titles and then drape them over AMW’s bodies.

Tenay announces that AMW/MCMG will take place for the titles at Bound For Glory, and if AMW are disqualified or counted out, they will STILL lose the titles to the Guns.

Chuck Taylor is in the ring cleaning up the broken tables, and he gets some pops, so he poses for the crowd until another janitor tells him to cut it out.

Match 3: Low Ki vs Homicide [#1 Contender’s Match]
A handshake up front, and the crowd is hot. The two actually go to the mat at first, and Homicide shows his finesse, but Low Ki stays in it with his power. Homicide tries to go after Ki’s leg early on, but Ki makes room and instead reverses the momentum and gets some nice arm work in. Homicide shoves him off with a big elbow and runs at him, but Ki ducks under and sends him over the top rope but he lands on the apron. Low Ki charges, but Homicide gets a knee up and busts him in the mouth! Low Ki stutters backward, and Homicide springboards into the ring, but Low Ki dropkicks him out of midair! He covers! ONE! TWO! THR – Homicide kicks out and rolls to the outside. Low Ki backs up in the ring and charges out with a suicide dive, but HOMICIDE MOVES! Low Ki crashes into the barricade, holding his shoulder, as we go to a break.

We come back and Homicide has abandoned his leg tactics, and is instead focusing on the hurt shoulder of Low Ki. At first he stomps away and uses the ropes to gain some leverage, but he lets off at the referee’s request. He goes for a simple ARMBAR~ but Low Ki fights up to a vertical base and then fights back with some stuff kicks. Homicide finally lets go, but charges at Low Ki, only to walk into a high roundhouse. Homicide flips back into the corner, where Low Ki charges, but Homicide moves and Ki’s shoulder nails the steel post! Homicide immediately gets behind Low Ki and locks in an elevated double chickenwing! Low Ki screams out in agony, but he refuses to quit. After a while, Homicide flattens him face-first with a chickenwing face buster. ONE! TWO! THR – Low Ki kicks out! ‘Cide tries to keep him down, but Ki fights back with some more stiff kicks. Homicide finally blocks a kick, but he leaves his upper body open, and Low Ki NAILS him with a big elbow from his uninjured arm! Homicide gets up, but Low Ki nails him with another elbow! Homicide hits the mat and Low Ki attacks him on the mat with repeated elbows until the ref forces him off, and then he covers! ONE! TWO! THRE – Homicide kicks out! Low Ki flips Homicide over and tries for the Dragon Clutch, but Homicide grabs an inside cradle! ONE! TWO! THRE – Kick out! Both men get up and start trading big kicks, but Low Ki starts to get the better of it, and he begins to target Homicide’s legs with them. Homicide reaches down to block the kicks, so Low Ki kicks straight upward, nailing him under the chin! ONE! TWO! THRE – Homicide kicks out! Low Ki picks Homicide up and throws him into the corner, and follows up with the Tidal Krush, but Homicide catches his leg and plants him with a fisherman suplex! ONE! TWO! THR – Low Ki kicks out! Homicide waits for Low Ki to get up, and then jumps for the 187, but Low Ki catches him in mid-air and counters into the Dragon Clutch! He pulls back, but Homicide is too close to the ropes, and he gets the break. Low Ki picks him up and goes for the Ki Krusher, but his elbow gives out and Homicide slides down behind him. He goes for the Gringo Killer, but Low Ki frees his arms and then nails Homicide with a headbutt to the back of the head! Homicide hits the mat and Low Ki goes up top! GHETTO STOMP! NO! Homicide moved! Low Ki falters under his legs and turns around RIGHT INTO THE 187!!! ONE! TWO! THRE – LOW KI GETS A FOOT ON THE ROPE! Homicide pulls Low Ki into the middle of the ring and goes up top. He jumps up for a Frog Splash, BUT LOW KI GETS THE KNEES UP! Homicide gets up holding his gut, and Low Ki sprints full speed and clocks him with a high-impact front dropkick! He goes up top again! GHETTO STOMP CONNECTS! ONE! TWO! THREE!

Doug Williams is backstage on the phone (and an unhappy Dave Taylor beside him) with Nigel McGuiness, thanking him for being his partner at No Surrender. He tells him that he’s the best that ROH has to offer, and he means that.

This was originally a long segment, but I didn’t want to read it so I’m sure you didn’t. Basically Petey challenged Steiner to a BFG match and he agreed, but said that he refused to fight Petey until then. And if he beats Petey, he has to leave him alone. Petey agrees, and then tries to provoke Steiner to a fight, but Booker T blindsides him to shut him up.

Homicide is backstage with Lauren and says he’s upset he lost, but that Low Ki is a great competitor and deserves the title match. Sean Waltman walks up and says that he’d still be champion if this little Mexican shit didn’t get pinned at No Surrender. The two get in each other’s faces, but cooler heads prevail.

Christian Cage is backstage with Tomko and Rhino, and he says that AJ Styles is good, but the “Roll-Up Kid” won’t beat him at BFG.

Match 4: Rock N Rave Connection vs Abyss/Matt Morgan
Jimmy Rave tries to go at it alone at first, but Abyss and Morgan toss him around a bunch, so he tags out to Lance Rock. There’s a big power-off between Morgan and Rock, which Morgan finally gets the better of after slipping out of a chokeslam and hitting a falling lariat. Abyss gets in and goes for a chokeslam, but Rock goes to the eyes and tags in Rave. He springboards in and hits a big spinning heel kick that puts Abyss down to a knee. He runs off the ropes and nails him with a dropkick to the face! ONE! TWO! TH – Abyss tosses him off! Rave climbs up top and leaps off for a crossbody, but Abyss catches him mid-air. He swings him around for the Black Hole Slam, but Rave counters with a Tornado DDT! He thinks about covering, but tags in Lance Rock again. He rushes in and tries to hit a big boot, but Abyss ducks and hits a chokeslam! He goes to cover, but Rave climbs in and breaks it up. Matt Morgan comes in and levels Rave with the Carbon Footprint! Abyss picks Rock up and throws him against the ropes, and he hits the Black Hole Slam! ONE! TWO! THREE!

The two monsters continue beating down Rock N Rave, but Rave rolls away and leaves Lance Rock to suffer all the consequences. Morgan grabs a chair from ringside and goes ballistic on Rock’s leg! He and Abyss finally stop and point up the ramp way to Rave, who looks scare as hell.

AJ Styles is backstage with Lauren and tells her that his ankle is obviously still bothering him, but he’s gonna deliver tonight anyway. And he’s going to deliver at BFG.

Christian tells Tomko that he wants him out with him tonight, but for Rhino to stay back, because Styles may not trust Rhino.

Match 5: Christian Cage/AJ Styles w/ Tomko vs Kurt Angle/Robert Roode
Christian and AJ work really well together with some nice double-team moves up front to both opponents. Angle finally gets fed up and rolls to the outside, leaving Roode alone to take the brunt. Roode manages to fight back against Styles by kicking at his ankle, but Cage runs over and tosses him outside of the ring. Angle helps Roode to his feet on the outside, as Styles runs against the ropes for a suicide dive! Roode moves out of the way, but Styles nails Angle! As Roode looks at the damages, he fails to see Christian springboard from the corner into a plancha to him on the outside!

--Commercial Break--

Back in the ring, Roode is really laying into Styles with some neck work, but Angle directs him to work over the ankle, so he switches his strategy. Angle tags in and is super aggressive with Styles, usually working on the ankle, but at times just being pissed off so suplexing him across the ring. When Styles blocks a belly-to-belly with an inside cradle for a long two-count, Angle decides it’s time to put in the ankle lock. Styles almost makes it to the ropes, but Roode comes in the ring and pulls Styles to the middle! The ref goes over to yell at Roode, just as Styles tucks under his leg and grabs a roll up! ONE! TWO! THR – Angle kicks out! Styles quickly scurries over and tags Christian, who comes in on fire! But the ref didn’t see it! He forces Christian back to his corner and Angle and Roode continue to isolate AJ Styles. In a callback spot from Sunday, Roode has the ankle lock in and Styles tries to fold inside to grab a cradle, but Roode spots it and sits down to get Styles in a cradle instead! ONE! TWO! THRE – Styles kicks out! Roode gets up and goes for the Payoff, but Styles slips out and flings him across with an arm drag. Roode runs at him, but Styles ducks under and then hits the Pele! But he lands on his bad ankle! He crawls across, and both men get the tag at the same time! Christian hits a series of clotheslines, and then plants Angle with a second-rope European uppercut! ONE! TWO! THR – Angle kicks out! Christian tries to kick Angle in the gut, but Angle catches his leg and spins him around for a German suplex. Christian blocks it with his foot, and goes for the Unprettier but Angle pushes him away! Christian bounces off the ropes right into a big belly-to-belly suplex! ONE! TWO! THRE – Christian kicks out! Angle picks him up and goes for the Olympic Slam, but Christian slides out and hits a reverse DDT! ONE! TWO! THRE – Kickout! Christian picks Angle up and tosses him into the corner then charges, but Angle moves out of the way, and then hits a German Suplex! He crawls over and tags in Roode, who immediately starts stomping away at Christian. He hits a vertical suplex for a two-count, and then signals for the end. He tries the Payoff, but Christian knees out of it and goes for the Unprettier! Roode pushes him away and leans down for a back body drop, but Christian scouts it and plants him with a snap DDT. He goes up top, but Angle distracts Christian long enough for Roode to climb up to the top for a superplex. Christian fights back with elbows to the gut, and finally a big uppercut knocks Roode down. Christian stands up on the top rope and hits the Frog Splash! ONE! TWO! THRE – ANGLE BREAKS IT UP! Styles climbs into the ring and tackles Angle to the mat! Angle goes to the eyes to create space then charges at Styles, but Styles ducks under him sends him to the outside! As he looks out at Angle, Roode nails him with the Northern Lariat! He drags Styles to the middle of the ring and locks in the ankle lock! Styles writhes around, but he’s not even the legal man! Christian gets up behind Roode and sees Styles in the ankle lock, and he starts to break it up, but he stops. He looks around and consider what to do, and after a long pause . . . HE NAILS ROBERT ROODE WITH THE UNPRETTIER! ONE! TWO! THREE!

As Christian and AJ celebrate, Kurt Angle rolls into the ring with a chair, but Tomko stops him and clothesline him out of the ring. He rears back and looks to bash Styles in the back with the chair, but Christian sees him and stops him just in time! Tomko looks confused, but then leaves and goes to the back, as Christian and Styles share an awkward glare.

Kurt Angle is getting ready to leave the arena, and Samoa Joe springs at him and nails him with a fucking lead pipe! He keeps bashing it over his body, and then he fucking plants him on the concrete backstage with a Muscle Buster!! He tosses him into a trashcan, and talks a whole bunch of shit to him. Security finally shows up the scene and pins Joe to the ground, despite a lot of resistance. Foley runs up on his cell phone shouting, “Are you sure?! God damnit! Fine!” He hangs up and orders the security to place Samoa Joe under arrest for aggravated assault. He tells Joe he wish he didn’t have to do it, but he has no choice. Security carries Samoa Joe off as to show closes.

Mick Foley comes out to the iMPACT Zone and reveals that Samoa Joe did indeed spend the last seven days in jail, but he has now been released. Under an executive order, Samoa Joe is barred from attacking Kurt Angle unless physically provoked, and if that is neglected, extremely serious action will take place. He then says that now that his “boss” stuff is out of the way, he thoroughly thought that Joe killing Kurt Angle last week was fucking awesome, which is why he is giving Samoa Joe the main event slot tonight against Christian Cage in a non-title match. But to make things interesting, the apparent respect that Cage has for Styles will be further tested, because AJ Styles will be the guest referee in that match. But that’s not until later, for now, let’s get the wrestling started.

Match 1: Low Ki/Homicide vs Christopher Daniels/Sean Waltman w/ Elix Skipper
There’s a huge contrast between the teamwork of Homicide and Low Ki versus the animosity between Daniels and Waltman. Ki and ‘Cide go all-out against Daniels at the start, and bat him around the ring. When Homicide hits the Brooklyn Lariat and Low Ki goes up top, Waltman finally decides to get involved, and he distracts Ki long enough for Daniels to roll out of the ring to safety. Low Ki follows him out and throws him into the guardrail, then rolls him back in, but Skipper distracts Ki on the outside long enough for Daniels to tag in Waltman. Low Ki finally tags in and looks to go after Daniels, not realizing the tag had been made, so Waltman floors him with a spinning wheel kick. He works over his neck for a bit, but Low Ki fights back with stiff kicks, and then nails a big roundhouse! They both get up, and Waltman tries for a right hand, but Low Ki blocks it and then delivers a series of knife-edged chops! Waltman goes to the eyes and runs off the ropes, but Low Ki explodes with a high-impact front dropkick! He crawls over, and he makes the hot tag! Homicide comes in and tackles Waltman to the mat and delivers some GROUND N’ POUND~! He goes crazy with suplex and lariats, and then tries for the Gringo Killer, but Waltman shoots his leg up, nailing Homicide in the crotch! Homicide holds his goods, and Waltman pie-faces him out of the ring, and the ref has no choice but to call for the bell.
Winners via disqualification: Low Ki/Homicide (8:45)

Christopher Daniels climbs in the ring and yells at Waltman for getting disqualified, so Waltman pushes him, RIGHT INTO A SPINNING WHEEL KICK FROM LOW KI! Waltman and Ki stare-off for a while until Waltman gives him the finger, and Low Ki chases him out of the ring. Waltman walks backward cockily away, but he bumps right into Homicide! 187 from Homicide! Low Ki and Homicide celebrate up the ramp.

Match 2: Alex Koslov/Kiyoshi w/ The Axis Powers vs Los Infernales
This is a sprint, with a lot of crowd taunting from the Axis Powers. Schulz trips up Averno from the outside, and Kiyoshi pounces with a big savate kick. He and Koslov isolate Averno for a bit, but he ducks under a double clothesline, and somersaults over to Mephisto! A springboard crossbody takes both Axis members out, and then he measures Kiyoshi up. He picks him up and plants him with a sitout powerslam. He goes up top, but Koslov runs over to cut him off. He climbs up with Mephisto to try a superplex, but Averno runs over and powerbombs him from the top! Kiyoshi stumbles to his feet, and Mephisto jumps off with a DRAGONRANA! ONE! TWO! THREE!

As Los Infernales celebrate in the ring, Brutus Magnus and Patrick Schulz rush in and attack them. Before the beatdown gets too far, Volador runs down to save his fellow luchas, and clears out the evildoers.

Doug Williams catches Foley backstage and requests the ROH Invitational match for Bound For Glory, since he proved he is on par with all ROH talent. Foley says that he wills set up a match for the main event of Xplosion this week: Doug Williams vs Dave Taylor. Winner can get the ROH Invitational.

Petey Williams is backstage and says that Scott Steiner is a coward, and that he’s going to reveal that to the world at Bound For Glory.

Christian Cage says he was impressed with AJ Styles last week, but he wonders if the “Roll-Up Kid” can win the title.

Match 3: Eric Young/2 Crazy Negroes vs Booker T/Jihad
Tenay reveals that Eric Young requested this match to get his hands on Booker T for blindsiding Eric Young last week. Cornette the responds by cursing Eric Young for putting Jihad on the television. Anyway, this is a basic-structured match, with some heel isolation over the faces, but again, Booker T refuses to cheat against either Lethal or Creed. That leads to miscommunication issues between the heels, and Dutt ends up arguing with Booker T and missing Creed make the hot tag to Lethal. He turns right around into the Lethal Combination! ONE! TWO! THRE – Bashir breaks it up! Creed runs over and tackles him out of the ring, so Lethal goes up top and nails the Lethal Elbow! Booker just watches from the outside! ONE! TWO! THREE!
Winners via pinfall: Eric Young/2 Crazy Negroes (7:03)

As Eric Young and the Negroes celebrate in the ring, Booker T jumps EY from behind, and then Jihad attack 2CN. Scott Steiner runs down and joins in, which draws out Petey Williams! He guns right for Steiner, who dodges him and rolls up of the ring and just shakes his finger, mouthing “not until Bound For Glory.”

Match 4: Robert Roode w/ AMW vs Chris Sabin w/ Alex Shelley
Lots of big man vs little man stuff, with Roode cheap tactics to top it off. After a good run of Sabin high-flying stuff, Roode rolls out of the way of a top-rope crossbody and begins to work over the midsection for a good stretch. Sabin comes off the ropes with a diving clothesline to buy some time and then he runs at Roode and tries a headscissors takedown, but Roode shifts him around and nails a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker! ONE! TWO! THR – Sabin kicks out! Roode pulls him up for a powerbomb, but Sabin uses his weight to push Roode back, and he hurricanranas them both to the outside! Sabin gets in before the ref’s count and goes for a suicide dive to the outside, but Harris shoves Roode out of the way to avoid contact! Shelley runs over to the other side and starts laying into Chris Harris! The referee shouts out them both, as Roode rolls Sabin into the ring. Roode goes for the Payoff, but Sabin knees out and hits an enzuigiri! He goes up top, but Storm is in the ring with a beer bottle! He bashes Sabin over the head while the ref still has his back turned! Storm shouts for the ref to pay attention as Roode climbs to the top with Sabin. He grabs a KOed Sabin and hits a big superplex off the top! ONE! TWO! THRE – SABIN KICKS OUT! Roode is irate, but he quickly picks Sabin up and hits the Payoff! ONE! TWO! THREE!

America’s Most Wanted celebrates with Robert Roode, and then they all start laying into the Motor City Machineguns. That is, until JIMMY JACOBS~ runs out with a steel chair and clears them out of the ring! Beer Money Inc. backs up the ramp pissed off as Jacobs grabs a microphone: “Robert Roode. You. Me. Bound For Glory.”

Jimmy Rave is walking backstage when, all of a sudden, the lights go out. There’s a big commotion, and when they come back on, Rave is laid out, with his forehead cut, and Raven is standing there, smiling evilly.

A promo of RVD’s TNA debut to stand up for Sabu when Abyss and Morgan wouldn’t plays, along with the subsequent encounters between the men.

Match 5: Rob Van Dam vs Abyss w/ Matt Morgan
At the start, it’s a lot of RVD trying to wear down Abyss with kicks to the legs, but Abyss uses his big forearms to shrug him off. RVD resorts to bigger kicks to the midsection and then some dropkicks that send Abyss down to a knee. He runs off the ropes, but before he can attack, Abyss explodes with a lariat. From then on, it’s Abyss throwing Van Dam around, really doing damage to his back. RVD counters a powerbomb into a sunset flip for a nearfall, and then trips Abyss up with a side-swiping kick. He runs off the ropes and connects with the Rolling Thunder! He goes up top and waits for Abyss to stand up, and then dives off for a clothesline, but Abyss catches him by the throat and plants him with a chokeslam! ONE! TWO! THRE – VAN DAM KICKS OUT! Abyss goes for the Black Hole Slam, but RVD holds onto the ropes to prevent bouncing back. Abyss charges, but RVD ducks under and sends him to the outside, then follows up with a plancha! He rolls Abyss into the ring and goes up top, but Morgan jumps onto the apron to distract him, so Van Dam leaps off and takes him out with a diving thrust kick! He rolls back into the ring AND WALKS RIGHT INTO ANOTHER CHOKESLAM! Abyss picks him up, and he hits the Shock Treatment! ONE! TWO! THREE!

Matt Morgan climbs into the ring to celebrate with Abyss, and RVD looks on very angry. He grabs a microphone and challenges Abyss to a match at Bound For Glory, this time with weapons involved. Abyss just smiles and says, “Monster’s Ball.”

Match 6: Daisy Haze/Roxxi Laveaux/Christie Hemme vs The Beautiful People w/ Kip James
Women’s wrestling. Lol. Roxxi is a dyke, so she punches everybody in the face, but Kip James gets involved and Hemme ends up getting isolated for a bit. She counter’s a vertical suplex from Velvet Sky into one of her own, and tags in Daisy Haze, who comes in and cleans out. Mind Trip on Sky gets the win.

The faces celebrate in the ring, and Mike Tenay announces that Daisy Haze has another non-title match against Angelina Love next week, and everybody is barred from ringside.

Waltman is backstage and says that at Bound For Glory, Homicide’s ass is grass, and he’s gonna smoke it.

The Main Event Mafia is backstage, and Kurt Angle looks really beat up. Angle says it’s bullshit that Samoa Joe gets such a high-profile match tonight after the stunt he pulled last week, and says that Foley is a piece of crap. Nash just says that we’ll see how long Foley stays in power after this.

AJ Styles heads out to the ring in his referee shirt.

Match 6: Christian Cage vs Samoa Joe (Special guest referee: AJ Styles)
There’s definitely a big-match feel to this, and the crowd reacts to it. They work this as Samoa Joe clearly being stronger than Christian, but the world champion uses his experience to scoot around and try to get shots in where he can. When Christian goes to the eye, Joe explodes with a lariat and then just starts pummeling him into the ground. Christian tries to roll out, but Joe pulls him back in and plants him with a big belly-to-belly. He picks him up for a power bomb, but Christian floats over and escapes to the outside. AJ tries to keep Joe back, but Joe pushes him out of the way and runs for a suicide dive, BUT CHRISTIAN MOVES! Joe nails the steel barricade headfirst as we go to a commercial break.

We come back and Christian is working over Joe’s neck like a madman, following Joe’s crash to the outside. When he starts to use the ropes, Styles has to warn him to ease up, causing some tension between the two. Christian keeps close on Joe, but when he runs off the ropes, Joe catches him with a snap powerslam. They fight up and Christian tries a dropkick, but Joe slaps him out of the way, and then drops down and locks in an STF! In the middle of the ring, Christian can’t reach the ropes, so he uses his free arm to punch at the back of Joe’s neck. He flinches and loosens the hold enough for Christian to get loose and elbow his way out. He and Joe trade chops, then Christian goes off the ropes for a crossbody, but Joe catches him! He lifts him into the air, but Christian drops down and hits a reverse DDT! ONE! TWO! TH – Joe tosses him off! He tries to keep Joe down with elbows, but Joe fights him off with stiff kicks. He rears up for a big lariat, but Christian ducks and then pokes him in the eye! He hooks Joe’s arms for the Unprettier, but Styles pulls them apart and tells Christian that he can’t go to the eyes like that! They argue for a bit, and Christian turns around into a HUGE lariat! ONE! TWO! THRE – Christian kicks out! Joe throws Christian off the ropes and bends over, but Christian scouts it and kicks him in the jaw, then plants him with a snap DDT! ONE! TWO! THR – Joe kicks out! Christian climbs up top and connects with a missile dropkick! ONE! TWO! THR – Joe kicks out! He goes up again for a Frog Splash, BUT JOE MOVES! Christian gets up holding his gut, and Joe grabs him and nails him with a powerbomb! ONE! TWO! THRE – Christian kicks out! Joe picks Christian up sets him up on the top turnbuckle, but Christian elbows him off! He gets ready to leap off, but Joe explodes backwards with a spinning enzuigiri! Christian slouches down, so Joe sets him up again and he picks him up for the Muscle Buster! Christian holds onto the ropes as much as he can, and he finally pulls himself over the ropes and to the outside for safety! He tries to regroup, BUT JOE TAKES HIM OUT WITH A SUCCESSFUL SUICIDE DIVE!!!! As they both try to get to their feet, KURT ANGLE RUNS OUT AND ATTACKS SAMOA JOE!!! Christian looks on confused, as Styles calls for a DQ for the assault on Joe.
Winner via disqualification: Samoa Joe (13:57)

Kurt Angle continues pounding away at Samoa Joe, and the rest of the Mafia comes down to help out! In response, Homicide comes down to gun for Waltman, Petey Williams comes out for Steiner, and Eric Young rushes down to take out Booker T! The all brawl around on the outside of the ring.

Meanwhile, in the ring, Christian Cage yells at AJ Styles for giving Samoa Joe the win, but Styles says he was just doing his job. Cage rears back for a punch, but decides against it, and instead just rubs Styles chin. He goes to ringside and grabs his belt, and holds it up in Styles’ face as the show ends.

I really admire your consistent level of quality in these shows, and the fact that you have a very clear game-plan for all the angles.

Your fueds move at a great pace. Waltman\Daniels has progressed nicely and I love the way the Christian\Styles relationship is moving. I'm all for a slow-burn.

Have to say that I don't like Police\jail\legal situations in pro-wrestling. In my mind, it starts to conflict with the internal logic of the wrestling storylines.

That said, I really enjoy your shows.

Commentary welcomes us and runs down tonight’s card, and also adds that Mick Foley has issued an ultimatum that if Kurt Angle and/or Samoa Joe disrupt tonight’s show in any form, they will be dealt with accordingly. Also, AJ Styles vs Tomko tonight! OH YEAH!

Match 1: Homicide vs Kevin Nash w/ Sean Waltman
Nash jumps Homicide right at the bell and toys with him a bit, but Homicide jumps over a back body drop attempt and fights back with a bunch of kicks to the thigh. He bounces off the ropes and ducks under a lariat, but Waltman grabs his boot from the outside, and Homicide turns right around into a big boot. Homicide continues to fight back, but he’s continuously stopped by cheap tactics and outside interference. Nash eventually goes for a chokeslam, but Homicide extends upward and takes Nash out with a headscissors takedown. He goes up top and leaps off with crossbody, but Nash catches him and plants him with a body slam! ONE! TWO! THRE – Homicide kicks out! Nash picks him up and sets him up for the Jackknife, BUT HOMICIDE FLIPS THROUGH AND HITS THE 187! ONE! TWO! THREE!

Waltman pulls Nash out of the ring, but Homicide sprints and takes them both out with a flipping senton, and then celebrates up the ramp.

AJ Styles finds Samoa Joe backstage and tells him not to get into any trouble, because Foley seems legit. Joe just tells him to mind his own business.

Match 2: Angelina Love vs Daisy Haze [Non-Title]
Haze starts out on fire, but Angelina crotches her up top and hits an impressive superplex for a long two-count. She continues her beatdown and goes for the Bicycle Kick, but Haze ducks under and grabs a roll-up! ONE! TWO! THR – Love kicks out! They both get up and Love tosses her against the ropes, but Haze comes off with a crossbody! She picks her up and nails the Mind Trip! ONE! TWO! THREE!

Kevin Nash tells Kurt Angle backstage that he knows that they’ve got power, but Foley does hold some pull, and it’d be best not to set off a big chain of events. He says basically to just avoid Samoa Joe at all costs, until their match at Bound For Glory.

Match 3: Jihad vs 2 Crazy Negroes
Fast-paced match, building off the bit of heat from last week. Jihad actually work very well as a cohesive unit, having spent a lot of time tagging over the past 10 months on Xplosion. They isolate Creed for a bit, but he eventually floats over a double suplex and hits a double neckbreaker on both opponents. He makes the hot tag and Lethal cleans house, finally hitting the Lethal Combination on Dutt. ONE! TWO! THR – Bashir breaks it up! He picks Lethal up, but Lethal hits him with a big fist that knocks him right into the Creed-DT! Lethal climbs to the top rope and nails the Lethal Elbow on Dutt! ONE! TWO! THREE!

Creed and Lethal celebrate in the ring and throw up the Black Power sign before going to the back.

Petey Williams is backstage with Eric Young, and he talks about how he used to respect Scott Steiner so much, but now he’s nothing but a coward. He says that Steiner was once like a father, and he kicked him out to the curb like he was nothing.

Scott Steiner is backstage and says that if Petey Williams were his son, he would neglect him like he does his real son too. And he kicked Petey out to the curb because he IS nothing.

Mick Foley is sitting in his office, with Chuck Taylor watering some plants. Doug Williams comes in and Foley tells him that since he beat Dave Taylor on Xplosion, he will indeed take part in the ROH Invitational. He says that he’s got a HUGE signing for the biggest show of the year, and it’s somebody who approached him about a match, after Doug’s kind words about Nigel McGuiness. At BFG, Doug Williams will be facing . . . BRYAN DANIELSON~! (Note: fuck his WWE contract. I booked this like 4 months ago.)

Los Infernales and Volador are talking to a road agent (SAVIO VEGA SIGHTING~), when The Axis Powers run up and attack them from behind with flagpoles, which each have a flag of their respective countries attached to it. Then they call Savio Vega a wetback and table top him.

Match 4: Low Ki vs TJ Perkins
Rape and pillage. Perkins marks out when he gets Low Ki with a headlock takedown, but then Low Ki kills him with a bunch of knife-chops. He throws him around the ring, and then tosses him out in a fit of rage. He throws him into the steel barricade, then rolls him back in and nails the Ki Krusher. He locks in the Dragon Clutch, and Perkins taps immediately.
Winner via submission: Low Ki (3:23)

Daniels comes out and berates Low Ki for his blatant chokehold, and says that it was this attitude that always made him the weak link of the Frontline. Low Ki just scowls, and picks up Perkins’ lifeless body and nails him with a Ki Krusher, then gives Daniels the cutthroat sign.

Kaz finds Jimmy Rave backstage and tells him, no matter who they are aligned with, they’re still brothers and he hopes they can get along tonight.

Match 5: Rob Van Dam/Abyss vs Frankie Kazarian/Jimmy Rave
Lots of communication problems up front between Abyss and Rob Van Dam, while Kaz and Rave continue to mesh fairly well together. When Rave trips up RVD from behind, Kaz pounces and keeps him down with some neck work, but Van Dam fights back with his kicks. He gets off the Steamroller Slam and then hits the Rolling Thunder. He goes up top to end it, but Abyss tags himself in! He plants Kaz with a chokeslam and covers, BUT RVD PULLS HIM OFF! They argue, allowing Kaz and Rave to both attack Abyss from behind. They keep him isolated for a little with a lot of cheating, but Abyss fights back with his pow-ah. He elbows Kaz off the apron and then nails Rave with a big power bomb! ONE! TWO! THR – Rave kicks out! He throws him against the ropes for the Black Hole Slam, but Rave holds onto the ropes. Abyss charges, but Rave slides out of the way, and RVD makes a blind tag without Abyss knowing! Abyss charges at Rave and kills him with a lariat and covers, but the ref tells him that he’s not legal. RVD and Abyss argue again, allowing Rave to tag in Kaz, who springboards in with a dropkick to Van Dam. The heels isolate him for a good stretch, going back to his neck. When Rave goes for a Tornado DDT, RVD shoves him off and nails a big roundhouse kick. He backs up and hits the Rolling Thunder! Kaz climbs into the ring, but RVD meets him with a spin kick, then tosses him to the outside! Van Dam signals for the end and climbs to the top, BUT ABYSS SHOVES HIM OFF! He hits the mat and struggles to his feet, and he walks right into a Spine Bomb, that Tenay calls the All of the Rave! ONE! TWO! THREE!

Abyss climbs back into the ring and picks RVD up and plants him with a Shock Treatment! Abyss stands over RVD, but then Rave and Kaz come from behind and plant him with a legsweep/roundhouse kick combination! They celebrate for a while, but then Kaz turns and hits him with the Wave of the Future! He stands tall in the ring as his Monster’s Ball opponent are laid out.

Raven tells Kaz backstage that he needs to excel in Monster’s Ball and prove to Jimmy Rave and the world that Raven is the man to follow.

Match 6: Robert Roode/James Storm w/ Harris vs Alex Shelley/Jimmy Jacobs w/ Sabin
Jimmy Jacobs is fucking insane right off the bat, laying into Roode non-stop with clubs. The ref pulls him off, but he jumps right back on, and it takes Shelley to pull him off to prevent the DQ. Things settle down into a basic formula, but when Roode continuously skirts away from facing Jacobs, Jacobs gets drawn into the distraction and James Storm lays him out with a back suplex. He works over Jacobs some, and sends him off the ropes, but Jacobs ducks under his lariat AND HE RUNS THROUGH AND SPEARS ROBERT ROODE OFF THE APRON!!! They both crash to the outside as we go to break.

Back in the ring, Jacobs clearly sacrificed himself and is being worked over by both heels. Roode is extra vicious, shouting at him at the same time. He tosses Jacobs into the corner and charges, but Jacobs gets a leg up! He tries to make the hot tag, but Roode cuts him off with a running back elbow. He picks him up for a power bomb, but Jacobs rolls through and runs over to tag Shelley! Shelley cleans house, including a run-in by Storm. Shelley goes for the Shellshock on Roode, but Roode powers out and tries for the Payoff. Shelley knees his way out, AND HE HITS A SUPERKICK! ONE! TWO! THRE – Storm breaks it up! He picks Shelley up for the Eye of the Storm, but Shelley counters mid-air with a tornado DDT! He gets up, and Roode hits him with the Northern Lariat! ONE! TWO! THR – Jacobs breaks it up! Roode pokes Jacobs in the eye and tosses him out of the ring then turns back to Shelley, who nails him with an enzuigiri! Storm climbs into the ring and goes for a lariat, but Shelley ducks, AND STORM NAILS ROODE! Shelley grabs a stunned Storm and hits the Sliced Bread #2! He turns back to Roode and stomps him in the head for good measure, then tags in Jacobs! He goes up top for the Senton, BUT ROODE MOVES! Roode covers, but Shelley immediately pulls him off. But James Storm rushes the ring and takes Shelley out with a high knee! He measures Shelley on the outside, AND JAMES STORM HITS A PLANCHA TO THE OUTSIDE HOLY SHIT! Back in the ring, Robert Roode picks Jacobs up for the Payoff, but Jacobs drops down and grabs an inside cradle! ONE! TWO! THREE!

Jacobs hops up and celebrates the biggest pin of his TNA career to date, as Robert Roode looks absolutely stunned. The Machineguns celebrate, but Beer Money attack them from behind, and a big brawl breaks out. Security has to detain them, and it takes a lot of them.

Security is still trying to split up AMW in the ring, so we go backstage to find Samoa Joe leaving his locker room. He walks toward the main area, where KURT ANGLE~ is standing, talking on the phone. Both of their eyes widen. Angle goes back to the phone and says, “Oh sorry, some fatass just walked by and looked at me weird,” and Joe responds, “This fatass could kick your ass,” and Angle flicks him off! Joe sprints full speed at him and tackles him to the ground, and the two begin brawling around! The fight spills all around the arena, going through dressing rooms and backstage areas! It spills out to the concession stand and the bathroom, and there’s no security around to split them up! They knock backstage workers and production equipment over the entire way. It spills out to the ring, and the fight is still back-and-forth! Security finally shows up and enters the ring, but they both attack the security so that they can keep on each other! Security finally gets things under control, and Mick Foley comes out and he is PISSED.

He says that he warned that there would be repercussion if either of them disrupted iMPACT, and he meant it. He says that, quite frankly, TNA isn’t big enough for both Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle. So, at Bound For Glory, their match will be a LOSER IS FIRED MATCH!!! Both guys glare at each other with HATE~ and try to fight away from security, but they detain them firmly.

Match 7: AJ Styles vs Tomko w/ Rhino
This is a basic big man versus little man match at the start, with Styles having to work his way around Tomko to get him down. He gets some good kicks in, but Tomko shoves him off and hits a big lariat. He tosses him around some, but Styles comes back after ducking a big boot and hitting a discus elbow. He runs off the ropes, but Rhino grabs his foot. Tomko charges, but Styles ducks under and sends him to the outside! Rhino runs over to check on him, and Styles takes them both out with a corkscrew plancha!

--Commercial Break--

Styles continues his head of steam, but Tomko scouts the back flip into a reverse DDT, and tosses Styles forward into the turnbuckle! Styles hurts his leg in the bump, so Tomko sticks with that, and then seems to remember Styles’ bad ankle, so he targets that some. He finally picks Styles up for the Argentine Neckbreaker, but Styles spins out, but he lands on his bad ankle. Tomko runs off the ropes with the big boot, but Styles sees it coming and ducks. Tomko keeps running off the ropes, and Styles sets up for his dropkick sequence, but Tomko recognizes the set-up, and he runs out of the way! Cornette puts over how both guys know each other’s arsenals so well from teaming with each other. Styles hobbles up and Tomko comes off the ropes with a HUGE diving lariat, flipping Styles inside out! ONE! TWO! THR – Styles kicks out! He picks Styles up for the two-handed chokeslam, but Styles kicks his legs up and grabs a hurricanrana! He climbs to the top, but Tomko gets up as well. Styles leaps off with a crossbody, but Tomko catches him and plants him with a power slam! ONE! TWO! THR – Styles kicks out! Tomko picks him up and goes for the Argentine Neckbreaker again, but Styles again spins out. He kicks Tomko in the gut and tries the Styles Clash, but Tomko is too big and he pushes out of it. Tomko goes for another big boot, but Styles ducks and goes for the Pele, but Tomko dodges it. He quickly picks Styles up AND HE HITS THE BERNARD BOMB~! ONE! TWO! THR – Styles kicks out! Tomko is pissed off as he climbs to the top rope. When Styles gets up, Tomko leaps with a clothesline, but Styles hits a spin kick on him from mid-air! Tomko starts to get up, so Styles runs over and PUTS IN THE CATTLE MUTILATION! Tomko struggles, but he’s close enough to the ropes to get a foot on the bottom one. They both get up, but Styles strikes first with a big elbow. Tomko hits one of his own, but Styles comes back with a series of them. Tomko pushes him away, shoving him all the way to the corner. He charges, but Styles gets a boot up, then jumps to the second rope. Tomko turns around, and Styles jumps off with a neckbreaker from the top! He climbs up top, but then he decides to go to the apron instead. He springboards in AND NAILS A 450 SPLASH! ONE! TWO! THREE!

AJ Styles celebrates in the ring, but Rhino attacks him from behind! Tomko gets up and looks confused, but then just slides out of the ring. Rhino keeps stomping away and then picks him up for a powerbomb, but Christian Cage pulls him down to safety! He tells Rhino to get out of the ring, and not to attack Styles at all before his match with him. Styles offers his hand to Christian, but the champion just holds up his belt as the show fades.

Kurt Angle comes out to start the show and says that he and Samoa Joe have never gotten along at any point in their TNA careers, and that’s why things are extra personal. He reminds Joe that he was the first person to hand him a TNA loss, and now he gets to be the last person to hand him a TNA loss. Samoa Joe comes out and darts for the ring, but Mick Foley rushes out and immediately tells Joe that if he touches Angle outside of a match, he will be fired. No questions asked. He does say that there will be an opportunity to get his hands on Angle before Bound For Glory, because tonight we will see Samoa Joe/AJ Styles/Homicide take on Kurt Angle/Kevin Nash/Sean Waltman.

--Commercial Break--

Match 1: Christopher Daniels/Alex Koslov/Kiyoshi w/ The Axis Powers & Elix Skipper vs Low Ki/Los Infernales w/ Volador
Fast-paced sprint, pretty much. Low Ki murderizes everyone, except Daniels, who avoids him at all costs. After some interference from Skipper, the Powers jump Low Ki and force him to tag out to Mephisto. The luchas try their best to keep up, but the numbers shut them down and Averno ends up getting isolated for a bit. Daniels tags in and blindsides Averno with a running STO. He picks him up and goes for the Angel’s Wings, but Low Ki runs over and nails him with a high-impact front dropkick! They brawl up the ramp as Kiyoshi climbs into the ring. He and Averno go back and forth, until Averno gets off a monkey flip-low lariat combination! ONE! TWO! THR – Koslov breaks it up. Mephisto springboards into the ring and takes Koslov out with a crossbody! Kiyoshi picks Averno up, but Averno whips out a spinning heel kick! He goes up top, but Schulz distracts the ref while Magnus runs over and throws Averno off the turnbuckle! He staggers up and Kiyoshi nails the DEATH VALLEY DRIVA-AH~! ONE! TWO! THREE!

Daniels and Low Ki continue brawling up the ramp, while all of the Axis Powers beatdown the luchas. Koslov, Kiyoshi, and Magnus hit their finisher on the three as Schulz cheers them on. Foley comes out and says that Schulz will be able to get in on the action at Bound For Glory, because it will now be an 8-man tag team match. The fourth member on the lucha’s team will be lucha libre superstar, MISTICO~!~!

Jimmy Jacobs is backstage and says that he’s been laying low in TNA for a while, but Robert Roode is going to find out what happens when you wake up the sleeping wrestling monster inside him. He says that Roode’s money can buy him cars, houses, and prostitutes, but it will never buy him passion. He says that he has a passion for wrestling, and that’s what going to propel to victory at BFG, and further success in TNA.

A video plays of Doug Williams instructing how to apply technical wrestling moves, and it’s directed toward Bryan Danielson, so as to teach him how to actually wrestle, according to Williams.

Match 2: Eric Young w/ Petey Williams vs Booker T w/ Scott Steiner
This is a pretty basic brawl, with both goes going all out for what is somewhat of their own BFG match. Steiner trips up Young early on, and Booker T comes off the ropes with a neckbreaker, and then continues the neck work. EY elbows out of the Book End and then comes back with his fiery short-arm clotheslines. He runs off the ropes for a crossbody, but Booker moves out of the way and then hits him with a big roundhouse. ONE! TWO! TH – Young kicks out! Booker picks him up again for the Booker End, but young slides behind him and hits a German Suplex, holding the bridge! ONE! TWO! THR – Booker kicks out! He tries for the Spike Piledriver, but Booker back body drops him. He goes for the Axe Kick, but Young dodges it and connects with a Northern Lights Suplex! ONE! TWO! THRE – Booker barely gets an arm up! Young quickly scoops him up and then slams him down, and goes up top. Steiner hops on the apron, but Petey runs across and tackles him off! Young turns back and jumps off the top, but Booker meets him with a missile dropkick out of mid-air! ONE! TWO! THRE – YOUNG KICKS OUT! Booker backs up and waits for Young to get up, then goes for the Axe Kick, but Young dodges it again, and grabs a roll-up! ONE! TWO! THRE – Booker T kicks out! Young goes for a German Suplex, but Booker T blocks it, turns around, and sets up for the Book End. Young pushes him away and goes for a neckbreaker, but Booker shakes him off. He jumps for a side high kick, but EY ducks, and then kicks him in the gut. Booker T doubles over, and Eric Young plants him with the Spike Piledriver! ONE! TWO! THREE!

Eric Young celebrates in the ring, as Williams continues chasing Steiner around the ring, but Steiner escapes through the crowd.

Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley are in Detroit, explaining that they came to their hometown a few days earlier, to fully get ready for Bound For Glory. They explain how bad they want this, and how long they’ve wait, and how the TNA tag team champions would mean more than anything at this point in their careers. And they add that there would be no better place to win them than in the Motor City itself.

We come back to find a video promo of America’s Most Wanted, who are also in Detroit a couple days early. However, the tag team champions have a different view of the Motor City. They talk about how shitty it is, and then they run around shouting at random people on the street. They also piss on the Spirit of Detroit statue, and push children over at Comerica Park.

Match 3: Matt Morgan vs Raven vs Lance Rock
Raven rolls to the outside right at the start, and just watches as Matt Morgan and Lance Rock have a power-off. Morgan eventually gets the better of it, and catches Rock off the ropes with a sidewalk slam, but Raven breaks up the count. Morgan chases him out of the ring, then turns right into a diving clothesline. Rock throws around his power a bit, and goes for a chokeslam, but Raven sneaks in and grabs a roll-up on Rock! ONE! TWO! THR – Morgan sees it and breaks it up! Morgan goes for the Hellevator on Raven, but he gouges the eyes and then crawls to the outside. Rock is up and goes for a big boot on Morgan, but Morgan ducks and meets Lance Rock with a chokeslam to the knee! ONE! TW – Raven pulls Morgan off and covers for himself! ONE! TWO! THRE – Morgan breaks it up! Raven tries to escape again, but Morgan catches him and this time he plants him with the Hellevator! ONE! TWO! THREE!

Now he’s just got to quash the little people to get to the top, and that’s what he’s going to do to Jimmy Jacobs at Bound For Glory.

Match 4: Angelina Love w/ The Beautiful People vs Christie Hemme w/ Daisy Haze [Non-Title]
Haze pretty much squashes Hemme, who only gets in a bit of offense. She’s a complete bitch to her too, and taunts Haze whenever she gets the chance. The Bicycle Kick ends it.
Winner via pinfall: Angelina Love (2:45)

Daisy Haze runs down to save Hemme from a beatdown, but Love runs at her with the title. Haze ducks under and then connects with the Mind Trip!

Christian Cage is backstage and says that one day, AJ Styles will be a huge star, but it will not be at his expense. He promises that after he beats AJ at Bound For Glory, he will grant him a handshake. And then, perhaps, he would be willing to take him under his wing once again.

AJ Styles is with Lauren, and explains that, while Christian was gone, he was finally able to escape his shadow and unfold into his own person. Now that he’s back, he’s not willing to go back to being a sidekick. This time, he’s going to force his way out of the shadow and go on to reestablish himself as the face of TNA, instead of these infiltrators that he’s been fight against all year.

Chris Daniels tells Lauren that his last X-Division title run was cut short by a foreign barbarian, and he’s not going to let that happen again.

Match 5: AJ Styles/Samoa Joe/Homicide/Jimmy Jacobs vs Kurt Angle/Sean Waltman/Kevin Nash/Robert Roode
Really fun match. A couple commercial breaks to split it up, but basically Homicide and Jacobs were both isolated at different points, with Joe cleaning house first, and then Styles. Angle and Joe killed each other in the ring with raw chops and punches. They spilled out and it turned into Roode/Jacobs, where Jacobs was SO close to winning after another roll-up. Styles gets in and takes it to Roode, but Roode tags in Nash. Nash tries to toss Styles around, and gets some offense after Waltman gets involved. Styles almost makes a hot tag, but Angle runs across and knocks Joe off the apron, and they end up brawling around outside, and eventually Joe puts them both through the announce table with a power slam! In the ring, Roode pulls Jacobs to the outside, and they brawl. Nash tries a big boot on Styles, but he ducks and hits the Pele! ONE! TWO! THR – Waltman breaks it up! He goes for the Comedown on Styles, but Homicide springboards in with a dropkick to Waltman, and then tosses him out. Nash grabs Homicide, but Homicide turns around with a big up-shoot kick. He stumbles backwards into a top-rope crossbody from Styles. AJ goes up top and hits the Spiral Tap! ONE! TWO! THREE!

With Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle still down on the outside and Roode and Jacobs brawling up the ramp, AJ Styles and Homicide celebrate in the ring. Sean Waltman rushes the ring and tackles Homicide out, and those two brawl along the outside! Kevin Nash is up and goes for a big boot on Styles, but he ducks it, and then dropkicks Nash out of the ring. Meanwhile, Christian Cage has snuck into the ring! He looks like he’s about to bash Styles over the head with his championship belt, but he reconsiders it once Styles turns around. AJ looks at him with caution, but Cage just holds up his title instead, and Styles glares across at him to end the show.

T-Pain and Taylor Swift performed the National Anthem. Yep.

Commentary ran down the card and talked about what a big night it was. Also, Don West wore a birthday hat.

The Axis Powers came down to the ring with shirts of their respective countries on. The luchas came out after a Mistico hype video, with “Viva la Detroit” shirts on.

Match 1: The Axis Powers vs Los Infernales/Volador/Mistico [International Invitational]
This was a sprint from the start. Mistico began in to woo the crowd, but then the rest of the luchas got in. The Powers used all the cheap tricks to try to ground the faces. A few minutes in, Schulz got pinballed around. Volador hurricanranaed him into a double dropkick by Los Infernales, and then Mistico got up top and nailed an Asai Moonsault! ONE! TWO! THRE – Koslov broke it up! He stomped at Mistico and then dragged Schulz to his corner to tag in. He sprinted at Mistico, but a headscissors sent him into the ropes. He ran off, and went for the El Pendulo (619), but Koslov caught him by the feet and nailed a double-leg slam! He tagged in Kiyoshi and the two went for a double suplex, but Mistico floated over and hits a double neckbreaker, then tagged in Mephisto! Los Infernales both got in and cleaned house, taking out Koslov and Kiyoshi with stereo crossbodies. They tagged in Volador, and then ran over and intercepted Magnus with the TOTAL ELIMINATION~! Volador picked up Koslov and went for a suplex, but Koslov floated over and nailed the Red Scare!! ONE! TWO! THR – Mistico broke it up! Koslov tagged in Schulz and then ran over to dive at Mistico, but he moved AND KOSLOV NAILS THE STEEL BARRICADE! In the ring, Schulz went for a pumphandle slam on Volador, but Volador counter into hurricanrana that sent him into the ropes. Mistico climbed in and hit the El Pendulo!!! Schulz stumbed back and Volador spin wheel kicked him into the corner. Mephisto put him up top and climbed up, and Averno went over as well. They both went up, AND HIT THE SPANISH FLY!!!!! Mistico ran over and took out Kiyoshi and Magnus with a tope con hilo, as Volador covered! ONE! TWO! THREE!

The Main Event Mafia arrived backstage in their limousine, and Sharmell opened the door for all of them to exit. Nash told everybody to go get ready for their matches, but then but told Booker T to stay back so he can tell him something.

A hype video for the Roode/Jacobs feud played, dating back to Hard Justice to where Jacobs was taken out by Beer Money Inc.

Match 2: Robert Roode vs Jimmy Jacobs
Roode tried to toy around with Jacobs at the start, but the smaller guy totally held his own and then even got the better of Roode after an arm drag and a subsequent arm bar. Jacobs eventually fell into Roode’s experience, and Roode targeted the arm. Jacobs kept countering and eventually sent Roode to the outside, and then hit a plancha to the outside. They brawled around for a bit, and Jacobs ended up ducking a lariat, and then spearing Roode into the barricade! Jacobs starting kicking away at the back like a wild man, and eventually continued his work back on the inside. He picked Roode up for a powerbomb, but Roode held his weight and back body dropped Jacobs to the apron. Jacobs tried with a quick elbow, but Roode ducked and then snapped Jacobs neck across the top rope, and then suplexed him to the inside. ONE! TWO! TH – Jacobs kicked out. Roode immediately went back to work on Jacobs’ arm, and finally clinched in a fujiwara armbar, but Jacobs made it to the ropes. Roode pulled him back to the center, BUT JACOBS GRABBED A ROLL UP! ONE! TWO THR – Roode kicked out! Jacobs went right to kicking at Roode’s back, but Roode cut him off with a trachea chop. He ran off the ropes for a Harley Race high knee, but Jacobs dodged it and then hit a snap DDT! He locked in the End Times, but Roode easily got out by punching at his hurt arm. They both got him and Jacobs went for a springboard dropkick, but Roode slapped him out of the way. He tried the Roode Awakening, but Jacobs elbowed out and, ran off the ropes, and went for a running arched boot, but Roode ducked AND JIMMY HIT THE REF!! He looked down in horror and then turned around RIGHT INTO A LOW BLOW!! Roode immediately rolled out of the ring and grabbed a steel chair, then took it back to the ring. As soon as Jacobs got up, Roode swing at him, but Jacobs ducked, ran off the ropes, and then took him out with a Spear! He really hurt his arm, but he managed a cover, but the ref was still down! With Roode still down, Jacobs went up top for the Senton, BUT ROODE GOT THE KNEES UP! They both got up, and Jacobs turned around RIGHT into a chair shot! Roode threw the chair onto the mat, and picked up Jacobs. He set him up for a Pay Off on the chair, just like he did at Hard Justice! AND HE NAILED IT! He threw the chair out of the ring shook the ref to life and then covered, as the ref tried his best to count. ONE! . . . TWO! . . . THRE – NO! JACOBS KICKED OUT! Roode was irate and began screaming at the ref for a while. He about reared back to punch him, WHEN JACOBS SNUCK UP WITH A ROLL UP! ONE! TWO! THRE – Roode kicked out! Jacobs stumbled to his feet, and Roode hit the Northern Lariat! ONE! TWO! THRE – JACOBS KICKED OUT! Roode pulled him up and tried the Payoff, but Jacobs spin out and then ran him all the way to the corner turnbuckle. Roode tried to elbow out, but Jacobs ducked and hit him with headbutt! Roode stutter stepped, so Jacobs grabbed him by the neck and went for the Michigan Code, but his arm gave out mid-air, so it wasn’t hit perfectly. Nonetheless, he made the cover! ONE! TWO! THRE – Roode kicked out! Jacobs went up top again, but this time Roode was up to stop him. They fought back and forth for a while, and Jacobs got the advantage after a series of headbutts! He tried to knock Roode off, but Roode poked his thumb to Jacobs’ eye to stop him. He delivered some stiff elbows, and then set Jacobs up for the Payoff from the top! Here it is … SUPER PAYOFF!!!! ONE! TWO! THREE!!!

Robert Roode celebrated up the ramp, as Jacobs slowly got up. The Michigan crowd gave Jacobs a standing ovation, appreciating his effort against Roode.

Jeff Jarrett arrived backstage, seemingly trying to avoid anybody, but Lauren caught up to him. She asked what his thoughts about tonight are, and he said that it’s a big night for TNA, and it’s already off to a great start. She asked him if any match stands out, and he said that he would love nothing more than for Kurt Angle to be gone from TNA. Lauren asked for a hint about what his big announcement is for tonight, and he said she’d have to wait just like everyone else.

A Bryan Danielson hype video played, but then Doug Williams came out to talk some trash, instigating Danielson to come out and the match to start.

Match 3: Doug Williams vs Bryan Danielson [ROH Invitational]
They went right to the mat, and Danielson repeatedly owned Williams. He even went for the Cattle Mutilation early on, but Williams managed to get the ropes quickly. Danielson invited a lock-up again, and Williams faked going in, but then exploded with a huge knee right to the chin. He kept up the attack, throwing fiery knees to a downed Danielson. He then locked in a headlock and loudly proclaimed that he is clearly the greatest technical wrestler ever. Danielson fought to a vertical base and threw Williams against the ropes, but Williams came back with crazy-looking double knees. He delivered the knee pain again, and then locked in an armbar, again proclaiming his superiority. Danielson managed to spin out of the bar and put Williams in one of his own, and then he took him to the mat and started killing him with elbows. Williams got to the ropes to force a break, but Danielson forced him up. He tried an underhook suplex, but Williams slipped an arm out, took Danielson down to the mat and locked in his British Figure Four. Danielson made it to the ropes, but clearly favored his knee. Williams taunted him a bit, kicking away at his knee. He went for a running knee, but Danielson ducked it and hit a bunch of European uppercuts! Williams stumbled and Danielson ran off the ropes for an elbow smash, but Williams ducked and planted him with a DDT. He went up top and tried for the Bombs Away, but Danielson moved. Williams saw him move in time and managed to land on his feet, BUT HE TURNED RIGHT INTO THE ROARING ELBOW! ONE! TWO! THRE – Williams kicked out! Danielson managed to keep Williams grounded for a while, but when he went for a belly to back suplex, Williams flipped out and grabbed him from behind. He tried for the Chaos Theory, but Danielson held on to the corner. He elbowed up and jumped to the second rope, then tried a European Uppercut from off the top. Williams moved, and then came off the ropes with a HUGE high knee! Danielson hit the mat hard, and Williams went up top. He tried the Bombs Away again, but Danielson moved, and this time Williams’ knees crashed into the mat. He limped up, but Danielson dropkicked his legs out from under him, and then locked in a Boston Crab! Williams wailed around and finally made it to the ropes, BUT BRYAN DANIELSON HAS TIL FIVE, REFEREE!!! He picked Williams up, but Williams poked him in the eye, and then slapped him across the face! He grabbed him from behind and ran him into the corner for the Chaos Theory, but Danielson blocked it with his legs. He then unattached Williams’ arms, flipped him over to the mat, and he locked in the Cattle Mutilation! Williams was nowhere near the ropes! DOUG WILLIAMS TAPPED!

Booker T was furious, stomping down the hallway, but Lauren also caught up to him. She asked him what the problem is, and he shouted at her to leave him the hell alone.

A video of the Homicide/Waltman feud played, going over the obvious X-Division heat, but also the deeper Frontline/Mafia stuff.

Match 4: Homicide vs Sean Waltman w/ Kevin Nash
This was mostly Waltman being a dick and avoiding Homicide, but constantly telling him to “suck it.” When Homicide started to RAGE~, Waltman bumped big, but then Nash tripped Homicide up and let Waltman pounce with a spinning wheel kick. Nevertheless, the ref sent Nash to the back for his efforts. Waltman complained to the ref, but turned right around into a West Brooklyn lariat! ONE! TWO! THR – Waltman got a foot on the ropes! Homicide kept up his attack with really stiff strikes, and then a set of suplexes for a bunch of long two counts. He went up top for the Frog Splash, but Waltman moved! He stomped away and used the ropes to choke out Homicide, and then hit a big German suplex, holding the bridge! ONE! TWO! THR – Homicide kicked out! He tried another German, but Homicide blocked it and then hit a Dragon suplex! ONE! TWO! THR – Waltman got an arm up. Homicide measured him up and went for the 187, but Waltman shoved him away. Homicide got up, and Waltman came off the ropes with flying clothesline! He went up top, and lept off with a senton bomb, but Homicide moved! He picked him up for the Gringo Killer, but Waltman spun through and grabbed a roll-up! ONE! TWO! THR – Homicide got out. Waltman picked him up and tried the Syxx Factor, but Homicide shoved him off and tried the 187 again, but Waltman grabbed onto the ropes to stop it. Waltman tried a superkick, but Homicide caught the leg and hit an enzuigiri! ONE! TWO! THR – Waltman kicked out! Homicide went out to the apron and springboarded in, but Waltman caught him midair with a missile dropkick!!! Homicide folded in half and then crawled into the corner, AND HE SET HIMSELF UP~! HERE IT COMES! Waltman rears up, and … BRONCO BUSTER~!~! Homicide stumbled to his feet, and Waltman kicked him in the gut. He went for the Comedown, but Homicide spun out AND HE HIT THE 187 OUT OF NOWHERE!! ONE! TWO! THREE!!

Booker T found Scott Steiner backstage and told him to find somebody else to be in his corner if he wanted, because he sure as hell won’t be. Steiner asked what the hell is going on, but Booker just stormed off.

Petey Williams was backstage with Lauren and said that he’s going to show the world that it’s time for Poppa Pump to sit down and make room for Petey Pump. He walked away just as Chuck Taylor walked up to Lauren and asked her when the post-show staff meeting was. She said they’re still on air, and Chuck Taylor marked out that he made it onto TNA’s biggest show of the year.

A video package played of the Steiner/Williams feud. It went all the way back to Feast or Fired, where their alliance began. It traced up to where Steiner turned on him for the sake of the Main Event Mafia, and Petey’s subsequent return, along with their numerous encounters in MEM/Frontline and tag team matches.

Match 5: Scott Steiner vs Petey Williams w/ Eric Young
Petey tried to match Steiner in power from the very start, and of course that didn’t work. Steiner worked him over for a bit with some really impressive suplexes, but Petey fought back after a flash hurricanrana. He tried for the Canadian Destroyer, but Steiner shoved away and then hit a big lariat that turned Petey inside out. He tried for the Steiner Recliner, but Petey crawled out of it, and then tried to fight him into the Sharpshooter. Steiner powered out and went for another lariat, but Petey scouted this one and took him down with a legsweep. He went for the Canadian Destroyer again, but Steiner back body dropped him. He did his theatrics and went for the elbow drop, but Petey moved and then got up and nailed a swinging neckbreaker. And then he did the bicep-kiss/push-up spiel with the elbow drop to Steiner! He went up top, but Steiner threw the ref into the ropes to crotch him. He climbed up, AND HE HIT THE FRANKENSTEINER! ONE! TWO! THRE – PETEY KICKED OUT! He picked Petey up and went for the Steiner Screwdriver, but Petey floated over, kicked Steiner in the gut, AND HE HIT SCOTT STEINER WITH A POWER BOMB!!!!!!! He quickly locked in the Sharpshooter, and Steiner tried to fight it. He almost got to the ropes, but Petey dragged him back to the middle of the ring, AND SCOTT STEINER TAPPED OUT!!

Petey Williams got up and celebrated like crazy. Scott Steiner slowly looked up, and the two stared across at each other. Steiner finally just nodded his head, grabbed his headpiece from ringside, and handed it to Petey Williams, then headed to the back. Williams put it on and celebrated some more.

Another video package played, this one outlining the Monster’s Ball feud that started all the way at Against All Odds by branching off from Rock N Rave vs Abyss and Matt Morgan.

Match 6: Abyss vs Rob Van Dam vs Jimmy Rave vs Frankie Kazarian [Monster’s Ball]
Spot fest, USA. I would go through the story of the match, but there wasn’t much progression. Honestly just a brutal weaponry spot fest. There was an element of Kaz and Rave working together at some points, but only so far as them both trying to out-perform the other in their brutality against both Van Dam and Abyss. I’ll just call some note-worthy spots: Abyss chokeslammed Kaz through the Spanish announce table; Kaz threw Rave off the stage and onto Abyss and RVD; Van Dam hit a big splash onto Abyss off of a ladder; and all three guys worked together to powerbomb Abyss off the top turnbuckle. Anyway, at one point, Abyss laid out everybody with a garbage can, and then poured out his thumbtacks! He went for the Black Hole Slam on Kaz, but Rave saved him and then bashed Abyss with a steel chair to send him into the tacks! Van Dam springboarded in, dropkicking Rave while simultaneously chucking a steel chair into Kaz’s face! He went up top and nailed the Five Star Frog Splash on Kaz, ONE! TWO! THRE – RAVEN BROKE IT UP! WHAT THE FUCK! He stomped away at RVD, but then turned right around into a chokeslam from Abyss! Abyss picked Van Dam up for the Shock Treatment, but Kaz and Rave tackled him from behind, and then creamed him with a con-wooden plank-to! They both covered, and then began brawling over who would get the fall! Kaz went for the Wave of the Future, but Rave spun out and hit the All the Rave! ONE! TWO! THRE – RVD pulled him off, and immediately went for a spin kick, but Rave ducked and then tossed Van Dam out of the ring! He turned back to Kaz, but Abyss was there and nailed the Black Hole Slam! ONE! TWO! THRE – Lance Rock pulled him off! Abyss tried to chokeslam him, but Raven nailed him from behind with a sledgehammer! He and Rock shook hands, BUT THEN RAVEN NAILED THE EVEN FLOW! He pulled Kaz over and draped him over Abyss, but Matt Morgan ran in and DETSROYED Raven with the Carbon Footprint!! He turned around INTO THE VAN DAMINATOR~! Van Dam got up, and Kaz hit the Wave of the Future! ONE! TWO! TH – Rave broke it up with a splash, using a steel chair!!! ONE! TWO! THRE – Abyss pulled him off and planted him with a chokeslam! ONE! TWO! THR – Van Dam broke it up! He dragged a table into the ring, but Abyss stopped him. He tried to power bomb RVD through it, BUT RVD COUNTERED WITH A HURRICANRANA THAT SENT ABYSS THROUGH THE TABLE!!! He got up and Rave went for the All the Rave, but Van Dam rolled through and sat down into a Victory Roll! ONE! TWO! THR – Rave kicked out! Van Dam went for a kick, but Rave caught it, and RVD hit the windmill kick! He went up top, but Kaz stopped him and tried the Flux Capacitor, but RVD blocked him with repeated kicks. He shoved him off, and NAILED THE FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH!! ONE! TWO! THRE – NO! ABYSS BROKE IT UP! Abyss picked Van Dam up by the neck, but he kicked out. Abyss ran off the ropes, but RVD dropped him with a spin kick, and then went for the Rolling Thunder, but RAVE NAILED HIM WITH A CHAIR! ONE! TWO! THRE – RVD KICKED OUT! Rave went over to Abyss and tried the All the Rave, but Abyss powered out AND HIT THE SHOCK TREATMENT! ONE! TWO! THRE – Kaz broke it up with a flying leg drop! He covered Abyss! ONE! TWO! THRE – ROB VAN DAM BROKE IT UP WITH THE FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH! He goes up again, and HE HITS THE SPLIT-LEGGED MOONSAULT ON KAZ! ONE! TWO! THREE!!!!

Rob Van Dam celebrated, with blood trickling down his face. The camera panned out to view all of the damage, with the other three participants, plus Matt Morgan, Lance Rock, and Raven, laid out around the arena. He limped to the back as commentary speculated where he will go from here.

Clips of Daisy Haze’s recent string of victories over the Beautiful People played, leading to the first title match of the night. Jeremy Borash came to the ring for formal introductions.

The Beautiful People came down with Angelina Love, but Mick Foley came out and told them all that they were banned from ringside.

Match 7: Angelina Love[c] vs Daisy Haze [Knockouts Championship]
They started out on the mat and showed off some finesse there. Haze went after the leg like crazy, but Love shook her off and then tossed her by the hair to the outside. They brawled around on the outside, and Haze tossed Love into the steel post. She tried a suplex on the outside, but Love floated over and hit a sick German suplex on the outside! She rolled her back in and covered! ONE! TWO! THRE – Haze kicked out! Love kept on her, but Haze fought back by going after the leg again. She went for the Mind Trip, but Love went to the eyes to escape, and then hit a rolling neckbreaker. She continued to target the neck, but Haze came off the ropes with a big leg lariat. She kept up with some impressive high-flying moves, using both the ropes and the corner at her advantage. She went up top for a crossbody, but Love moved out of the way! Love measured her up and went for the Bicycle Kick, but Haze ducked it and the sideswiped her bad leg! Love hit the mat hard, and Haze picked her up and planted her with the Mind Trip! ONE! TWO! THREE!

Daisy Haze celebrated with the belt, and Christie Hemme and Roxxi Laveaux came out to celebrate with her.

Mick Foley found Chris Daniels and Elix Skipper backstage and informed them that Elix Skipper was banned from ringside for the X-Division Championship match.

Scott Steiner found Kevin Nash backstage and asked what the hell Booker T was talking about earlier, and Nash took Steiner to a private room to discuss it.

Jeff Jarrett came out and said that he was about to announce his huge news. He went on for what seemed like forever about the sweat and toil that he put into making TNA the fantastic company that it is today. He said that had to thank all the wrestlers, the backstage worked, and of course the fans. He said there was a lot of thanks to go around, but most thanks should go to two men. With that, he called out his father, JERRY JARRETT~! Jerry went off for a while too about how hard he worked to make TNA what it is. Jeff then took back the microphone and said that TNA would be nothing if it were not for he and his father. He said that they both founded TNA over 7 years ago, and now, 7 years later, they are founding something else: THE TNA HALL OF FAME!!!!! Double J then announced his father as the very first inductee to the TNA Hall of Fame. He then built up the second inductee by listing his accomplishments, and it soon became obvious he was talking about himself. He said that he was indeed the second inductee, and so Jeff Jarrett is honoring both himself and his father by being the first, and as of now only, TNA Hall of Fame inductees. Thank you.

Commentary talked about how weird that was, but that the night was far from over.

Hype video, again. This one is for Low Ki/Chris Daniels, their extensive history, and their recent problems going back for the last few months.

Match 8: Christopher Daniels[c] vs Low Ki [X-Division Championship]
This started right away by establishing that both men knew each other’s arsenals very well. Low Ki started whipping out unique strikes and Daniels got bewildered, so he rolled to the outside. Low Ki followed him out and charged, but Daniels drop toe holded (held?) him into the steel ring post! He threw him around on the outside for a while, especially using the steel barricade. Low Ki started to fight back with big kicks, but Daniels went to the eye. He tried for a snap suplex, but Ki floated over and went for a roundhouse kick, but Daniels ducked and Low Ki kicked the post! Daniels immediately went after the leg, even locking in a Figure Four around the post. The fight ended up back in the ring, and Daniels kept on the leg, but Low Ki fought back with his sharp knife-edged chops. He ran off the ropes, but Daniels hit a low dropkick to his knees and then delivered a quick enzuigiri! ONE! TWO! TH – Low Ki kicked out. Daniels picked him up for an early Angel’s Wings, but Low Ki flipped him over, keeping the bridge! ONE! TWO! THR – Daniels got out. They both got him, and Ki raged with his chops and elbows. He started going for some kicks, but he started to slow down by favoring his leg, and Daniels got in with a few elbows, and then an Exploder Suplex! ONE! TWO! THRE – Low Ki kicked out! Daniels kicked at him some more, and then picked him up for a Death Valley Driver, but Low Ki grabbed a crucifix pin! ONE! TWO! THRE – Daniels got out! They both got up, and Low Ki went for a lariat, but Daniels ducked. Ki came off the ropes, and Daniels caught him with a Blue Thunder Driver! ONE! TWO! THR – Low Ki kicked out! Daniels kicked at the leg some more just for good measure, and then hit a knee buster, and hooked the bad leg! ONE! TWO! THR – Low Ki grabbed the ropes! Daniels tossed him into the corner and charged with a high-knee, but Low Ki moved out of the way, and then locked in the Bite of the Dragon! He held it until the ref forced him off, and then he used a strong irish whip to send Daniels flying into the opposite corner. He charged and connected with the Tidal Krush! ONE! TWO! THR – Daniels got a foot on the rope! Low Ki pounced on him and started elbowing the neck, and then he tried to lock in the Dragon Clutch, but Daniels scurried to the ropes. Ki grabbed his legs, but Daniels stayed holding onto the ropes, so he dropped him with a modified powerbomb! He dragged him to the middle of the ring and went up top. He jumped off for the Ghetto Stomp, but Daniels moved! Ki’s leg gave out under him, and he stumbled right into a running STO! Daniels ran away from him to the corner! BEST! MOONSAULT! EVER! ONE! TWO! THRE – LOW KI KICKED OUT! Daniels couldn’t believe it! He picked him up for the Angel’s Wings, but Ki spun out, AND HE HIT THE KI KRUSHER!! He crawled over for the cover, ONE! TWO! THRE – DANIELS GOT A FOOT ON THE ROPE! Low Ki took a minute to catch his breath, but then he pulled Daniels to the middle of the ring, AND HE LOCKED IN THE DRAGON CLUTCH!!! Daniels struggled, and FINALLY made it to the ropes! They were both completely fatigued, but they fought to their feet, and just started trading raw strikes in the middle of the ring. Daniels started to gain an advantage after some elbows, but then Low KI fucking RAAAAGED~ with his own badass elbows. He wound up and then NAILED Daniels with a tornado elbow! He limped to the top rope, but Daniels was up too! Low Ki tried to fight him off, but Daniels punched at his leg to slow him down. He grabbed him from behind for the Fall From Grace, but Low Ki freed his arms AND THEN STRAIGHT PUNTED DANIELS IN THE BACK OF THE SKULL!!!! Daniels fell right to the mat, and Low Ki hit a twisting elbow drop from the top rope! ONE! TWO! THRE – DANIELS KICKED OUT! Low Ki fought to his feet and then forced Daniels up. He tried the Ki Krusher, but Daniels spun out, AND HE HIT THE ANGEL’S WINGS! ONE! TWO! THRE – LOW KI KICKED OUT! Daniels lay on the mat and stared at the ceiling for a while, but then caught his breathe and got to his feet. He charged to the corner for the BME, but Low Ki got up and shoved him forward to stop his momentum! Low Ki then threw Daniels backward and got him into the Tree of Woe position. He climbed to the top, AND HE NAILED THE GHETTO STOMP ON AN EXPOSED CHRIS DANIELS!!!! The champion folded in half, and Low Ki dragged him to the middle of the ring, AND HE LOCKED IN THE DRAGON CLUTCH!!! Daniels struggled and nearly made it to the ropes at one point. He almost passed out, but he got a second wind and tried to make it to the ropes again, but Low Ki pulled back even harder! Daniels had nowhere to go! CHRIS DANIELS TAPPED OUT!!!

Scott Steiner was seen rampaging down the hall, and he swung open the exit door open, and then slammed it behind him.

The Machineguns were backstage getting ready for their match. Jimmy Jacobs came up and wished them good luck. They all hugged, and then Sabin and Shelley headed out for their huge match.

Robert Roode found AMW backstage and told them that it’s in everyone’s best interest that they walk out of here the TNA Tag Team Champions. Storm said that AMW does what AMW’s gotta do.

Clips of interviews from the Guns and AMW played. MCMG stressed that they’ve wanted the TNA Championships ever since they started teaming together three years ago, and tonight is their night. America’s Most Wanted said that they’ve always wanted to be considered the best tag team in TNA history, and since they split up, a lot of good teams have come together in TNA. Tonight’s their night to show that they’re still the best.

Match 9: America’s Most Wanted[c] vs Motor City Machineguns [Tag Team Championships]
The Guns made quick tags at the start, very wary to go against James Storm for long periods. However, they did make use of working together to keep Harris in the ring for as long as possible; they avoided his power by moving quickly, forcing him to try to keep up. When Sabin went for a springboard crossbody, Harris caught him and planted him with a power slam. AMW isolated him for a bit, but he came back quick enough after countering a Storm powerbomb into a hurricanrana, then tagging in Shelley. He hit a bunch of dropkicks on Storm, until Harris came into the ring, but Sabin intercepted him with a leg lariat, and the MCMG hit double dropkicks to send him to the outside. They turned around and Storm tried to lariat them both, but they both ducked and then hit double dropkicks on him! They kept him in the ring and went fucking insane with all of their double team moves, whipping them out one after the other! The finished it up with double superkicks, and then Shelley covered! ONE! TWO! THRE – Harris broke it up! Sabin attacked him and got him up against the ropes then charged, but Harris ducked and sent him over! Shelley ran over and started delivering elbows, but he didn’t see James Storm sneak up and nail a backpack stunner! ONE! TWO! TH – Shelley kicked out! AMW kept him on their side for a good stretch, specifically targeting his back. He consistently out-performed each guy individually, but their cheap tricks and teamwork kept holding him back. He finally got a break after flipping out of a Half Nelson Slam from Harris, and following up with the Sliced Bread #2! He tried to crawl over for the cover, but it took too long so he decided to make the hot tag instead! Sabin came in and cleaned house with flippity shit, and he hit Harris with a leg drop from up top, and Shelley cut off Storm! ONE! TWO! THRE – HARRIS KICKED OUT! Sabin picked him up and went for the Cradle Shock, but Harris powered out and hit the Catatonic! This time Storm held Shelley back! ONE! TWO! THRE - SABIN GOT A FOOT ON THE ROPES! Shelley escaped and hit Harris with a tornado DDT! But then he turned around into a big lariat from Storm, and then Storm ran off the ropes and took out Sabin with a lariat too! Harris and Sabin both crawled to their corners and tagged in at the same time, but Shelley was still shook up from the lariat, so Storm beat him around some more. He positioned him for a powerbomb, but Shelley slipped an inside cradle! ONE! TWO! THRE – Storm got out! Shelley attacked with some quick kicks, but Storm blocked one, and then hit a fisherman suplex! ONE! TWO! THR – Shelley kicked out! Storm kept beating down his back, and Harris got involved as well. Harris went for the Catatonic, but Shelley countered it into a Tornado DDT! He crawled over to Sabin, but Storm distracted the ref and didn’t see the tag, so he forced Sabin back! Shelley turned around right into a big superkick from James Storm! Harris covered! ONE! TWO! THRE – SHELLEY KICKED OUT! Sabin ran into the ring and tackled Storm through the middle of the ropes! They brawled around on the outside and they ref went over to try to split them up, and Chris Harris snuck in a beer bottle. Shelley turned around, and Harris NAILED him! ONE! TWO! THRE – SHELLEY KICKED OUT!! Harris picked up a bloody Alex Shelley up and went for the Catatonic, but Shelley countered into a front facebuster! He looked for the tag, but Storm had just laid Sabin out with a powerbomb on the outside! He turned and ran at Harris, but Harris hit a spinning spinebuster! ONE! TWO! THRE – SHELLEY KICKED OUT! He tagged in Storm, and the two signaled for the end, AND THEY HIT THE DEATH SENTENCE! ONE! TWO! THRE – SABIN BROKE IT UP!!! Storm got in and charged at Sabin, but Sabin CREAMED him with a superkick. Harris tried to Spear Shelley, but Shelley jumped over him, and then connected with a Brainbuster!!! The Machine Guns wound up, and they hit the ACSC Rush on Harris! ONE! TWO! THRE – STORM BROKE IT UP!!!! Storm tried to toss Sabin out of the ring, but Sabin landed on the apron, and he and Shelley hit a big boot/enzuigiri combination! Sabin then springboarded into the ring and planted Harris with a Twisting DDT! He and Shelley went up top in opposite corners and hit the Leg Drop/Frog Splash combination! Shelley covered! ONE! TWO! THREEEEE!!!!!

The Guns went ecstatic at having won the titles, and they immediately went to ringside and grabbed them. The Detroit crowd was going apeshit for their hometown heroes, and the Guns responded by going into the crowd to celebrate. The fans lifted them up, and the Guns started crowd surfing in the audience!!! They set them back down, and they celebrated all the way up the ramp, before turning and showing off their titles once more on the stage.

Earl Hebner found Rudy Charles and said he’ll be reffing Joe/Angle, but Charles insisted that since he was scheduled, he would do it. Foley walked by and heard both sides, and said that Rudy Charles would remain the ref. Hebner stormed off and said that Jarrett would hear about this.

Angle and Samoa Joe were both shown walking, split-screen style.

Mick Foley, Jeff Jarrett, Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman, Homicide and Low Ki, and Robert Roode were all clearly seen watching the television for the next match from various places in the arena.

The history between Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe was documented all the way back to touching on Kurt Angle giving Samoa Joe his first loss in TNA. It caught back up to recently, where Joe and Angle have constantly found themselves on opposite sides of both the MEM/Frontline feud and the chase for the TNA Championship. It concluded with several examples of Samoa Joe and/or Kurt Angle disrupting order on iMPACT in order to get at one another, and Mick Foley’s executive decision to make this match a Loser is Fired bout.

Mike Tenay announced that Mick Foley made this a NO DQ match, but with all parties banned from ringside.

Match 10: Kurt Angle vs Samoa Joe [Loser is Fired]
They started out with a lock-up and some very fine technical wrestling. Sike. They started punching each other before the bell even rang, and they both looked like they actually wanted to kill the other. They brawled around on the mat, and spilled to the outside, but there was still no break in the raw brawling. Angle created some space after some European Uppercuts, and then he threw Joe against the barricade. He charged, but Joe caught him and planted him with an STO on the ground! He then threw Angle into the barricade and backed up. He charged, and an Ole Kick sent Angle over the barricade and into the crowd! And Joe followed him over! They continued the straight brawl in the audience, and Joe used drinks and food provided by the crowd to shove in Angle’s face. He grabbed Angle by the throat, but Angle went to the eye, and then the other eye. He snatched a T-shirt from a fan, and then started choking Joe out with it! He tossed him to the ground, and then mounted him and just started throwing punches! He picked Joe up and went to toss him into the side panel, but Joe reversed and sent Angle into it instead. He then grabbed an empty steel chair from one of the rows and reared back to nail Angle, but he ducked and then hit a fucking German suplex on the floor! He tossed Joe into the stair rail, but Joe ran off and exploded with a falling clothesline! He then put Angle on the rail and ran at him for an Ole Kick, but Angle moved, and Joe crotched himself across the rail! Angle hit a series of European Uppercuts, and then led him back to the barricade, before dumping him over to ringside. He climbed over himself, but he was met by a flurry of chops! Joe then went to throw Angle into the steel post, but Angle reversed the whip, but Joe dodged the post by jumping onto the apron. Angle ran at him, but Joe kicked him square in the face. He leapt off with for a double sledge, but Angle kicked him in the gut and then hit a belly-to-belly on the outside! He rolled Joe into the ring and covered, ONE! TWO! TH – Joe kicked out! Angle kicked at his neck some, and then picked him up and tried to piledrive him, but Joe shoved him away and hit an Exploder Suplex! ONE! TWO! TH – Angle kicked out! Samoa Joe kept on the neck with stiff elbows and kicks. He went for an STF, but Angle quickly made it to the ropes. He spilled to the outside and drew Joe in, and then drove him into the ring apron. He rolled Joe into the ring and kept kicking at the back. He picked him up and seemed to try a powerbomb, but Joe held his weight, so instead Angle just dropped him with a cradle piledriver! ONE! TWO! THRE – Joe kicked out! Angle went after the neck really really aggressively, using his Olympic background to use some nice holds. Joe fought back with his power, but Angle used the ropes to help him, and the ref couldn’t force the break due to the No DQ stipulation. Angle pulled him up and hit a German Suplex, and he kept the arms linked! He went for another, but Joe blocked it and slipped behind him. He nailed Angle with a German Suplex of his own, and he kept his arms locked! He pulled Angle up, and he hit a Dragon Suplex, and still kept control of Angle. He pulled him up again and hit an X-Plex!! ONE! TWO! THRE – Angle kicked out! He immediately tried to fight Angle into the Coquina Clutch, but Angle wrestled him away, and then locked in the Ankle Lock! Joe powered out of it, sending Angle against the ropes. Angle came off, and Joe hit a Samoan Drop! ONE! TWO! TH – Angle kicked out! Angle stumbled to his feet, and Joe got behind him to try the Coquina Clutch again! He couldn’t fight Angle to the mat, so instead he threw Angle backwards with a Coquina-Plex!! ONE! TWO! THRE – ANGLE KICKED OUT! Joe picked him up and threw him into the corner and tried to fight him into the Muscle Buster, but Angle kicked him away and leaped off with a missile dropkick! ONE! TWO! THR – Joe kicked out! They both fought up and Angle went for the Olympic Slam, but Joe slid out and tried a powerbomb, but Angle rolled through with a sunset flip! ONE! TWO! THRE – JOE BARELY KICKED OUT! They both got up and Joe went for a German, but Angle blocked it, and then hit his Triple Germans! ONE! TWO! THRE – Joe kicked out! Angle picked him up and hit a quick backbreaker, then headed to the top for his MAGNIFICENT BEAUTIFUL ALL-AMERICAN MOONSAULT~! BUT SAMOA JOE MOVED! FUCK YOU, KURT ANGLE! Joe fought to his feet, and then he went up to the top himself! But Angle got up too! He ran at the ropes and tried a belly-to-belly from the top, but Joe headbutted him off! He stood up on the top again, but Angle got up again! This time he ran up and PUSHED Samoa Joe, and Joe tumbled down to the apron! Angle climbed out to the apron and tried his German Suplex from the apron, but Joe held onto the top rope! Angle tried to pull him off, but Joe held on, SO ANGLE KICKED JOE IN THE NUTS! He grabbed on from behind again, AND HE HIT THE FUCKING GERMAN SUPLEX FROM THE APRON!!! HAS HE EVER ACTUALLY HIT IT?!?! Angle quickly rolled Joe back into the ring and covered! ONE! TWO! THRE – JOE KICKED OUT! Angle immediately went for the ankle lock and held it for a while, but Joe managed to roll behind, AND HE GOT ANGLE INTO HIS OWN ANKLE LOCK! Angle quickly got to a vertical base and nailed Joe with an enzuigiri with his free leg! He picked Joe up and tried and Olympic Slam, but Joe rolled through and came off the ropes for a lariat, but Angle ducked and then HIT THE OLYMPIC SLAM! ONE! TWO! THRE –JOE KICKED OUT! Angle rolled out of the ring and grabbed a steel chair and wound up to hit Joe, but Joe ducked and came back AND KICKED THE CHAIR INTO ANGLE’S FACE! WE’VE GOT A BLEEDER! Joe threw the chair onto the ground and set Angle up for a powerbomb, but Angle dropped to his knees and punched Joe square in the nuts! He picked up the chair and CREAMED Joe across the face! WE’VE GOT ANOTHER BLEEDER! He threw the chair onto the ground and HE HIT JOE WITH AN OLYMPIC SLAM ONTO THE CHAIR! ONE! TWO! THRE – JOE KICKED OUT! Angle used the chair and bashed Joe over and over again, then finally covered once more! ONE! TWO! THRE – JOE KICKED OUT! He slapped Joe across the face and threw him into the corner then charged, but Joe moved and Angle hit the post. Joe grabbed him from behind, AND HE HIT A GERMAN SUPLEX ONTO THE STEEL CHAIR! ONE! TWO! THRE – ANGLE KICKED OUT! They both fought up to their feet and begin trading blows, but they ran out of steam and had to actually rest on each other at one point! They both exploded once more with punches, and then Joe started delivering menacing elbows! He cornered Angle and set him up top, then turned around to grab the steel chair, BUT ANGLE LEAPED OFF WITH A BULLDOG WHILE JOE WAS TURNED AROUND! ONE! TWO! THRE – JOE KICKED OUT! Angle threw him into the corner and set him up top, AND HE NAILED A SUPER OLYMPIC SLAM! ONE! TWO! THRE – JOE KICKED OUT! Angle pulled down the straps! He locked in the ankle lock and held Joe in the middle of the ring for what seemed like forever! Joe made it to the ropes, but Angle didn’t have to let go! Joe actually climbed all the way out of the ring, and Angle still had it locked in! Joe finally bounced Angle against the ropes to break the hold, but his ankle clearly bothered him. Angle climbed to the outside, but Joe met him with a powerslam on the floor! Joe rolled him in and went for the Muscle Buster, but Angle kicked at the ankle to break loose. He went for a belly-to-belly, but Joe headbutted him, AND THEN TOOK HIM DOWN WITH THE COQUINA CLUTCH!!! Angle started to fade, but he stayed in it! He refused to tap! He crawled over and managed to grab the steel chair, and began to bash Joe’s ankle with it! Joe finally released the hold, but kept elbowing Angle across the skull! They both got up, and Joe kicked Angle in the gut again. He picked him up for a powerbomb ON ONE FUCKING FOOT, BUT ANGLE HAD PICKED UP THE CHAIR AND HE NAILED JOE WITH IT!!!! ONE! TWO! THRE – NO! JOE JUST KICKED OUT!!!!! Angle was irate! He put the chair around Joe’s ankle, and went up top! He jumped right for the chair, but Joe got his ankle out, and Angle just crashed into the chair and mat! They both stumbled up, AND JOE HIT THE MUSLCE BUSTER! ONE! TWO! THRE – ANGLE KICKED OUT!!! Joe couldn’t believe it!!! He grabbed the chair and stuck it in the corner between the middle and top rope, then grabbed Angle. He charged Angle toward it, but Angle stopped himself with his arms and elbowed Joe in the gut! He then grabbed the chair and NAILED Joe with it! Joe hit the mat right in front of him, so Angle slowly climbed to the top rope. He waited for Joe to get up, and then leaped off with a crossbody, BUT JOE CAUGHT HIM!! His ankle gave out, BUT HE KEPT HOLDING ANGLE ON ONE LEG!!! Angle elbowed him like a madman, but Joe didn’t let go! He threw Angle straight into the air, and he crashed into the top turnbuckle!!! Joe climbed up as well, and he picked Angle up, while standing on one leg on the top turnbuckle!!!! BAH GAHWD~!~! SUPER MUSCLE BUSTERRRRRRR~!~!~!~!~! Joe jumped around at having probably cracked his tailbone, but he managed to crawl over and drape an arm across!!!! ONE!!!!! TWO!!!!! THREEEEEEEEEEEE~!~!~!~!

Samoa Joe slowly got up and celebrated in the ring, and then to the back. Kurt Angle very slowly rose to his feet as the crowds started the “Na na na na! Hey hey hey! Goodbye!” chant, as he lowered his head and left the TNA ring for the last time.

Mick Foley, Homicide, and Low Ki were shown in the back celebrating, along with tons of road agents. Robert Roode looked upset. Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman looked furious. And Jeff Jarrett. Well, Jeff didn’t show much emotion, but he did shove the camera guy out of the room.

Jerry Lynn was backstage and he found AJ Styles to wish him good luck tonight in the main event.

Tomko and Rhino were backstage with Christian and they insisted on coming to ringside, but Christian said that he really had to do this on his own to justify his return to TNA.

Commentary pointed out that so far, every title match has ended in a new title-holder, and they wondered if that got into Christian’s head at all.

Clips of the Bound For Glory tournament were shown, highlighting AJ Styles fighting through a hurt ankle. The video also touched on Christian’s title reign thus far, showing that he’s been able to scrape past his opponents by taking advantage of the Frontline/Mafia heat. It also discussed the long and storied past between Cage and Styles, and what each man felt going into this match.

Match 11: Christian Cage[c] vs AJ Styles [TNA World Championship]
They started off with a handshake, and do basic stuff up front, as far as technical work goes. Styles seemed to throw Cage off his game by keeping up, but Christian started to rely on his smarts to scout Styles’ moves. Styles always came back with his speed, and to be honest this was a very formulaic big man/little man match. Styles did have the added surprise of constantly going for roll-ups and cradles, but Christian got out every time and got pretty pissed off for Styles continuing to try that. He got in Styles’ face, but the challenger didn’t back down, so they started trading elbows! Christian powered Styles to the ropes and then whipped him to the other side, and he tried a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, but Styles countered into a headscissors takedown! He ran into the corner and tried his backflip-reverse DDT, but Christian dropkicked him in midair! He collided into the corner, and then stumbled back into a roll-up from Christian, and Cage grabbed the ropes for leverage! ONE! TWO! THRE – Styles kicked out! Christian picked him up and tried the Unprettier, but Styles powered him up and nailed a sunset driver! ONE! TWO! THRE – Christian kicked out! Styles went out to the apron, and springboarded in with a crossbody! ONE! TWO! THR – Christian kicked out. Styles tossed Christian into the corner and then charged with a flying elbow, but Christian moved out of the way, and then hit a pendulum kick out of the corner! Christian hopped up in the corner and then dove off with a diving European uppercut! ONE! TWO! TH – Styles kicked out! He picked Styles up and tried the Unprettier again, but Styles shoved him into the corner! Christian stumbled backwards, right into a reverse frankensteiner! ONE! TWO! THR – Christian kicked out! He got up and ran to the ropes and came back with a springboard moonsault, but Christian got the knees up! Styles held his gut, and Christian ran and drilled him with a Spear! ONE! TWO! THRE – Styles kicked out!!! Cage attacked the neck with vicious elbows and then picked him up for the inverse neckbreaker, but Styles elbowed out and countered with a Northern Lights suplex! ONE! TWO! Christian powered up and turned it around into a backslide! ONE! TWO! THR – Styles kicked up and floated over Christian, and flung him backwards onto the mat! He ran off the ropes and hit a running senton bomb! ONE! TWO! THR – Christian kicked out, but Styles immediately flipped him over and locked in an inverted STF! Christian fought to the ropes, and finally made it! Styles forced him up and tried a Brainbuster, but Christian floated over and nailed a sitout rear mat slam (Edge-O-Matic, some would say)! ONE! TWO! THRE – Styles kicked out! Cage went up top and signaled for the end, but Styles met him with a flurry of elbows. Christian knocked him down with one of his big punches, BUT STYLES HIT THE PELE TO THE TOP ROPE! Christian slumped down, and Styles climbed up, AND HE HIT A BRAINBUSTER FROM THE TOP!!! He crawled over, ONE! TWO! THRE – CHRISTIAN KICKED OUT! Styles went up and tried the Frog Splash, but Christian moved! They both fought up, and Christian immediately went for the Unprettier, but Styles slipped his arms free and then hit a discus clothesline to the back of Christian head! He went up and nailed the Frog Splash to Christian’s back! ONE! TWO! THRE – CHRISTIAN KICKED OUT! He went up top again and went for the Spiral Tap, BUT CHRISTIAN MOVED! He fought up and tried the Unprettier again, but Styles again got free. He ran off the ropes, but Christian picked him up, AND NAILED THE ARGENTINE NECKBREAKER! ONE! TWO! THRE – STYLES KICKED OUT! Christian tossed him into the corner and tried the Tornado DDT, but Styles tossed him away. He charged for a Tornado DDT of his own, but Christian countered midair into a sitout suplex! Styles stumbled up, AND CHRISTIAN HIT THE UNPRETTIERRRRR~!~! ONE!!!!! TWO!!!! THRE – NO! AJ STYLES KICKED OUT!!!! Christian couldn’t believe it! He picked Styles up and threw him into the corner then set him up top. He climbed up and looked to hit the Unprettier from up top, but Styles shoved him off! SPIRAL TA – NO! CHRISTIAN MOVED! He measured Styles up, AND CONNECTED WITH ANOTHER SPEAR! ONE! TWO! THRE – STYLES KICKED OUT! He picked Styles up, BUT STYLES GRABBED A SMALL PACKAGE! ONE! TWO! THRE – Christian got out! Christian went for another Unprettier, but Styles dropped him from behind with a leg drop bulldog!!! He pulled Christian up, but Christian tried to elbow away. Styles returned the elbows, and then put Christian’s head between his legs and lifted him up, STYLES CLASH~!~! ONE!!! TWO!! THRE – CHRISTIAN GRABBED THE ROPE BEHIND HIM!!! Styles picked him up and tried a Brainbuster, but Christian blocked it and tried a snap suplex, but Styles blocked that and hit an Implant DDT! He went up top, but Christian crotched him! He climbed up as well, but Styles kicked him off! He stood up AND HE HIT THE SPIRAL TAP!!! ONE!!! TWO!!! THREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

Styles got up and the crowd went wild with excitement as the referee handed him the TNA Championship. Confetti began to fall from the ceiling, and Styles dropped to his knees, hugging the title belt. He continued celebrating as Christian Cage slowly got to his feet. They looked across the ring at each other, and then Christian extended his hand! AJ shook it, and Christian congratulated him on his title win, and then returned to the back. Eric Young, Petey Williams, Jay Lethal, Consequences Creed, Low Ki, Homicide, Jerry Lynn, and a still beat up Samoa Joe came out and celebrated with Styles. Some of the guys hoisted him up on their shoulders, and the biggest show of the year closed with the TNA Championship back in the hands of a TNA Original.

I'll try to do a re-cap of what has gone down for you guys before posting iMPACT. Sorry this took so long, I wanted to go all out.
