TNA won Most Improved Promotion of the Year 2010. Alissa Flash won Best Female Wrestler of the Year 2010.
Simon Diamond wrestled for TNA during this period. It's as bad as it sounds.
Jeff Jarrett and Vince Russo are no longer friends; this may have caused Jarrett's demotion down the card and release.
Recently, also, there's been friction between AJ Styles and Samoa Joe...
Around the world
The latest 5-star classics: Sheamus vs. Chris Jericho, and D-Generation X vs. Matt Hardy/Rey Mysterio, both on Raw.
WrestleMania was, by all accounts, a great show. Highlights included Sheamus over Goldust, Hardy/Mysterio over Cena/Kingston, and the main event where Batista beat Shawn Michaels for the WWE Championship.

CM Punk, away from the wrestling business for a year, is now NWA Alberta's top champion, somehow.
America's Most Wanted are no longer friends, thanks to some problems Chris Harris had with James Storm.
Michael Cole was signed to ROH, then released within a week.
If Stevie Richards actually had the chance to put on good matches weekly, it's not impossible. I mean even when WWE was treatin' him like he was washed up, he and Punk were havin' the best matches on ECW.

TNA once again won Most Improved Promotion of 2011. The highest TNA wrestler on the Top 100, strangely, was Sting at 13, followed by James Storm at 16. (Dr. Stevie was at 36.)

Trouble exists between TNA stars, wtih Tomko arguing with James Storm, and Eric Bischoff and Kevin Nash no longer being friends.

Ricky Steamboat has left as WWE booker, to be replaced again by Stephanie McMahon.
There appears to be unrest among an increasingly hopeless roster, as Shawn Michaels and MVP almost came to blows.
Predictably, CM Punk has left NWA Alberta. Who knows where he is now?
Almost the entire Kliq has abandoned Sean Waltman now, with Triple H the latest to condemn. Only Shawn Michaels sticks by him.
El Dandy recently failed a drug test. Who are we, though, to doubt his innocence?
Billy Gunn and Sabu have now retired.
The midget wrestling legend and star of WrestleMania III, Lord Littlebrook, has passed away.

Kurt Angle and Matt Morgan now have A-level chemistry as Two-Man Olympiad.
The Knockouts Tag Team Championships have gone undefended for 6 months, and seem to have been quietly forgotten.
Around the world
Completely despite itself, and its increasing inability to pay the bills, WWE is still putting on great shows. They have a TV show once again, with WWE Wrestling Challenge coming to G4 TechTV on Sundays. Several ex-WWE stars have re-signed, but several others have left, including none other than Triple H!
The new big name on campus is ROH Takedown TV. Thanks to TNA's stubborn unwillingness to snap up the time slot left by Raw after its disappearance, ROH got its own show at 9pm on a Monday (on CBS) and has reaped the ratings.
Batista has left to make movies, like in real life.
Recent drug test fails: Norman Smiley, Shocker
Recent retirements: Road Warrior Animal, Honky Tonk Man
Important question, should I:
- Continue with this save?
- Restart it with the February 2010 database instead (so I get all the start-of-Hogan-era signings)?
- Restart it in TEW2020 with The Future Is Now 2010 database?
