In your opinion, what makes a GREAT match?

What do you guys think a match has to have in order to be great, and give examples of matches in the past if you like.
I would say good technical wrestling, good chain wrestling. Good story telling. Good selling of moves. Not one sided, but both wrestlers give a solid performance. I like Bret Hart vs Mr.Perfect for the IC title at Summerslam 91 I believe.

Fast Paced, little to no Restholds, Good Move Selling, How the fans are brought into the match Taunts etc..., Surprise victories and a few more i guess. This is why i highly enjoy TNA matches.

Well in my view what makes a good match is either , good wrestling abilities pushed to their limit , like Kurt Angle VS The Undertaker at No Way Out.

Or when you have a bunch of "Holy S**t moments thrown into one match , like The Undertaker VS Mankind Hell In A Cell at King Of The Ring.

Some things that make a good match for me...

--Surprise results, pin-falls.
--Lots of submission, from Submission wrestlers (Angle, Benoit, Jericho)
--SOME (not lots, and not none) huge spots, maybe a dive over/through the ropes, breaking announcers table etc
--Working the crowd into the match with taunts, attitude etc.
--Using the characters specialties (eg. Benoit and tech wrestling, Taker and brawling)
--Lots of close counts, reversals towards the end of the match.
--An obviously grueling match, blood helps, but isnt necessary.
--Good use of weapons, surroundings when available, not necessarily cheating though.

Those are some things, you dont need them all, but atleast two are good. One match that really stuck out for me, and truely impressed me was Kennedy V Hardy last week on SD, and Taker V Batista (both WM and Backlash).

-Good in ring psychology by both competitors
-Lengthy, but a good pace throughout the match
-Experienced wrestlers competing
-Talented wrestlers competing
-Reversals, good even matchup that the announcers can scream "this is an incredible battle!"
-Kickout of finishers, reversals of tap outs (not to many though)
-Heel tries cheating to win, fails
-Minor blood shed

probably forgetting some more factors but those are the main ones for me

-False Finishes
-A Back And Forth Match
-Quick, fast
-Has to have a story behind it
-No Restholds
-A Little Outside Brawling

That's all I got, and the guys that posted above's points are good too.

-Lots of reversals near end, reversing each others finishers
-Fans cheering and booing, fans into the match
-Fast paced, not many restholds
-Some blood shed can help
-Good talented wrestlers
-Feud behind the match and good build up
-Good finish, clean finish
-Surprises
-Memorable spots
-Should be heel vs face
-Maybe something behind the match like Title vs Job, Hair vs Title, Legend vs Legend, or Retirement match

^^damn edge foreva did sum it all. i agree but i think 50% of the matches depend on how it ends. u can get a boring 60 min iron man match but the final 10 mis become like WOW so i consider it a "good" match. NOT A CLASSIC

A lot of shifts between who's winning, a wide variety of moves used, alot of technical counters, high paced action, and of course, some high spots... you gotta have 'em
