I considered it but I felt there were way too many awards for people to go through. Still, its a good idea to keep in mind for next year.

So happy Plummer finally won the big one, REPRESENT CANADA!!!!

Canada, fuck yeah! :tongue1:

Always seem to be the Brits or the Aussies cleaning up at this things, so good to see a Canuck gettin' it done.

Personally I would have given Plummer the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his work as General Chang in Star Trek VI. Loved that Shakespeare quoting motherfucker!

The Artist winning for Best Original Score, no surprise there. I was gonna say, if Hugo won that one there was some kind of conspiracy going on. :tongue1:

Totally, that wasn't a shocker though, it was a great score.

I still think its kind of stupid that they bothered with this category even though they only had two songs. I mean I'm sure they could have found three more just to add in.

Agreed. There's no way there were only two original songs in all of moviedom this year.

Descendants finally wins something, which is good. I really liked it and feel this was its best shot at an award outside of Clooney for Best Actor.

One of the few documentaries I did see this year though was Catfish, which was fantastic. Although there's some debate to how much of a documentary that actually is. :tongue1:

Catfish was great not sure if how real it is either...but Exit From the Gift Shop and Wild Wonderful Whites of West Virginia were better

Exit Through the Gift Shop was great too, that's one I saw. The King of Kong too is a fantastic one.

And go Woody. Surprise, surprise he's not there though. :tongue1:

Thought Midnight in Paris was a dark horse even though many said it was a sure thing. Love that Allen never goes to the Oscar's, haha, what a rebel! Oh and a side note, Reese Witherspoon just said her favourite movie is Overboard which makes me love her even more. Kurt and Goldie FTW!!!

Not to sound morbid but the In Memoriam segment is always my favourite part of the Oscars. It's always classy and its nice to see tribute payed to those who passed away in the last year. Hope its coming up soon.

I think they're waiting for Christopher Plummer to drop first. :shifty: :tongue1:
