Texas governor: 15 killed in school shooting; gunman dead

I legit don't understand how anyone can be this far gone without anyone helping them or seeing a pattern developing. I'm not taking up for the gunman at all but someone along the way someone could have saved lives.

Time to go through the motions again.....mass shootings are almost a weekly event in the US and nothing is done, just people flapping their gums on their goddamn rights and freedoms, while pretending to support the sanctity of life but only if it's a non breathing non cognitive fetus......when they out of womens wombs....fuck em.

Play the Jim Jefferies gun control bit and then forget about it like everyone else does.

I legit had a discussion with someone the other day where they said they are pro-second amendment and feel safer with a gun. Welp... Like doesn't matter if someone there had a gun, it goes down to who shoots first or who has better aim. Just no. This is literally a school of kids. 14 kids dead. Then a teacher who is just trying to do their job to teach and be a good influence on these kids in their early years. Then this was like just about a week after there was a shooting in Buffalo where someone targeted a bunch of African Americans. THIS SHOULD NOT BE A NORMAL OCCURANCE! THIS IS NOT OKAY!

In 2014, there was a shooting in my hometown, all because someone was a conspiracy theorist and took the lives of 3 police officers. I was driving at the time, learning how to drive, and I had an exam the next day in High school. My Dad and I were going to a traffic light on one of the main roads of the city. If I turned left and went down that road 10 minutes, I would have ran into him. My dad even was about to suggest turning that way until we saw 5 cop cars, lights on, pass by in 30 seconds and he knew something was up. I immediately went home instead, called my brother who was downtown to come home instantly. Then for an entire day, there was a manhunt, half the city was locked down, my younger cousin lived minutes away and was under lock down for almost 24 hours.

It shook the community and it took years to recover from it. That was 3 people, 5 shot in total. I can ache for the pain these families will deal with, losing their children at such a young age to a senseless, vile act. What happened since then was basically there was a complete investigation into our RCMP and looked at what can be done if something like that happened again to prevent it. We tried to learn from it. What is going on in the US is the same story on repeat. Communities are shaken to the core so often, families having their loved ones taken from acts of violence and hate and you guys just put a "prayer" out and sit on your hands, some not even wanting to at least engage in the conversation which at least is the first step.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moncton_shootings Just to show what happened for my hometown.

Like fucking hell, LEARN FROM THIS! STOP SUCKING THE NRA'S DICK AND DO SOMETHING REASONABLE! HOW CAN A FIREARM HAVE MORE RIGHTS IN YOUR COUNTRY THAN SOME MINORITY GROUPS!? And it isn't even just that, a number of these shootings comes from racists acting out on a minority population, or believing in some grand conspiracy. It's not a coincidence, it is a trend, a dangerous one. And I'd like to hope that one day there wouldn't be any shootings but that is impossible, but I'd like the question to be "If you will be affected by a shooting" rather than "When." Have better background checks, create better guidelines and an ability to revoke a license from someone and take firearms away if they have a criminal history, or have a history of hate, make threats of violence online, etc. Then do some work creating better education around stuff like, oh, I don't know, "Racism is bad, mmkay? Don't shoot people for looking different or being different, mmk?"

I'm just tired of this shit.

I hear you Beavie. But these people dont believe in logic , gun control bad womb control good to these sad souls. Maybe one day America will learn but its been getting worse since Columbine and its just business as usual. Yes i sound cold , but this is jjst the truth and this just doesnt happen in other countries. Its sad. 202 mass shootings in 2022 alone n its not June yet. Maybe look at reality n not what some 200 + year old white dude wrote while feuding with england and wake the hell up.

I hate to be that guy but I wonder of the millions of people that put prayers or praying on social media actually do pray or just say it.

Also you know I was pissed when I use my wholesome Sylveon account to vent.

...Legit have a whole thread. I have more followers on that than I do my personal account, so thought it'd not fall on deaf ears on that. Had to do a pallet cleanser on there after.

Love reading the Fox News comments section. "We need more secure schools!" "Arm the teachers!"

Because that's really the problem....
