yeh as a booker im obviously a bit *raised eye* and that but hey its his promotion too and we all know he's losing (right?). im at least interested in the showcase and what kind of match bandido will have too in that setting

No doubt he's losing. I don't expect Bandido or Gresham to drop any matches until at least they have a unification match which I assume is meant to happen at Supercard of Honor.

But yeah I am split because Black doesn't really have any reputation or link to ROH to really justify him being in this match. Coughlin doesn't really either, but I think he is a hotter property right now at least and also isn't the co-founder of the company getting a shot that really can't be justified.

But I suppose if Gresham and Bandido are gonna have an ongoing issue then having Bandido beat Gresham's right hand man isn't a bad way to add a little heat to the situation.

Also Coughlin/Moose appeals to me more bc Coughlin will throw Moose around like a little baby and that's not quite as impressive with Bandido

Coughlin is out injured. Not a bad replacement at all but the dynamic of the match is now completely different than what I was looking forward to so that sucks

Ehhhh yeah that is pretty unfortunate. Match may still be good but definitely holds less intrigue. I've already decided I'm buying the show anyways though.

I'll have to accept that it's just a part of the style they're looking to promote, but the rule against throwing your opponent over the rope and the 5 second count out are a bit off-putting. Gonna have to see these rules in action though, I'm guessing they'll rarely even be a factor with most of the matches staying in the ring the whole time.

I think some are going to end up quietly phased out too since that tends to happen a lot with the more gimmicky things in wrestling
