TNA Television Ratings

Just a year or two ago, didn't the majority of them get under $1000 (something like $600) for every appearance?

I just remember that when Gail Kim left a couple of years ago she was only getting around $100k which is nothing considering she and Awesome Kong were the top KOs at the time and were drawing the biggest ratings. They should all be rewarded for bringing in more viewers than any other division in TNA.

The 2/23 edition of Impact did a 1.19 rating with 1,582,000 viewers.

Back to the normal rating for Impact. No show can find growth these days.

Not a good sign that the six man tag team match mainevent dropped the rating by so much, TNA will probably panic and put Angle and Sting in the mainevent next week. Really poor rating to drop just below the 1 mark.

Shocking. Those ratings are so SO typical of TNA. Despite the writers, the on-air authority, the legends and past-it guys and all the other qualms people have with TNA THIS is what drives me mad.

Some people dislike it when WWE do things like take the title of fan favourites because of ratings. Often they do it FAR too soon and I think we can all agree but a good number of times they get it right, the belt/ME slot goes away because that guy CANNOT DRAW. These ratings are typical of years and years worth if iMPACT shows. People tune in to see what's going on and then steadily tune out as the show goes on. Ratings spike when charismatic mic workers, often the best of the X-Division, or the knockouts show up. All too often however, and I'm not saying always because guys like Angle obviously sell overall, the main events do not draw in viewers. What are these main events...aging superstars? A World Champion who hasn't been established correctly until very recently...but has then been giving a superstar I consider past-it in Sting to work with. It's madness. Look at your numbers TNA.

Wonder what the excuse is now Russo isn't scapegoat for everything wrong in wrestling.

Probably Hogan's fault, right?

I completely forgot that Russo left before this show. Need a new scapegoat but I can't see it being Hogan. I see Hogan and Bischoff blaming the new guys for not being able to draw.

Russo must have a lot of friends and family. Since he left both shows have done a 1 rating whereas TNA normally do a 1.2 rating. Look forward to seeing the ratings breakdowns again to see if the newer guys lost the viewers again.

They should never have fired Russo :/ Ratings continue to remain at 1 ever since Russo was fired this is such a weird coincidence.
