I thought that Zach Ryder and Santino became tag partners as well? If so what would they be called?

Team Fucking Horrible.

Anyway there's no doubt the tag division is on the rise again, but how long that will last i'm not entirely sure so it's probably best to enjoy while it's here.

One thing I did find a bit odd though was that Rhodes has been feuding on and off with Rey and Cara and I figured that now he's partnered with Sandow he'd be in a tag feud against them, but it seems they've jumped over them and straight to the champs while the Piss Time Playaz feud with Los Luchadores.

One thing that I find slightly worrying though is that in strengthening the tag team division, they've raped the midcard and upper midcard of most of it's talent.

With Rhodes Scholars going right after the champions I guess that they as a team would want to reach the highest heights possible so it would make sense to go for the titles. I am sure somewhere down the line they will have a mini-feud with Los Luchadores.

True they have taken quality guys away from the midcard titles but honestly most of those guys weren't doing anything. Mysterio, Rhodes, Sandow were all just floating around the midcard with nothing to do. This way they are in meaningful feuds and WWE can always bring in another couple of wrestlers from FCW to add some depth to the midcard title divisions, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose come to mind.

I think it's fantastic that the Tag Team division is now being revived. It seems like those dirtsheet reports that everyone is so quick to stamp all over were right when they said Triple H was looking to inject a bit of life into the seemingly dead division. I was surprised that most WWE vans voted for "Team HellNo" as the name for Kane and Daniel Bryan's Tag Team. "Team Friendship" seems more fitting since the whole gimmick has been about friendship. I quite like the Uso's but they need a break. Perhaps add a third member to the team and start up another Too Cool and Rikishi dance!

As far as I'm concerned their name is Team Friendship and I'll never refer to them as something else.

It's great the tag team division is being pushed. One of the most disappointing things about the WWE I found since returning was how far it had fallen, given that I was used to the Hardy's, E&C and the Dudley's et al

Normally I'm against thrown together tag teams, but the new pairings are actually pretty promising looking. Rhodes and Sandow's characters have some similarities, and they've already shown that they work quite well together, while Kidd and Gabriel also look like they could be a good tag team if they're given enough time. Then there's of course Team Hell No (not a big fan of the name though) who've been absolute gold since their storyline started.

Add those teams in the mix with the likes of The Prime Time Players and The Usos, and you have yourself a pretty solid tag team division.

It's is still a long way away from what it used to be all those years ago, but they're definitely taking a step in the right direction. Even having a tag team match on every week, as well as the tag team titles defended every month on PPV, would do wonders for the division.

How pissed are you that Tyler Reks isn't around any more Chris?

Not too much because of why he left, but I still do believe that Reks and Hawkins would have been a good team in this division. On NXT, they reminded me a lot of Edge and Christian, a lot less talent honestly, but they still reminded me of them. Hawkins was the better worker of the group, whereas Reks wasn't so good, so it's not loss, I just liked the team as a whole.
