No idea, I thought kayfabe until I saw that show where one of the hosts said he had the strapping on still backstage, so she thinks it's legit.

If it is legit, then why would Laurinitis recieve the papers way before Ryders match, then confront ryder after the match about the papers saying that he wasn't medically cleared to compete? Also, if he really was injured, the Johnny Ace could be in a lot of trouble with the board.

Yeah I know, everything but the last sentence was Kayfabe. I'm saying, in the last sentence, If Ryder really was injured, Johnny Ace could be in a lot of trouble. (Real life part)

Johnny Ace doesn't run RAW in real life, that's kayfabe. He wouldn't get in trouble for making an injured superstar compete.

He is the legit Vice president of talent relations so he actually would get in trouble for sending an injured wrestler out to perform. Apologies in advance for being a smart arse just thought I'd point it out.

Yeah I know he is, but he doesn't actually run RAW. He's like you say, the president of talent relations. Makes sure they're okay and getting along basically. It's HHH & Vince (and Steph maybe) that legitimately run RAW. It's creative who have booked Ryder for that show, so if he was legitimately injured (and badly) and caused further harm, it's them that take the fall.

Does anybody actually know if Ryder is really injured? Also, was Ortons injury real? He could have just ran down the steps fast, and acted knocked out... I'm thinking it was just Kayfabe.

I'm unsure of Ryder's but apparently Randy's was legit and had been bothering him for a few weeks.

-- WWE.com reported Thursday that company physician Dr. Michael Sampson examined Randy Orton and said he suffered a herniated disc on the L4-L5 level on the left side, which has resulted in pain and weakness down his leg.

"He's going to need some time off for rehab, anti-inflammatory medications and physical therapy," said Dr. Sampson.

F4WOnline.com reports that his injury is legitimate. Orton had been complaining of the injury for two weeks which is why his physical workload was reduced prior to the injury angle shot at Tuesday's SmackDown taping in Indianapolis, Indiana. WWE.com says the injury could keep him sidelined for a few weeks.

So Ortons was real. I didn't know if that was Kayfabes way of trying to give Orton a vaction before he came back as a heel at the Rumble.

Because he would end up coming back, interfering with Barretts current feud with Sheamus, Then Sheamus could get pissed off, and start feuding with Orton as well. Then again, it could be Sheamus who would turn heel in that situation.

I honestly don't know how easy it'd be for an Orton heel turn. He'd need to take out Rock or something to turn, he's so over.

I'm not sure there is anything that would get Randy consistent heat. Even if he attacked the Rock he'd get pops after that exchange imo.
