Have you read the Death of WCW? Pretty good and well researched book which completely dissects what happened to them. It was a fascinating read.
I would honestly suggest Nitro book by Guy Evans. He actually interviewed everyone that every worked for WCW from every level including current day Warner execs.

Bischoff says he even read stuff he never knew about and other stuff he hadn't completely forgotten about. The Death book is good if you view like a dirt sheet, though.

And I am a subscriber to their WON Newsletter so I can't say too much negatively about that, but Nitro book is far more accurate for those behind the scenes happenings.

Death is more objective in my viewpoint. I don't trust the people who worked for WCW to tell the truth about what was going on

The fact Becky is still getting such big cheers despite the squash really goes to show the popularity she has. Most women would get booed here.

Bryan Alvarez is anything, but objective imo. That said I enjoy his subjective articles on the newsletter, but I'd give Nitro book a read. They interview some 200 employees. It's a fascinating read. Even if you question the stories, it's just a neat deep dive.
