Not all Trump supporters are alt-right but all alt-right are Trump supporters lol. There’s a difference between those who have legit reasons to like Trump based on his policies and those who see him as some sort of godly figure who’s saving us from whatever the fuck

I’d even say the same when he won the Democratic nomination. Dems just didn’t have good candidates.

Yeah I think it's a fair thing to say, too. And I won't get in a policies debate but Sanders was certainly more popular (but more divisive ofc) as a personality

Sanders definitely has more passionate supporters and a larger overall support group, but I think he has more overall detractors than Biden has too.

And speaking honestly, I’m not sure he’d have beaten Trump. Biden won because a lot of centrists and right wingers wanted off the Trump train, but I don’t think they’d have voted for Sanders. Biden’s not as left as Sanders so he was able to pick up those votes.
