Rumor about a Physical Hall of Fame Location

They still have control over it since they own the park and the lease. TNA were offering a live show each week whereas this is a HOF so it is a completely different proposition. A live show should always draw more than a HOF which would rarely have wrestlers appearing there.

I'd prefer to see it in CT but I still think this is a great idea. It will gain a lot of visits a day due to it being in a place filled with tourists and it will garner a lot of money for WWE.

Orlando is in the worst state on earth: Floriturd.

Please by God, do not move the HoF there. NY is a hassle to visit. Takes 45 minutes to get anywhere in that city. I'd like to see it placed in Las Vegas, but since that's not considered (by popular belief) a 'family friendly" city, it won't happen.

According to several sources in Orlando, WWE is looking at opening a restaurant in Universal Studios, to go along with a planned physical Hall of Fame building.

The reports continue that Universal will be closing the NBA City attraction and replacing it with a building for WWE. The latest report is that not only would that building house a Hall of Fame, but a WWE-themed restaurant as well.

The proposed location is about 500 feet from the sound stage that used to be known as TNA's Impact Zone. Those in WWE say they have no information on expansion plans at Universal.

Some mentioned the prospect of having a restaurant attached and they may get their wish. Not sure how well it will do. They tried it before with WWF New York and that was in a prime tourist location and was around when wrestling was hot yet that closed down as it didn't make money. If they did go through with it can see them incorporating some of JR's products into it.

WWF NEw Yrok closed down because it was too fucking expensive for people to actually buy shit there. WWE better make their new restaurant as inexpensive as possible and their HOF better have good shit in it. Because some crappy fan axxess stuff and $20 hotdogs are going flop faster than 60 year old titties.

I think the key to Troys article is that they Closed the NBA attraction for this one. Shows that it's just a revolving door so this "hall of fame" will be shut down.
