I'll be honest, I didn't think RE4 needed a remake until now.

After seeing this, I'm 100% down. It looks fucking incredible in every way. The environments look stunning.

The regenadores are going to look insane.
Ada doesn't have a cocktail dress anymore and I really like it, I know her attire is iconic but it was always really dumb for her to go on a mission wearing this. It made sense in the second game because she was dressed for a party when things went sideways and she didn't have time to change but not here.

Yeah they've not always had the most practical outfits in Resident Evil. I like what they've done to Ada too. Interested to see Krauser in the remake.

The castle section is going to look nuts.

I hope they don't remove any areas. I didn't mind it in RE3 remake because I had never played the original but I know the original RE4 by heart.

God, I'm just getting to Ashley now in my playthrough. I'm glad I got the special costume for her at least where she's all armoured up so it's going to be a breeze for once to have her as a companion.

I found that getting all the treasures as they come is enough to buy/upgrade all the weapons you need. I never use machine guns, just the Red 9, Riot Gun and Automatic Sniper Rifle. Not even Magnums. I usually just buy a rocket launcher to kill Salazar in one hit.

Just reached that part in the castle with the cranks in the huge water room, with monks everywhere and Ashley getting grabbed every 5sec.

One of my favorite things in this game is selling that mirror with pearls and rubies I found in a wardrobe to the merchant standing right next to it but who didn't bother looking inside.

Oh god, I'm dreading that part so badly. I remember in my first ever playthrough I was stuck there for ages, and that was just on Normal.

Cabin fight with Luis was rough on Professional, feels like they never stop coming and it's so hectic.
