R-Truth Injured During RAW; Former Stars Criticize The Miz for Botch

I personally believe a Smackdown move would do him good, since he lost the belt last year he's been kinda shuffled to nowhere. A fresh start is always good.

Noone thinks The Miz could get over as a face? He gets a pretty good reaction and sells quite a bit merch as a heel.

He could pull it off for a bit if they gave him enough time but the natural feeling is him as a heel and eventually they'd just slide him back into that. Smackdown does need another credible heel that could win the world title and Miz would be perfect once either Sheamus or Orton win the title and finish with Daniel Bryan.

WHy is everyone hating on the Miz now? The Miz can still wrestle and wrestle rather well. The Miz can still talk on the mic and deliver promos better than most in the back.

This was unfortunate. I watched the replay of it and Miz did move out of the way for the most part. But... gotta think also Miz has to protect himself too. Think about Edge's debut match in the WWF. he did a move like that against Jesus and Jesus wound up with a broken neck cause the way Edge rotated over the ropes it was hard to catch Edge and you only got one shot. If you mess up you could wind up hurt, hurt both guys or it could be successful. Truth's rotation coulda caused the same thing to happen.

Still hopin that it doesn't take Truth out for the long run. Also hoping Miz isn't punished for it although he probably will be. Just hope it isn't a harsh one.

I thought the same thing I haven't seen a replay but as I recall if miz hadn't moved he'd been hit with more of Rtruth than necessary. Thought Truth was legit injured.

He would need to stay a heel on Smackdown though. Just to keep things from being too face heavy over there.

R-Truth left the main event on RAW after taking a bump on the floor outside the ring. R-Truth was doing of frontwards dive over the top rope, landed flat on his back and hit his head on the ground.

Joey Styles just tweeted an update on R-Truth's health:

Miz will pay the consequences for this botch one way or another. I doubt it will be severe though...still...glad to see R-Truth is okay. I'd hate to see him out again

Believe it or not, despite being very sore, R Truth was OK after being checked out by WWE medical personnel.
Truth was legitimately pulled from the match by WWE management after he smacked the back of his head on the mats outside the ring during a dive that missed Miz. The basic body of the match remained the same but they needed to adjust from what was initially planned.

Miz was being blamed for the spot going awry. There was a ton of heat on him from WWE management, including Triple H, backstage after the Raw taping.

Damn. Not a good thing if HHH has heat on you.

The Miz will go on a huge losing streak now if that's the case.

You act like Miz wins matches?

If you looked at his stats, he probably has a massive losing streak. WWE just hasn't brought it up.

Yeah Miz has been losing lately anyways since they also want to blame him and Truth, well mainly him for the "low ratings" at Survivor Series that included a tag team that was built up for about two weeks involving The Rock and John cena.

WWE is built up of a bunch of idiots and yes men. The Miz has been doing everything they ask him to do and going above and beyond what they ask him to do but because they don't know how to properly book or build anything to the point that people actually care... they don't want to blame the "big names" but instead blame the smaller names cause there is no way that the bigger names couldn't be the cause of any of the lack.

Truth is as much to blame for the botch as Miz. Truth was too far on Miz's left so Miz couldn't get over in time to properly catch him and keep him safe. But then it's partially Miz fault because he didn't take any of the brunt of it at all and pretty much let Truth take the whole thing. Could've adjusted a little sooner and helped Truth make a safer fall. Truth woulda still been hurtin but it wouldn't be made into a case like this.

Miz has been in a fight ever since he arrived. First from JBL since he came from Real World to their world. He fought long and hard and made it to the top and now they are watching him like a hawk for anything done "wrong." Just always lookin for someone to blame and Miz is the easiest scape goat out of them all. Miz still has years left to compete. Truth is in his 40s, his time is gonna be up soon. Cena is the golden boy. Rock is The Rock. Punish Miz of course.

But I still feel all this Miz bashing is uncalled for. Accidents happen. People make mistakes and people miss spots in matches. People get injured cause of said mistakes and misses. Hell Eve got hurt cause of a Beth Phoenix clothesline. You think they gonna discipline Beth cause of the stiff clothesline? You think they gonna blame Eve? No... stuff happens. If they look to bury Miz... all they will be doing is further hurting their future because they have a severe lack of top level main eventers in heels and faces. But the faces are far too strong and you need equally strong heels and Miz is one of those that could easily make the transition back to a top level heel. Bury him enough and ... that's one less guy that can compete against Cena, Orton, and any other top level face.

Oh well, as long as it wasn't Cody hurt, im ok.

Seriously, do you guys opperate your thinking in a vacume? Like their is no other context here? Most of these guys know eachother very well, and dont get all mad and angry over an accident. THEY HAVE ALL DONE IT BEFORE. I think that there might have been some harsh questions for a couple of minutes, but after Mizz was probably openly sorry for what happened, he probably got a pat on the back by a few guys, telling him to not get caught up in one mistake.

Truth probably has a concusion and imo will be ready for the EC. I just think sometimes this all gets over blown
