My thoughts exactly, this title match seems rather filler until Steen/Elgin at Glory By Honor X, which has already been announced.

Rhino may not deserve a title shot, but you can't keep having the same people getting the title shot when the time comes for ROH to air an iPPV.

Much like WWE ROH have a lack of fresh main event talent and are in a transitional period. The sad thing is they have possibly one of their best ever world champions in Steen.

Rhino tends to be solid when he can be bothered but no this doesn't stand out as a ppv main event.

This is very true. I think they could have done something like a six-man with Steen, Corino, & Jacobs against someone though and build up to Elgin's shot at GBH.

I'm a Rhino mark. I've always liked him. Hopefully he puts on a solid match, even though it's clear he'll lose.

Why not Roddy? I'd take him and Steen over Rhino and Steen any day. Rhino stopped being relevant a decade ago.

Wouldn't go that far he was poorly booked for most of his WWF/WWE run and did get over to a degree in TNA. Just think the guy has gotten a bit lazy in recent years and just never became the great talent he could have.

Don't know but I do know that he is making an appearence in Manchester (thats the one in England by the way) this weekend for the Future Shock promotion. So the guy can't be injuried.

Davey Richards is taking time off from ROH from the time being. He'll likely be back by Final Battle. Although, when he ripped on Steen in the Highspots shoot interview he did and later apologized for, he said something along the lines of: I wish ROH nothing but the best going forward. So he could come back, and yet again he may not. Time will tell.

Kyle O'Reilly is taking time off as well, but he's due back I think next month or maybe October.

But why is he taking time off? Is it because they have nothing new for him right now or is to sell a certain angle like with Steen? Like I said he is still wrestling elsewhere.

It is pretty much that. The angle with Steen is done, he got his rematch and lost and there's nothing for him at the moment. So they gave him time off and he's obviously been doing Independent dates as well as International dates to keep him busy.
