2009 I have a feeling is going to be the year of As I Lay Dying and Bleeding Through. Both are amazing metal bands and everyone should check out Bleeding Through Declaration it's amazing. Also As I Lay Dying is probably one of the best things to metal. They have one of the best drummers and vocalist around and there guitar is pretty good it hasen't always been the best but has improved from cd to cd. Anyone who wants an example of an amazing song check this video out.

I hate metal fans. Although most of the ones on IWF are pretty sweet (so this isn't directed at you), the ones I've met in real life are all major try-hards who think everything else is 'pussy music' (a direct quote from some kids at my school)

Yea I'm definitly not one of those. I luv metal but then I'm not afraid to sit back and listen to some mellow stuff. Hell sometimes I'd rather listen to more mellow stuff than harder stuff. Hell lately I been listening to P.O.D's greatest hits alot. Good cd I should add.

Yeahz but dis 1 tyme COREY TAYLOYRZZZZ(RRRAAARRRR!!!1) sed dat if we werent down wit the (F)MAGGOTS (evil hiss!!1221!!) that we iznt metool?!!!!

::closes his eyes and repeats to himself::Machine Head is hitting the studio shortly...Machine Head is hitting the studio shortly.........along with Megadeth....

Shawn Crahan (the clown, one of the useless ones making millions off the hard work of 4 people actually doing something musically)
also said that "We're (Slipknot) the hardest ever. We've probably toured with your band, and the fans are there to see us! It's like a war man..We're hard as fuck!"

Being a combat veteran of the Iraq War made me hate that band to no end after I read that in an issue of Revolver.

And thank God for Machine Head and Megadeth. I only wissh Dave would bring back Marty Friedman and Dave Ellefson for the next album. Sort of a "Rust In Peace" reunion for the writing.

Only thing relevant about Megadeth is PEACE SELLS.

That's not true.

Killing Is My Business..and Business Is Good
Rust In Peace
So Far, So Good, So What?
Cryptic Writings

PREDICTION - Hey Monday (www.myspace.com/heymonday) will be big by the end of the summer. Their singer has a cute face, IMO. People might be calling them Paramore rip-offs, but I like them alot. Listen to "Homecoming" and "How You Love Me Now"

THE SLEEPING just released a new one. They're really good.

Punk Goes Pop 2 is going to be out March 9. I might actually go and buy it. The last one, Punk Goes Crunk was amazing, like the cover of "Tennessee"

Yea Punk goes crunk was amazing. Prada's cover of Still Fly was epic and Say Anything was funny as hell too. As for this one I can already tell I'm going to like it for the simple fact it has August Burns Red but I'm kinda pissed they'd put a shitty band like Alesana on there. I fucking hate Alesana.

Holy crap, the lead singer looks like a brown haired Kelly Kelly~! But they do sound A LOT like Paramore at first but they're not rip-offs or anything, there are intricate differences and "How You Love Me Now" is a really good song IMO.

Mayday Parade and The Cab look to be highlights of the Punk goes Pop thing. They have A Static Lullaby in there too though and i'm not too big on them. :S But i'll definitely check out a few of the songs.

I think Cassadee's better looking than Hayley, and I'm waiting for people to bandwagon love for Hey Monday. They'll get compared to Paramore alot because they have girl singers. Homecoming should be their first single, but the whole album is really good for a debut. And when I predict things about music, I'm usually right.

The songs on Pop Goes Punk 2 I really want to hear are the Miley Cyrus cover and the Bayside song. "See You Again" because I've heard better covers and Bayside because they're awesome and they're going to scream on a Sean Kingston track.

PS - Taking Back Sunday's new one drops April 14.

Why are all those bands, none of which I would consider punk bands, all on an almbun called "punk goes pop"? lol.
:smh
Anyways, I've never heard of that band, but if they're anything like Paramore, count me OUT.

And HK, she looks NOTHING like Kelly Kelly, lol.

It doesn't matter, it's just a working title. I'd rather have "Punk Goes Pop" as a title than "Alternative Goes Pop". With the media now, almost everything alternative in rock is labeled "punk". And with the current indie scene of Punk, most of the bands sound similar.
