Agree on the suspensions for the most part but would have given Vilma 8 games as well, a whole season is crazy.

Seau news was sad but not that surprising, in 2010 he wrecked his car when he fell asleep at the wheel and people were saying that may have been a suicide attempt.

Thing that makes me not 100% sure it was a suicide attempt is you never hear about someone shooting themself in the chest to commit suicide. So can't help but feel there is a chance someone wanted it to look like a suicide attempt rather than it actually be one.

News on Suggs doesn't look good. Seems like the Ravens will have to do without him for much of the 2012 season, if not all of it. :(

That's more than a blow, that's almost an axe to the back of the neck.

Losing Suggs even for 8 games is a huge blow. His presence makes a lot of the other players better. That's what a great pash rusher does, it's not all about the sacks.

At this point in time i say losing T-Sizzle is a bigger loss then losing RAY 'FUCKING' LEWIS

As important as Ray is yea it is a bigger loss he is just too important as a pass rusher. Gonna see what this Upshaw guy is about though as he should be the starter while he fills in for Suggs. Sounds like he has similar skills in terms of what you can do with him from putting him at linebacker or on the line.

Few guys I see having break out years this year on defense for the Ravens. Lardarius Webb who I think has a shot at being a pro bowler this coming season & Sergio Kindle who will get some burn probably at least while Suggs is out. Guy is really talented from what I heard just hasn't played a lot.

Yeah the Junior Seau news is really sad, it was only like 3 years ago since he was playing football with New England.

I work just a few blocks up the street of his home. I'll miss shaking his hand during the summer times at the beach.

The "Winners" Circle
Source: Joseph Addai to Pats
Former Indianapolis Colts running back Joseph Addai will sign with the New England Patriots, a source confirmed to ESPNBoston.com.

A nagging right hamstring injury limited Addai to 12 games in 2011 after he missed eight games the year before with a nerve injury in his left shoulder.

The 30-year-old Addai isn't a lock for a roster spot, although he offers a veteran presence behind second-year backs Shane Vereen (2011 second-round choice) and Stevan Ridley (2011 third-round choice), ...
