Watch the Throne had it's flaws. That Beyonce song. Terrible. Same with Made In America.

But compared to Return of 4eva? Naw.

P.S. Honestly tried to find it and all the links were taken down.

Sorry Wiz, but I'm happy as fuck MTV had the balls to have Tyler win the VMA's Best New Artist.

Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread

I never got why people do that. Unless they're buying for all of their homies what's the point of buying multiple copies of an album? LOL

Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread

lol no clue. I'm guessing they do it to bump the first week numbers.

they probably buy multiple copies from one place, and return 'em to another (or sell them on the streets)

but whatever they were doing worked, because Hitsdailydouble has J. Cole doing 250k his first week, which is a fuckin lot.

in comparason, Wiz Khalifa sold 198k his first week (with a huge #1 single) and Big Sean sold 89k

I guess Cole is officially a superstar now. How long before his OG fans turn on him the very same way they turned on Drake?

Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread

It's already happening. I dont know how many J. Cole fans I've seen/heard attack him, and his newer fans.

I've been listening to Cole since 09, and personally I'm glad he's finally getting the attention he deserves. Much like Wale, I've been trying to put people on him for years, and now people are finally starting to hear what he has to say, which I am all for.
