NO DQ.com

As noted before, the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will take place on April 6th from Madison Square Garden in New York City. There was some redtape WWE had to cut through because they made a deal with the state of New Jersey. All WrestleMania activities were supposed to take place in the East Rutherford, New Jersey area.

WWE wanted
Bruno Sammartino for the 2013 Hall of Fame but that doesn't look like it's going to happen. Some names rumored for next year's class would be Mick Foley,Kevin Nash and Bob Backlund.

WWE may make another play for
The Ultimate Warrior also. People who have talked with Warrior believe he would be open to it but add that Warrior is almost impossible to do business with and it would be a big risk on WWE's end because he could agree to be inducted and then change his mind.

I think pretty much everyone expected Sammartino to be a no-go on the HOF. I really don't expect Warrior to accept either. The smear job dvd they did on him pretty much ruined that. If they really wanted to induct that guy into the HOF, maybe they should have thought about that before shitting all over his legacy.

Foley is long overdue. Since the event is being held in the NY/NJ area, it would make sense for him to be the headliner.

And it's no surprise they're talking about inducting Nash all of a sudden after he showed up last year. Expect another Clique reunion.

I'm still baffled Backlund hasn't been inducted yet, Foley and Nash are great picks as well.

Foley definitely deserves it. Nash would be a good choice also but who would headline if both got inducted?

For all the heat he's been getting recently, Nash would still be cool as long as he's not headlining. Foley deserves to headline and it would be really special. As long as Foley gets inducted, I'm going to be there since I live 20 minutes away. I just want to know the full cast before obviously getting a ticket. If Nash is headlining and Foley is off, then I'd probably skip it.

Backlund finally decided he is retired? Because he was always a shoe-in for HOF, just he thought he wasn't retired yet.

Foley headlining? Not a big enough name these days, sure he was one of the biggest stars of the Attitude Era, but look at the reactions he's been getting the past 2 years. It's like a Charlie Haas pop.

I agree with you there Deezy but it will be New York so I'm sure he'll get a good reaction. Plus other than the Royal Rumble, Nash didn't do much better with crowd reactions.

Warrior should be headliner, Foley can play sidekick.

Not interested at all in watching old farts like Backlund or Sammartino.

Savage?

If Savage is not in this year, I will not watch the Hall of Fame. Savage should headline over anyone else. First inductee by far. Ultimate Warrior can be the living headliner, but Savage trumps all of them.

Then tell Savage's brother that he doesn't deserve to go in and it should just be Macho so it'll happen.

Right after I tell Owen's wife to get over his death.

People need to get over the Savage not being in the HOF before he died there was a legitimate beef between him and Vince for reasons that are only rumoured not to mention the fact that his family won't let him in without his brother so it won't happen nothing against Savage but unfortunately this is not a legit HOF its whoever WWE wants in the Hall of Fame

I'm all for Nash, Foley and Backlund being in the Hall but I can't see Foley being the headliner. Like Deezy said, he's not that big of a name. I would love to see Macho Man be inducted, but I don't think it's going to happen.

In trying to think of big names that haven't been inducted yet, there are very few who don't have political reasons behind them. Owen, Savage, Bruno, Warrior are all not in the Hall because of politics. Benoit isn't in because of what he did. Sting won't be in until he retires. So the question is, who is the big name that goes in this year?
