Def RVD's win because I badly wanted RVD to win and badly wanted the belt off Cena. Never been as much of a RVD fan ever at any point then I was that night.

RVD's mainly because the crowd were really going to riot if he didn't win.

I went with RVD's win because it was the first time it had happened.

Hogan slamed Andre at Shae a few years prior.

Yes but how many of WWF's audience knew about it?

I voted the slam just because they made it such a big deal and a importantly selling point of the match.

I can see why others voted the other through.

The crowd was gold for RVD's moment, but its still just RVD. Hogan slamming Andre is one of the most iconic scenes in wrestling.

If RVD doesn't win we riot!

I'm sure Hogan slamming Andre was a big deal at the time, but it's been replicated so many times the original has lost it's lustre.

I would say a good majority, considering WWE's major market at the time was New York, and it was a WWE hosted event(although this was under Vince Sr.).

RVD/Cena was the only time the crowd has never been split on Cena since his rise, that whole match was mark worthy from the onset of their ring entrances, until the show went off the air.

I honestly don't see how anyone could vote against Hogan/Andre here. It was the climax of the single most important Wrestlemania of all time.

My thoughts exactly. Probably the most iconic moment in wrestling history.

Agreed. This actually blows my mind. Yes, I loved the RVD match with Cena, but honestly? It's not a big deal. RVD lol.

I'm from Philly, not much we do makes sense.... Voted RVD thinking I'd be giving him the courtesy vote in a slaughter, not giving him the lead.... still ok with it

RVD moment was great but Hogan slamming Andre just had an epic feel to it. Did anyone actually think RVD was gonna lose? You knew Hogan was going to win but you didn't know he'd hit a bodyslam.

RVD and Cena is huge. Cena walked into a lions den of hate and RVD, the golden boy for what ecw represented finally won the big one.

That said Hogan and Andre is akin to Jordan hitting the shot over Russel in game 6 of the 97 finals, Horry hitting the shot in game 4 vs Sacramento at the buzzer, etc. Its a moment that defines wrestling history.

To be fair I think there was some doubt withit being against Cena, not to mention that WWE had inconsistently booked RVD for years. Had a feeling he might win the title but it was far from clear cut.
