There's racism throughout the world regardless of where you live. Refusing to talk about it perpetuates it that much more. He's only going to escape it and never have to talk about it if he does buy that island he was talking about and pretends he's not a part of the real world.

If you look at the US as a whole, there are far far FAR less racist people then there use to be. He is just being a drama queen. Not to mention that if you are going to care so much about one little comment of a stranger, you must not be in a very good place.

I think the issue with racism is that people don't understand the difference between "being racist" and "saying racist things".
I know this is old news but he is still here so what does that tell you? Sure, there are racist people in this world... some countries have a belief system that is entirely racist but to say the US is one of the most racist countries is laughable. There are more opportunities here for anyone of any race than most other countries lol

Being an out right racist is a lot different then saying racist things though. This country is filled with people who say racist things but I don't know a single person personally who will treat someone different based on the color of their skin or what country they come from. There usually has to be actions involved on a person to person basis where true racism says "ALL of a said race is beneath me". I don't know a better way to explain that. Either way, a lot of this crap is down to media (specially news sources) and statistics.

I believe everyone can be racist. But, I dnt like it. I can't stand Racism. Why can't ppl treat each other equally? If I dnt like to be called Racial things, Why Would I do it back to someone else? Its just wrong. So, Imo... If ya dnt have anything nice to say about a dif race, Its better to keep quite. In My Opinion only.
