What difference does it make how many other people are in the match? Do you honestly think that the fact Swagger's booked in a match that contains 4-less people really matters at all in regards to how WWE punishes him? Because it really shouldn't. And unlike Hardy, Swagger was actually endangering the lives of other people by doing what he was doing, so it's actually worse.

MITB may as well have been a title match too considering Jeff was booked to win it and he would have become champion shortly afterwards anyways.

Yet MitB requires little investment in the build compared to a World Title match, a one on one title match... Entirely different circumstances to Meth Hardy going to a MitB comparable to Jack Swagger going into the WHC.

Besides, it seems Swagger is staying in the WHC. R-Truth got caught with weed and didn't get suspended till after the Big PPV match, this is the same situation.

It does seem like WWE are just going ahead with this feud and will deal with Swagger after WM. I guess it is fair enough that they don't want to stop a big feud that they had planned and all this extra publicity would have convinced them to stick with it. Doesn't set the best example but I guess a WM loss and then a bit of jobbing post WM will make up for that.
