If this is head booker, why do we need the lavish writing style to be shown. I mean the booker role is for someone to book something good in a short and sweet manner for the writers to illustrate. Bookers just plan out but the details weren't necessary as they won't be needing to worry about doing that when one of them are head booker.

The head booker judges whether a piece of work is good enough basically, so if they can't write a segment how can they judge somebody elses?

This basically, it's always good to see who can do what also, so then if they input to the creative team, you can see what's what before-hand.
