Love the Discussion going on hear it warms my soul. I am too a fan of the Zombie Halloween Films don't break my heart again with Danielle Harris getting brutally murdered. I always liked that Michael had a progression to his actions of him going crazy rather than a kid just thinking that night yep I'm going to kill my Sister today. Granted I can understand how that makes Michael seem too human and we keep seeing him especially the last two films become not human the way he gets through damage but that is just me I liked that story Rob Zombie was showing us. I still don't get the ending of the second one and his reason for it but overall quality films I thought.

Favs from Halloween for me

1. Halloween(78)
2. Halloween(2018)
3. Halloween 4
4. Halloween Kills
5. Halloween 2
6. Halloween(2007)
6. Halloween 5
7. H20
8. Halloween(2009)
9. Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers
10. Halloween: Resurrection.

Yeah 2 in my top 5 I love the kills in that film as well as the Ending. You would think a Hospital would be the safest place for Laurie and you find out no where on this Earth is safe for Laurie.

I've got a newfound appreciation for this movie after watching through it again. It's flawed but honestly I think it's a pretty fun movie with some great kills and Michael Myers on top form. I think when I first watched it I was just comparing it to the 2018 version far too much which I really loved. I especially always liked the 1978 flashback at the beginning. Those scenes are still probably the best part overall for me because I thought they nailed some of the atmosphere from the original there. Going in with more tempered expectations this time after seeing it previously I think helped a lot.

Remove the geek who got bullied by band geeks and this would've been fine.

Don't job out Michael Myers is all I'm saying.
