I might have to look in to the other Tomb Raider games with how much I'm enjoying the 2013 game. It still holds up incredibly well, so I imagine the next ones are even prettier and more polished. Heard really good things about Rise of the Tomb Raider especially.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is absolutely amazing. The best of the new trilogy. Shadow of the Tomb Raider is well done as well. Not as good as the other 2 story wise but it is visually stunning. All worth playing. Rise is definitely the best of the bunch.

Finally got a headset. Came in yesterday. Of course, I can't use it until after Xmas because it will be another Xmas present to me from my kids. It will make them happy that they got me something like that.

I was about to have a heart attack. My XSX would not show a picture. I thought the HDMI port was fucked already.

What happened tho?

A bit off topic but I've had the worst fucking luck with Hdmi cables lately idk what it is, it's always the sound the stops working for me

Not sure what happened. It just had a blank picture but I could hear everything on the menu. Switched out HDMI cords and everything. Took it out to the living room and hooked it up to that tv and got a picture. Brought it back to the game room still no picture. Switched it from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2 and it was fine. Plugged the PS4 into HDMI 1 and it was fine. Everything is working with zero issue. My mind is blown.

It sucks I cannot play Cyberpunk unless all the kids are in bed. I don't like to shield my kids from anything in the world regardless of age but I also am not going to go out of my way to expose them.

Plus, my 5-year-old would most definitely bring up she saw boobies in a game daddy was playing to her teacher at school.

Very surprised by how well Doom 3 holds up. It still has plenty of tension, and the survival horror elements are great. Weapons feel very satisfying to use as well, and I like how there's lot of little audio files and things to find. The graphical style of the game has aged really well. You wouldn't think you're playing a game from 2004 in some parts. Although, I do think the difficulty I'm playing on is probably a bit too easy. I wasn't sure how hard it would be on the higher modes, but I'm all for running another playthrough when I'm finished with it.

You know what I would really like to see?

Sega getting back into the console business. With how much I loved the Dreamcast, Saturn and Genesis, I would be onboard with this and get it day one. Give the big 3 someone else in the business to compete with. I think they could outdo Nintendo at least.

Dreamcast was way ahead of it's time. Sonic Adventure had many hundreds of hours poured in to it, one of my all-time favourite games.
